Scheduled an appointment to get a quote on a geothermal system, earliest appointment was 2 weeks out which I was ok with. The day of the appointment they called cancelling stating they’ve decided to no longer do geothermal. Very unprofessional, I wouldn’t trust anything this company says or promises.

Nathen did great job finding the problem. What I didn’t like was the up selling. I guess this is standard procedure for all contractors. Not a fan of it. My most expensive option was $550. I only paid the diagnostic fee $189 Update. Aire Serv of Eden Prairie is one of the worst companies to work with. They required that I write the above post at the time of payment to get a discount on the work. The furnace that was installed had additional problems that took three different service calls to get corrected. Each time a different Tech come to the house and they had to start from ground zero to understand the problem. The only good thing is each one of the techs left some of their tools behind so I now have a new temperature probe, screwdriver and channel locks. AVOID THIS COMPANY!!!

I called to request a quote to install a bathroom vent, and was told I'd have to pay a $249 "diagnostic fee". I asked what they were diagnosing, as there is not currently a vent fan, and they did not seem to understand. Absolute waste of time. You can't charge somebody $249 to write a quote and actually expect to get business. (Plus, imagine how overpriced they must be if a quote alone for a basic, straight duct on a single story house is $249...)

Brian replaces my dryer vent. He was very helpful and also suggested replacing the old copper gas line that had a sharp bend in it. After the work was done I noticed the dryer was sticking out a few inches more than previously. He came back out and got it as far back as it could go due to the elbow on the new gas line attachment. I was not charged for this second visit.

Everyone I have worked with at Aire Serv has been fantastic. They are all professional, friendly, prompt, and very good at what they do. Doug (who is usually the one who answers the phone when I call) is always a joy to talk to, and all of the techs who have come out to perform work have always been great as well. They were referred to me by a friend who had a great experience with them, and I've since used their services for furnace repair, AC cleaning, and most recently, AC replacement. With the furnace repair, there was a lot of back and forth with the home warranty company, and Aire Serv (Doug specifically) was so patient with all of it and did everything they could to help. I would absolutely happily recommend Aire Serv of EP to anyone who has any kind of HVAC issues!

I’d give 0 stars if I could. My AC went out on the 4th of July and we were having people over that day so I started calling companies early in the morning to see who could get out to me first and for the best price. I spoke to a girl on the phone and she said someone could be out by 1 and it would be $100 fee for the trip. It was $50 less than another place so I cancelled the other appointment and went with them. 3:00 came around and I hadn’t heard anything from anyone there so I called and the girl couldn’t tell me anything because her system was down but would contact the people and have them call me. I didn’t get a call so I called back at 4 and requested another call and then I got one and was next up. So the guy finally gets out around 5PM and looks at stuff and says I need a new system. He could give me a “bandaid” that would last anywhere from a month to maybe the end of summer by adding Freon for a price tag of $750. I said no thanks. I can get a new system the next week. Then he tells me I owe $270 just for him coming out! What?! The person on the phone said it was $100. He said it’s $100 for the trip but it’s this muck more for this and this much more for this. (That was not explained to me) so I said ok just put the stuff in so we don’t have to rush on the new system and maybe it will cool down by then so it won’t be as bad when it’s off when they install it. He put in a couple gallons and that was it. I paid $750 and he was gone. 1 WEEK LATER the AC goes out AGAIN! I called to say I want either a partial refund or someone to come out and put another “bandaid” on so I can have AC for the weekend. It’s 90 degrees today and I don’t have AC because they wouldn’t stand behind their work or what the worker told me. I would NEVER have paid $750 for 1 week of AC. If he said there was a chance of it not working for a month I would have not paid that. This place is terrible. They charge MORE than what they say they will for the trip and do not stand behind th
