The technician did a great job cleaning our air duct and drier vents. First, he explains what he’s doing to clean the entire house. He pays attention to every detail in cleaning each vent and returns. He showed us pictures of before and after on areas where there’s so much dirt accumulated over time. Can’t believe our drier vents were filled up with so much lint. Glad we had this air duct cleaning done and we will do it again in 7years as recommended. We highly recommend J&R Heating & Cooling. Lastly, you don’t have to break the bank to pay for this company since the price is very reasonable. And that’s a big plus for us!
Thanks to the knowledgeable and friendly technicians at the AC repair near me service I found, I now have peace of mind knowing my unit is running properly. After a bad experience with a home warranty co, I found J&R Heating & Cooling in the phone book. That was almost 2 yrs ago and I've been using them ever since. Friendly, honest & dependable!
This business is extremely unprofessional and does not honor their contractually obligated agreements. They use a barely coherent 3rd party call center, who have no idea what is going on. The technicians fail with a no call, no show, about 95% of the time. They subcontract out all their work to various levels of incompetent 3rd party technicians. I made the mistake of completing a HVAC and venting install after a couple of missed appointments, and never was able to get a repair appointment after 8 missed appointments. This business promises 5 year warranties on their services, but don't event attempt to reach out, much less make their obligated repair appointments. Avoid this business like the plague. I have no idea who wrote these other reviews, but they must be employees or farmed out to fake accounts.
They have always been so pleasant on the phone - they return phone calls quickly. If a technician is going to be later than scheduled, which has only happened once, I was informed in plenty of time and they were so apologetic. The technicians are neat and take care of their own mess and are careful within one's personal space.

Was impressed with the professionalism and expertise of the technician, Ken, from this HVAC company. He arrived on time and was very friendly and knowledgeable. Tom was able to diagnose the issue with my furnace quickly and provided me with a detailed explanation of the problem and the repair process. He was very efficient in his work and completed the job in a timely manner. I would highly recommend this HVAC company and Tom for anyone in need of quality service. Thank you, Ken, for your hard work!
This is not a legitimate business and many of these reviews appear to be from fake accounts. This company didn’t finish the work that they started and once they have your credit card they charge you for things that you did not sign off on. Not only that, but they don’t do any of the required permits through the city. They don’t even have business cards. Please beware of this company, as they are actively being investigated as a fraudulent business through the state.
James is incredible. End of story. Everything was explained in a simple way, giving us peace of mind. While he was here, he was also happy to assist us with another minor issue unrelated to the one for which he came. J&R Heating & Cooling team is welcome to come by for anything in the future. Bravo!!
Mark is our go-to guy for any furnace-related questions, repairs, or installations. His rates are the most affordable in the valley. He goes out of his way to help troubleshoot and respond to repair calls. His professionalism and knowledge are greatly valued. Fully recommended!
J&R Heating & Cooling company was extremely responsive, and a quote was scheduled within a few days. Other companies told us they couldn't even get new units into our 15-year-old attic. Jeff was confident from the start and very knowledgeable about our options and logistics. He arrived with 5 people on the installation day, all masked, booted, and ready to work. They kept us informed throughout the installation and discussed all options with us before moving forward. Would recommend for the installation of a new air conditioning system!
Don't have an experience to share because they never showed up. I received a call saying they would be here in 30 mins and after an hour I called them and the response I got was she would put a call in to the supervisor and call me back well let's just say I haven't heard from anyone
J&R Heating & Cooling provided quick, professional service. Everyone that I dealt with was very friendly and courteous. They were able to fix my unit faster as well as cheaper than another competitor. Will definitely be using them from here on out.
Excellent service. James and Michael are very friendly, punctual and professional. Our furnace was replaced on the next day after an estimation we got. I can confirm that they are the most responsive company I've contacted. And I am super confident that they would be meticulous to make sure we would be happy with our install. They are top of my list so far. Five stars!
I really like how J&R Heating & Cooling does business. You are informed every step of getting a repair person to your door. Safety of a technician picture is emailed in advance. Our technician was perfect. He was very mannerly, informative and had the work completed without any hassle. Very impressed!I will always call this company in the future.
Called after out A/C took a long time to come on 2 days during the week. Very nice office staff when I called to schedule someone to come out. J&R Heating & Cooling technician came out and was very informative and checked all of the spots that he thought could be creating an issue. He fixed it promptly and gave me instructions on how to check things in the future and filter suggestions. Great company to work with!
Chance and his entire crew are the most professional I have ever encountered. My house has never had HVAC and with baseboard heating, something had to change. I hired J&R Heating & Cooling to upgrade my electrical (which had a bulb fuse panel) and install an air compressor/heat pump and I couldn’t be happier from start to finish with the entire process. You will not be disappointed if you go with this company for your heating and air needs.
There was no receipt, invoice, or official write-up. The tech asked for $150 after admitting he didn't know how to fix our air flow issues. This felt like a scam. He was a nice guy but did not present himself professionally. There was no identification of any kind shared upon meeting and I had to lend him my flashlight.
Fast, responsive, and very accommodating. I had an old AC system giving us problems. I was able to get an appointment for a replacement the next day. Rachael was very helpful and able to get me all information needed to make an informed decision. Jeff the technician was on time and very helpful/knowledgeable. Will return if I have any other issues they can help with. Excellent experience.
Excellent Service from Steve at J&R Heating & Cooling!We called when our unit failed and they scheduled a repair for the next day.He called ahead to let us know he was arriving 10 minutes early, stayed until the job was completely done, answered all my questions, and left me completely satisfied.Was on time and very efficient.
