We've had Sean out a few times to our property, and each time he is incredibly respectful, quick, and honest with his work! I would very much recommend him as your plumber! We intend on using him again whenever we have issues with our plumbing!

Had an excellent experience dealing with Sean recently to install my water heater tank. He responded immediately and was at my place within a few hours and completed the work swiftly. Sean was able to come out quickly to address the leak in my basement which turned out to be a pipe leak. He went the extra distance to not only locate where the issue was coming from, but also brought in a carpenter to help. Sean also followed up the next day to ensure the issue was fixed, and recommended a contractor to fix the water damage. Outstanding customer service, highly recommended.

I moved into the area recently and have been diligently calling around trying to find a reliable and knowledgeable person to get some work done in our old house. From the moment we started working with Sean, we knew he was the real deal. He practically saved our life! (Seriously.) The first time we called him was on a Saturday for a minor concern about a pilot light that wouldn't turn on. He was busy but he gave us some recommendations over the phone for a quick solve that saved us so much time and money (it was free lol) that we were sure to call him again for our next project. The second time we asked him to check on our old boiler. He was very well organized with his schedule and was able to follow up with me quickly to tell me the day and time he could come out. I work from home and I'm often in and out of meetings, so reliability with time is crucial. In my experience, he'll be there when he says he'll be there. If his arrival will stray from the original plan, he is sure to give you plenty of notice. When he arrived, it turned out that the boiler was leaking gas for who knows how many weeks! He quickly solved it and he left us feeling 100% safe in our own home. I can't tell you how grateful our family was that he was there. The third time we asked him to repair some leaks in the pipes that lead to our baseboard heaters and he was able to find another leak we hadn't even noticed. Luckily, he was able to resolve it quickly with very little increase in labor and materials. And if you need any more sugar on top, he left the space absolutely spotless. All in all, this guy is awesome and worth every penny. He's reliable, knowledgeable, trustworthy, and, to make things even better, he's an absolute pleasure to work with as a person! For a new homeowner it can feel like it's costing a pretty penny because of all the projects we need to get done, but I've gotten guys that come in, give me a "reasonable" quote and then I either can't get ahold of them again or they
My old water heater broke and flooded. I called Sean from McNiff Plumbing and he answered, scheduled me for the day and showed up very quickly. He installed a new water heater quickly and answered all my questions. The price was very fair and lower than any other quotes I got. I highly recommend McNiff Plumbing and will definitely be using them in the future.
I had several plumbing issues which included installation of a new toilet. He addressed all of them and was honest and forthright about the best way to proceed. He was also at a reasonable price. I highly recommend Sean and will use him in the future as issues arise.
We needed to replace the forced hot water registers in our 3 bathrooms as they were rusted even after replacing them a couple of times.I finally got 3 new units that are supposed to be more resistant to humidity. We needed to install them before winter but our regular plumber was not helpful.So, this summer we decided to go with someone else. I googled to find a good plumber in our area and I found "McNiff Plumbing and Heating" in shrewsbury, Massachusetts. The reviews were positive and decided to give him a call. It was the best decision we made. He gave me a rough estimate for the job and I also discussed some other minor plumbing issues if he can take care of while he is here. He came promptly on time and did an exellent job installing the 3 bathroom registers. This required draining the heating system and purging it after installing the new registers. One of the plumbers I talked to indicated that most probably he has to replace some parts in the heating system as a result of draining and purging (scare tactics!). None of this happened with McNiff! McNiff also took care of ALL the other plumbing issues I had. When he went to get some supplies, I relaized that our refrigirator shutoff valve for the water supply is rusted and it may start leaking and would be a good idea to replace it while he was here. I texted him while he was at the plumbing supplies store and he asked me to send him a picture of the shutoff valve. I did and he got a new valve and a braided steel supply line to replace the vinyl one we had before. In addition to all this, while working in the boiler room, he noticed a leak in the hot water supply line and noticed some water accumulating on the floor. I asked him if he can fix that as this was really a serious issue and he did! We are very satisfied with McNiff work and in addition to the excellent workmanship he provided he is very professional, honest, fast, friendly, and a pleasant guy to deal with. Sean is awesome to work with. I cannot do his service justice by acclaiming it is ‘above and beyond.’ I was having hot water heater issues and he was willing to accept text pictures, advise accordingly, advocate appropriately and was completely trustworthy in his repair. He is quick to respond to calls, extremely attentive and really accommodating. I do not leave reviews often - trust me. But I was so impressed by the quality of the service he provided that I felt compelled to pay it forward. I am impressed with the service I received from McNiff Plumbing and Heating. I needed to install a Tankless Gas Water Heater. They were prompt coming in to do an assessment. They suggested a few things I could do to save on the cost of installation which was very helpful to me. I got my written estimate just a few hours later in the email. They did a great job on the installation, they were on time, had in-depth knowledge of what there were doing and completed the installation in a few hours. They even call you back after a few days to check on how the system is performing and if you have encountered any issues. They are highly professional and did an outstanding job overall.
