Outstanding experience with Schutz - from initial phone call with Rebecca, Chris (sales), and HVAC techs. Lena (ofc mgr) is wonderful! Matt (lead tech) and Caleb came yesterday (on time, as sched) to install new central AC unit. Throughout their stay, they were professional, respectful, and friendly. Can’t say enough about the quality of work- perfectionism in each step. Was VERY impressed with Matt’s knowledge and expertise, plus he took the time to educate & explain info to us. Even the smaller things like drop cloths/shoe coverings, meticulous clean-up & general respect for our home was impressive. Matt had wonderful things to say of his employer; very telling re. integrity of this company. Unit works like a charm, and we are very grateful!! Have used many other HVAC companies over the years, but no comparison to Schutz- we will be loyal customers forever. This is a lengthy review, but feel it’s imperative to share these details, and how highly we recommend this company. Thank you for such an excellent and seamless experience!
These guys had great service quality and communication. They were on time. Left the job site cleaner than it started with. Would recommend to anyone looking for hvac work. Five Stars!
Previously had Trusted out for a 3 yr Lennox no heat this last winter and explained it was still under warranty. We had the mother board replaced and was charged for the warranty part. Found when running the air we had nothing but slight coolness. Called Schulz Heating and Cooling and they were out the next day and they found the mother board was wired wrong and fixed it immediately. Jerry was very professional and checked over everything thoroughly. I will now only use Schulz and highly recommend for your HVAC needs. Cynthia Bethke
$30,000 hvac system installed lasted 2 years. They came back out to verify all the refrigerant has leaked out, and haven't been back to repair it. They forward calls to an answering service, work out of somebody's house, and when they get a negative review, they have their friends write fake reviews to cancel it out. Now we sit in the cold.
Great company. They care about their customers and go above and beyond to fix any problem. Will never deal with anyone else. Awesome.
These guys were AWESOME, our existing furnace went toes up on a Thursday, the new furnace was installed by them on Saturday. Nice job Schutz Heating & Cooling. Thank you*****
I had my furnace break down and they were able to come out the next day. I was impressed with their customer service, fast response time, and professionalism. They had a quote ready for me right away and were able to install it that day. I would recommend them to anyone who is looking for heating and cooling services.
We hired Schultz Heating & Cooling in January 2019 to install a new furnace, summer of 2019 for an A/C repair, and recently for a maintenance/inspection service. While we "briefly" waited for our new furnace, during a polar vortex, Schutz supplied us with space heaters to keep us warm. They are extremely professional, courteous, timely, and honest. I highly recommend Schutz to anyone who needs top notch service! Now, in December odds 2022 we are still receiving the same great service. We're more than happy.
the response from the company I received on my review is ridiculous! What are you referring to with the words “Please know that your situation was an exception” because the work service i received and paid for was unexceptionable so how was there any exception?? That is unprofessional to say and now it makes me feel worse about this company very poor service and I regret going with this company and being ripped off of thousands. They did a poor installation in the first place because I do not get good air flow and every time I tell the tech when they come they do nothing!
Installed heating n cooling n humidifier in our home; nothing but problems; summer air goes out and they have been out so many times the owner now tells me that it’s our home and not the A/C unit. Now that winter is upon us the heating system no longer works; we are now having to deal w/ Trane (the manufacture) directly. Total nightmare
Every year I faithfully pay $219 for maintenance on my furnace and ac unit and at this point I feel like it is a rip off. I paid almost $10,000 for the install of a new furnace and ac which is alot of money I trusted this company to do a exceptional job and they didn't install correctly to begin with and everytime the maintenance is done they are only their for 25 Mins to the most and barely do anything! I feel like I have been seriously ripped off by this company.
Although I couldn't get in next day (it wasn't emergent) I was offered an appt two weeks out. Blake was early, communicated extremely clearly and let me know what was coming down the pike. DEFINITELY WILL USE AGAIN
Updated: Editing my review just to note my latest experience. For normal service & check-ups I've had no problem. Most recently though, when my home's humidifier wasn't working the first technician said it needed a part replaced. Then when a second technician came out he said he couldn't fix it & I probably needed to get a brand new one. I ended up going with a different company & they were able to clean the humidifier & get it working. Old review: Had nothing but a pleasant experience with Schutz! They serviced the heating & cooling unit in my condo, called when they were on their way, were very respectful & went above & beyond with cleaning. Will definitely use them again.
There are so many experiences we have during our lives as a homeowner. Things break, wear out, or aren't installed right from the beginning. That's where we were. We bought a house almost five years ago and have had constant issues with trying to keep the house warm ( and not have $375-425 Electric bills for just two adults in a 2500 sqft home). We've had eight (8) techicians and different companies come in and try to figure it out, only to do a partial job of fixing it, a less-then- proper seasonal maintenance and tell us our duct work is too small. One company quoted 14k to fix it. This year I was googling questions to try to solve our constant issues and noises and why the furnace wouldn't stay on and constantly shut-off on its own and thus, not heat the house in doing so- I found our saving grace. TONY, the owner of the company is the guru, mastermind, genius and he is as humble, grateful and professional as they come. He came to our house, notebook in hand and deeply assessed our train wreck of a set-up. He drew sketches on his pad, wrote items needed, custom pieces needed to rebuilding an already amazing furnace that was poorly, cheaply and improperly installed from Day One! How our furnance was installed didn't allow for proper airflow and thus not only over ran our system, it made it so it was constantly and consistent overheating and shutting off; any air that could get through a clogged, restricted pathway was restricted even further with smaller, poor cheaply designed duct work and an exhust from our propane that was only a small 2inch tube that unfortunately anyone standing at our front door would be blasted with this horrible exhust. Tom, was the Forman of the crew that came and these guys couldn't BE more courteous, professional and hard working!! Dedicated to their work and families, they work through the lunchtime to make a more productive day and be able to get home. HARD WORKERS! Lena and the whole crew helped us out with a No Heat call, finding out we needed a new furnace they provided us with heaters to keep the house warm until the parts could come in. Their were prompt, professional and they make sure you are satisfied with the final product before they leave. They care about their customers and that shows from Lena,Chris the salesman,Scott the service man and Matt and his crew of installers! Excellent company and we would recommend them very highly! I had a/c and a new water heater installed. They were nothing but professional from beginning to end. They were happy to answer all my questions. They were quiet enough for me to keep working from home. I would definitely use them again. They were awesome!
Excellent service, friendly, professional, explained what they were doing and if there were any issues to call and they would take care of it right away. Worksight was cleaned up and left the way they found it. Very satisfied with the work they did.
From the estimate to the final handshake, this company was excellent. They installed a new furnace, a new AC unit, and a new water heater. Code required a liner sleeve to be fitted into the chimney for water heater exhaust and the crew made it happen with minimum fuss. Thomas, the crew leader, was very skilled at working with sheet metal to configure a beautiful transition from my older ductwork to the new furnace. The rest of the crew was a well-oiled team, from demolishing the older systems to setting up the new equipment. All the debris and packaging was tidied up as they progressed so the work sites inside and out were well maintained. The outside AC Unit was very thoughtfully positioned, the final appearance of the AC unit and its pad were carefully groomed. Schutz Heating and Cooling is the best!
Very professional from start to finish. The installers were on time and cleaned everything up nicely. Tom also took the time to review what they did, how to use our thermostat and recommendations to keep our new furnace in good shape.
I recently had an unexpected furnace failure. I bought a new furnace for my condo that I moved into 4 months ago, these things happen. My son-in-law gave me the name to Schutz's and could not have been happier with them. The staff from the first phone call to the first repair man, sales rep, and the installers , very professional and helped me in any way they could. I would highly recommend this company for service. The job was done so well. Thank you Schutz I will be calling you back for different upgrades to my system. **They did such a good job on the furnace my AC needed to be replaced of course I called them.Wonderful job and again same as above.
