A. Fagundes installed my heat pump system to replace an old gas/AC that was failing as well as several smaller jobs for plumbing and heating. The service, quality, and professionalism they exhibit each time they have come to do work has been outstanding and I recommend them to anyone needing work done.
I would not recommend this company as their service is shocking. Less than 5 years ago, they installed our Mitsubishi splits because my brother, based in Lowell, recommended them. For both my brother's family and us, the splits have not lasted 5 years because the line sets that they chose to install were prone to corrosion and leaked. Jason refused to come to our house (after speaking with his manager) because we are now "outside of his service area" so we are left to fend for ourselves in replacing their poor quality work. We were in their service area when we invested tens of thousands of dollars less than five years ago but are now conveniently on our own. We will also be reporting this business to the Better Business Bureau.
They did a good job removing a gas pipe from a stove. Easy to contact, quick and good communication. Expensive - nearly $500 for 1 hour of work with no parts except to cap the line. Also, when they shutoff the gas they didn't relight the hot water heater so my family woke up next day to an ice cold showers.

They were on sight within an hour to see why AC wasn't getting the rooms cold. Diagnosed almost immediately and remedied the situation. Polite and courteous and respectful of their surroundings.

I am not sure why furnace installation isn't one of the services mentioned, however they installed a new furnace, worked diligently, respectfully answered any questions, and finished the job in the time given. Followup questions were and are being addressed in a timely manner. All of my consultation and work with the company has been professional and attentive.
I used Fagundes to do preventive maintenance on my Navien tankless hot water heater. The service was quick and the technician very pleasant.

Pool heater diagnostics, A + service, technician arrived 10min early toke the time to explain, highly recommended
They “repaired” our heating system when we were effected by the Merrimack gas incidents and inside of 1 year the heating thermostat stopped working. They installed what they obviously charged the gas company the most expensive electric thermostat. Done inside of a year they show up and charge a ridiculous amount for a substandard replacement. They put in a hot water heater and now that’s gone. If you want to hire a professional and competent contractor…. Keep looking because they aren’t your solution. They must have taken Columbia to the cleaners and they took us with them … avoid at all costs.
They have worked on everything for us around heating and AC and plumbing. Also generator installation. We have used several companies in the area and this is absolutely the best one professional, responsive, knowledgeable.

Excellent service and value again from A. Fagundes Plumbing! The plumber, Jeremy, arrived early, took time to understand the issue and fully diagnose it, and then kept me informed thru the whole repair process. When an additional repair appeared, he took me through the options and provided the estimates on the spot. I didn't expect the under-sink water filter and faucet installation could happen on the same day, but he did it and it's just what I'd hoped for. We ended the visit with a tour of the work done and final review of the bill. Extremely professional, leaving everything cleaned and ready to use. Thanks, Jeremy! Highly recommend this company!
Technician was not only on time, he was actually early and very nice. He explained everything that was wrong with the system and did amazing work. Will definitely be using them in the future.
I had first called another plumber, got a quote that was so high, the woman at mass saves encouraged me to get at least one more quote. I had Fagundes come out, the plumber was very professional and forthcoming, and the quote I received was 1/4 what I was quoted by the other company. Thank goodness mass saves told me to get another quote, and thank goodness I called Fagundes.
