I originally called Lewis with an AC problem years ago. He came right away and fixed the issue. I had a similar problem again this year and he called me back within 5 minutes! It was an emergency and he came out same day. He looked over the unit, found the problem, and gave us a quote. I decided that the unit was too old to repair so I simply upgraded to a brand new system. Lewis was able to get everything to us immediately - since we had no air conditioning at all - and everything was installed within the week after the original call. He did an amazing job, knew what he was talking about, and offered a few solutions. There's no need to look for anyone else for us - he's our HVAC guy!
My boyfriend and I hired Northshsore HVAC to service our heat pump . We were very impressed with their professionalism, knowledge and responsiveness. Highly recommended.
Had a big issue at my bakery with our walk in freezer. Not only was Lewis quick getting out to us, but he was courteous and kept me informed every step of the way. He turned what could’ve been a disaster into a positive situation. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him to anyone at anytime, the best!

I don't often go out of my way to write reviews, but Lewis deserves some recognition. I reached out to a number of HVAC companies about installing a humidifier system onto our existing HVAC and Lewis got back to me within minutes. he walked me through the process and determined what I would need. He then came out to my house just to make sure I gave him all the right info before I agreed to any work. He was very upfront with costs and time needed for this work. He showed me how everything he set up works, made some suggestions to help us save on our energy bills, and won me over to hire them for annual maintenance work. He is very honest, kind and well worth the cost of knowing my family is well taken care of.

It’s so comforting to have Luis as a trusted HVAC expert. As a first time homeowner I’m pretty clueless and have a very old furnace. Luis has supported us a couple of times with the last time being a very urgent issue due to the cold snap. He came out quickly with our pipes being frozen and was able to repair our very old furnace. I’m so thankful to have someone like Luis who always responds and knows what he’s doing. Highly recommend!!

Louis was fantastic in troubleshooting a not so straightforward issue with our furnace. He was very knowledgeable, communicated effectively and we found that we got amazing service quality for the value. Louis will be our go to for anything related to heating, cooling systems going forward!
Heating system went out at some point overnight and made a call around 5ish am and left a voicemail. Lewis called me back same day, said he be there by 830am, showed up at 830am and got heat up and running again. Wont hesitate to call again.
This was not my first experience with Lewis. I called him for service again this season because he was so good. I mean, why reinvent the wheel? In addition to his professionalism for the job, in general, he was generous with advice on getting the most out of heating and cooling efficiency.

It is a reliable company! When I have an issue with my furnace, I call the company. They explain everything clearly! I never had a issue with them. I strongly recommend!

I manage over 250 units throughout Greater Boston and I could not be happier with the service provided by Lewis & Northshore HVAC. We have had several complex repairs over the years that most tech's would walk away from. Not Lewis. He takes the time to work the problem and is always detailed in his explanations. I highly recommend him!
I called Northshore HVAC/R Monday morning at 7:30 due to an issue with our A/C unit not shutting down and running continuously. Lewis called me back within 15 minutes and after I explained the issue to him, he felt it was an electrical problem and that it should be addressed sooner than later. He arrived before noon and by 12:30 had fixed the problem. Amazing response and customer service. I should add that this occurred during the midst of a significant heat wave that is ongoing and that we were not current customers of Northshore HVAC/R. We had been looking for an HVAC contractor and clearly have found the right guy and look forward to utilizing him for all of our HVAC needs. Thank you, Lewis!
I was very impressed with the service provided!! Elderly parents had multiple problems with the AC due to letting yearly maintenance slip and some kind of rodent chewing on the wires. Lewis was prompt and worked tirelessly to make sure my parents had air conditioning back as soon as possible. He responded to my call quickly, came to the house at the scheduled time and was patient with our many questions and concerns. He replaced several parts in the compressor and changed filters, unplugged the clogged water line and replaced a non-functioning thermostat. He made several trips over the two days without complaint- to ensure everything was in good working order. He was professional and courteous- and of course had excellent knowledge of AC equipment/ unit. We signed up for yearly maintenance and he is also going to check out the AC at my house this week too. That’s how impressed I am with his services.
Very grateful to Louis and Northshore HVAC! He was able to fit us in for AC repair within just three days, versus three weeks for many other places I called, helping to keep our toddler cool and comfortable during a heat wave. He arrived within the estimated service window, fixed the issue quickly, and explained his findings. Professional and nice!
