These guys are super professional. They were able to fit individual HVAC system to each floor of our old and tiny house. Not only that but the work was done exactly as we requested. And it was not an easy job, as the house is old. The systems are working perfectly and we are so happy that we chose MAC. Thank you so much!

This has been one of the best experiences we've had with home improvement contractors of any trade, ever, in MA and beyond. MAC HVAC installed three heat pump systems to our home 2021 and 2022. The crew was highly courteous and professional, and they were also very understanding on our concerns and sensitivities (e.g., COVID). All work was done exactly the way we had agreed on (or better), including our special requests regarding the routing of the refrigerant and power lines etc. We also had the privilege of working with the same crew 2021 and 2022 who were really professional and whose front man was super customer oriented, respectful, and knowledgeable. He kept us in the loop at all times (locations of the registers/vents, details about the routing of lines, etc.) and really listened to our opinions and requests. Most importantly, Mark (the owner) and his skillful crew figured out on how to install an optimal system to our cramped top floor with limited wall space and the result is really great. A feature we also really liked was that all change orders related to small extras that needed to be done (one condensate pump, additional controls, etc.) were really reasonably priced.
MAC HVAC installed a split AC unit for my living/dining area in June, 2022. We were very happy with their professional work and reasonable price so we had them installed five more units this month, 10/2022. Mark, Justin, Kevin, and Derek, were very helpful and paid attention to details. Very happy for their excellent work! Highly recommended MAC HVAC!

In the middle of the worst heat wave we have had so far in 2022, my central air decided to kick the bucket. Since it was a Saturday, I waited until Monday to call several HVAC places to see if I could get someone to come out quickly. The receptionist at MAC HVAC answered the phone and told me they could fit me in the next morning, but that they would let me know if anything opened up. Soon after, I got a call back from MAC HVAC letting me know a spot had opened up and that Mark could be at the house within 30 minutes. As promised, he arrived 30 minutes later and was very pleasant to deal with. I explained my experiences with our system and he quickly got to work on diagnosis. As he worked, he explained why he was checking certain things and what the issue could be, answering any questions I had along the way. The issue was resolved that day, and Mark got my A/C working even better than it was before it died. Since then, we notice the unit is not working as hard to keep up when it's very hot out and we are quite pleased with the service. Don't even bother getting several quotes, just give MAC HVAC a call!
I would never hire Mack Antonoff again nor would I ever recommend him to anyone. We agreed on a specific mini split unit and he installed another brand. Look him up on better business bureau, he has done this to other people. He also keeps changing his business name.
Derek was the techinican and he was very professional and personable.
Justin and Kevin could not have been more professional, courteous and respectful. They thoroughly explained the issue and how to resolve it. I had a called another local HVAC company who told me he would come two different times and never showed. I will always choose MAC HVAC for our future HVAC needs. Thank You!
I've used MAC HVAC a few times now for yearly HVAC maintenance and most recently for a service call after a hot weekend and realizing that the system wasn't blowing cold air. I called and left a message after business hours and they called me back first thing the next morning and was able to send Derek out later that day. Unfortunately he couldn't get my 18yr old compressor going again (he spent 3hrs trying everything he could think of before we called it) so I hired them to replace it which they were able to do the following Monday. The price was very reasonable and the work was done in a day. Justin and Kevin were very professional and courteous and did an excellent job with the installation and cleanup. I would highly recommend MAC HVAC to anyone!!
MAC HVAC gets two thumbs way up from this guy!!!! They showed up when they said they would. Continued to show up every day until they were finished. They were extremely concerned about keeping our house clean and most importantly our new AC system work awesome!!!! Not a trace of anything was left behind, except our dog misses seeing the crew.
After calling a couple local contractors and getting no response I emailed Mark through his site and got a response within 24 hours and then he even came to my house on a Saturday to accommodate my schedule. We scheduled it and they showed up right on time, all great guys and very skilled and knowledgeable and they got it done in a day and half. Their work is side by side with another contractor from a couple years ago and MAC's work is so much cleaner and more professional. I highly recommend MAC HVAC.
Great efficient service. Mark was able to work around our schedule and Justin and the crew had the whole thing installed within 24 hours. Definitely worth every penny!
My Central air broke about 4 years ago. I hired a company to come out and diagnose the issue (not MAC). They came out and were here for about an hour and said “it could be a leak in the line or you may need a new unit”. They wanted to come back and charge me more to do a “full diagnosis” after I had already paid them to diagnose the issue. I didn’t bother having them come back because I felt like I was being ripped off so I never bothered to fix the AC. Fast forward 4 years and a hot summer, I decided to start looking for a new HVAC company. I asked for recommendations on a community page and started researching. MAC had the highest ratings so I went with them and I am so glad I did. Everyone was super nice, from the person answering the phones to the guys that came out to diagnose and the guys that came out to repair. Derek and Justyn spent almost 4 hours here to diagnose the issue and found the leak in the line, took pics of the leak to show me, and thoroughly explained what needed to be done and what my options were. I decided to have the repair done (it was time). Justin and Kevin did the repair and my AC is blasting cold air again! Long story short, I’m glad I found a new HVAC company that I can trust, highly recommended.
I found MAC HVAC from the Mitsubishi Diamond Preferred network while searching for a local company to provide a deep cleaning for a rental unit with 4 heads. The 2-man team was on time, respectful of keeping a "light footprint" in a rented unit during COVID, and leaving the place as clean or cleaner than they found it as part of their wrap up. I appreciated the fact they sought to understand my needs/requirements prior to scheduling the service, and showed up with the right people/equipment to get the job done, which was a very different experience I recently had with another provider in the area. I highly recommend MAC HVAC for Mitsubishi mini-split installs and maintenance, as well as their other areas of expertise!
We had them come and install a new ductless AC unit this past Monday and we are very pleased! Mark and his team were on time and made sure everything was working and running smoothly for us before they left. I highly recommend this company for any HVAC needs you have! You will not be disappointed!
I have hired MAC HVAC twice now to install 2 mini-split systems. So I'll say this: the product is the product, it's a Mitsubishi mini-split which you can get anywhere - it's who installs it that matters. To me, it's MAC HVAC. If you're looking for responsiveness, honesty, and the highest quality work possible you don't need to do any research - just hire MAC HVAC. You're process is simple: contact them and you'll hear back within hours, not days. You'll have a free visit to talk options maybe even the next day. You'll receive your quote within the week, and in my case, have the full installation done a couple days after that. You're talking 1.5 weeks from the first inquiry to installation. On top of that, their work is incredibly clean and professionally done. They'll even talk you through every feature of your product when they're done. GO MAC HVAC. Thank you!
MAC HVAC should be your first call when you have a problem with your heating and cooling. They are very responsive and show up when they say they will. We had an intermittent problem with our unit and I appreciate that they didn't jump to the most expensive repair option but rather followed a logical, structured approach to isolate the problem. Danilo is very courteous, knowledgeable, and determined to make sure you are 100% satisfied.
Had no heat out of nowhere and was expecting a cold spell. Called and they came in an hour. Danilo was the man!
