Ran a lady off the road
My mother in law had them do some work on her boiler. They replaced the expansion tank (screws on and off and cost 150 buck at home depot) for $622.00. They replace the air vent (screws on and off and cost $15 buck as home depot) and charged $176.00. They replaced a water pressure valve ($15 bucks for the part) and charged $650.00. They replaced a $8 thermocouple and charged $240.00. Then they had the audacity to charge her for preventative care/cleaning of the boiler ($270.00) after changing these parts and charging the standard boiler drain down and refile of $327.00. I'm sure the drain and refile was the hardest thing about the whole job. All of this and a $120 service call that is not waived if the service your equipment. Be aware of what they are charging you for and do some research before using Holland heating and cooling. I would say that all the items they replaced probably needed to be replaced but the price is probably 30% higher than the next guy. I would recommend getting quotes from other companies. I am very upset and feel they took advantage of the situation.

Buyer be ware. I called them in mid April because my furnace went out. I have base board hot water heat. They replaces a pump and charged me over 1200 dollars. The pump worked for about 4 week. They installed a bad unit. It went out again when I turned my furnace back on this year. I called them because they had just installed it. They wanted me to pay for a service call plus their labor. They refused to honor their work. Very unprofessional. I have consumer energy protection plan. They have to replace the pump that they just installed and refused to honor. Be ware of this company. Please look else way and save your self a tone of money hand head aches.

Prices out of line. Can buy at home depot for under 5000.00. Holland heating and cooling was over 14000.00 I under labor but 9000.00 for one day to install.
