Tuesday they came and diagnosed the problem with my furnace. My furnace was thirty-five years old and the money to repair it was not worth it. On Wednesday the salesman was out and quoting us a new furnace. By Friday it was installed and they applied the cost of the service call to the new furnace. The service was great.
Moose and Brice from Reliable Heating and Cooling arrived on time at one of my rental properties to install BOTH a new 95% hi-efficiency furnace and an electric water heater. Reliable had coordinated with an electrician to wire the water heater since I was changing from gas to electric. Both Moose and Brice were good-natured, focused and professional. Brice is terrific with copper plumbing and running the pvc intake/exhaust venting. Moose fitted the new furnace into existing duct work with a masterful touch. They were a great team, completed the installation in a tight space and left the work area in clean condition. I highly recommend Reliable Heating and Cooling if you are a Grand Rapids landlord and need HVAC service - they are simply the BEST!
I want to rename this business 'LIFESAVING Heating and Cooling LLC' because that's what Lisa, Kenton and Tom did for me. When my old furnace went on the fritz on one of the coldest Saturdays of the year, I had a sinking feeling in my stomach. I dialed up Reliable Heating and Cooling and a very cheerful Lisa answered. I was surprised someone would answer the phone on a Saturday, and even more stunned when Lisa told me that Kenton, their crackerjack heating technician, could arrive at my Grand Rapids house within three hours. Kenton and Tom, the repair team, arrived and diagnosed the problem. Rather than talking down my ancient furnace and trying to upsell me on replacing it, they patiently explained what was wrong and assured me they could make the furnace work until Monday when they would return with new replacement parts. True to their word, the furnace was up and running again, and on Monday, they returned with brand-new parts as promised. The repair was reasonable and I was pleasantly surprised that they didn't try to pressure me into replacing the furnace on their return visit. Honestly, Reliable Heating and Cooling are lifesavers and I recommend this business for its professional quality work at an affordable price.
Amazing service! Last year a reputable company installs my unit, takes my $3200 and the owner decides to go the Jared Fogle route, then in turn bankrupts his company. Reliable Heating and Cooling seemed like the only other choice for service. Highly recommend!!!!
Arron is an HVAC guru. He came out to diagnose an A/C condenser that wasn't working properly. He was patient and methodical and very cool-headed. When he diagnosed the problem, he presented options and I chose the option that best fit my budget. I highly recommend Aaron and the entire Reliable Heating & Cooling team for property owners in Grand Rapids.
Horrible wire installation is in between pipes , depending on who is doing the job not all workers are the same . Other worker came and fixed after almost 10 days and I understand was not an emergency

Josh the Service Technician did a fine job. He explained the process to me as we walked into the house, at the furnace and at the condenser outside. He also identified potential failure modes upcoming and current items that should have immediate attention. His knowledge was impressive and knew the right things to say to get me (the customer) to get preventative repairs done sooner than later. I appreciated that.

My A/C was not working as well as it should be. I told them my daughter has health problems and does not breathe well in the warm weather. They were able to send a tech out with in 1/2 hour and get it functioning properly. Very very thankful!
