These people are scammers!!! Don't use Aquarius, American, or Freedom (same company, but they have three different names and two different numbers for some reason...?!) Our air conditioner went on the fritz on June 3, during hot weather. Renato Carrasquedo with Aquarius a.k.a. American a.k.a. Freedom was quick to come out (June 5). He quoted us $1300 for a repair or $3500 for a new one. Minimum $80 service charge. We were a little suspicious, and luckily waited for a second opinion. Standard Heating and Air came out three days later and said it was a cut/chewed wire. Service guy Mike stripped the wires and used a wire-nut to reconnect them. Fixed in 30 minutes for $170.
They texted me and wanted to reschedule me because they had more important people in front of me. I said I didn’t want to reschedule, they never showed up and I never heard from them again.
One of the best contractor experiences I've ever had. I worked extensively with David and the Freedom crew in my aging Minneapolis home. It was a great experience and I will wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone. David evaluated our home and our needs and actually concluded that we needed LESS than I asked for! He emphasized the need for whole-home comfort and not just slapping in a high-efficiency furnace and calling it done. He coordinated with my insulation company to tackle the whole project. He spent a ton of time on the phone with me - well beyond what could be reasonably expected. He and his crew were extremely courteous, timely, and CLEAN. David ensured that our home was just as nice when they left - a true feat that I have never experienced with any company before Freedom. I felt no qualms about David and his crew working in the home with my wife and child when I wasn't present - my wife had great respect for the crew and was extremely impressed with how diligently they took care of our home. David and his teams showed up when they said they would and completed the work on (or ahead of) schedule. The system is working flawlessly and keeps our home comfortable, even in the bitter cold. I had 4 companies visit my home before choosing David and Freedom. Now I'll never have to go through that hassle again - I'll always pick Freedom. I recommend you do the same.

Great service. The tech came on time and repaired my heat pump in a very timely manner.We were leaving town and I wanted or heating system working properly. Wonderful service from these guys. We needed someone out to fix the furnace that broke in our duplex on our tenants side. It was 7 degrees outside that day. They were able to come the same day and fix it by 5. Life savers! Pricing was fair and they were very professional.
I needed help quickly because our furnace stopped working and a cold front was coming! After calling Freedom, John arrived 30 minutes later. He diagnosed the problem in no time and fixed it. He also gave me good tips for the future care of the furnace. John was very congenial and his knowledge of furnaces gave me great confidence in his diagnosis. Pricing was very fair! David with Freedom did a large project for me as part of a basement remodel, and did an excellent job! Scope of work included a new furnace and A/C unit, re-configured duct work to allow for more ceiling space for a new basement bedroom, and a number of new gas lines. As part of the larger basement project, David had to coordinate a number of items with the plumber I had hired, and he did a great job playing nice and working well with the other contractor. The electricians Freedom subcontracted, JZ Electric, did excellent work as well. David consistently had an eye on suggestions for improvements that could be done, when other contractors would simply be trying to install new HVAC systems, get paid, and get out. The staff workers that did the majority of the work were friendly, respectful, and helpful with all my questions. Freedom's office staff were also on top of everything, and were helpful whenever I needed something from them. I couldn't be happier I chose to work with Freedom, and I would recommend them to anyone.

Six years ago, after much research I bought a furnace and air conditioner through David at Freedom. His caring style and attention to detail was outdone by his integrity. This week I returned to Freedom when a competitor said I had gas leaks, failing parts etc. during an annual furnace check. Not only did I NOT have gas leaks, Freedom (John and Ado) found and fixed a potential safety hazard created by a contractor. The competitor was trying a fear tactic, didn’t consider other key issues and never suggested that issue (if it existed) might be covered by warranty). I have continually been impressed with the exceptional quality of caring, professional service from Freedom. THEY follow up on every service request and care deeply. It is a refreshing and essential difference from any other service providers I’ve seen in many years. Freedom you make me believe in family run businesses. You have heart and talent. Thank you.

I have been a club member for almost 3 years. Everyone at Freedom Heating is always friendly and helpful. Rae Lynn and Amy in the office, owner Dave, Anthony, John and Otto are knowledgeable and patient. They always answer my questions thoroughly. They are always punctual for appointments. I am grateful they take good care of my HVAC system.

I'm a former general contractor, so finding a good heat & air company is extremely important. John replaced the coil on our AC unit today. He was efficient, knowledgeable, friendly, and professional. I wouldn't hesitate to refer Freedom to my friends and family. In fact, I have!
I called Freedom Heating and AC when my regular HVAC company quoted an incredibly high price for an installation of 3 Ecobee thermostats for our zoned system. Our technician, Anthony, was helpful in not only the installation but also with the Wi-Fi set up. There prices were reasonable and the service was outstanding. Amy, the office assistant was timely and very customer friendly. I would use them again in a heartbeat.
Freedom Heating & AC did an AWESOME job! They were friendly and professional from my first phone call to our scheduled appointment! Jon, our tech, did a great job, he was very thorough and answered every question I had. I would recommend them all highly!!
Ado did a fantastic job tuning up our furnace for the winter. Found a few trouble spots that he fixed up immediately and explained some troubleshooting tips that will be very helpful for the future. Highly recommend Freedom for your HVAC needs, very solid work.
Today Otto serviced my furnace. A new face for me on the team. Like always before an excellent job was done. I have since years everytime had great people performing quality service jobs. Otto seems like a perfect fit.
