If you take your project serious, these are the folks for the job. They do it well and do it right! Knowledgeable staff from first contact to last.
The installation department and the service department are separate so I only got the typical “finger pointing.”And this place doesn't warranty their products.
I don’t understand how this people have license when they don’t have idea what the doing
I was extremely pleased with General Contractors. My air conditioner died during the heat wave a few weeks ago. Mike sent out the hvac tech right away, diagnosed the problem and ordered the parts needed asap with my quote within a day. I live in a condo with all the compressor on the roof-needed a crane to replace it. They then needed to replace the condenser in my condo- in a very small area above the laundry. His staff were wonderful, kind, explained everything to me. They did a wonderful job. I recommend them highly.

Josh and Zack are very professional. Came in and installed our vent system. Very polite and courteous, and the quality of the vent holes and placement of the system was great. Would recommend for any of ur heating cooling needs.
For a high quality install or repair, you can't go wrong. Great follow up until and after the job is done.
My company
My central air recently broke (again this month), which also happened to be a 90 degree day. In a panic (inside of the house was 84degrees at 9am), I decided to call General Mechanical rather than this other kid that my landlord sent the last 2x. Although they were booked for the day, they said they would try to make it that day but definately by the next morning. The service guy, Justin, called me at 1:45 and was there at 2pm...that day! (Phew). Justin spent an hour looking for every possible and alternate problem, even after finding the first major problem he didn't stop there (opposed to the other company that came for 10minutes just to add freeon and neglected other possible issues). He found that the electrical wires inside the unit were exposed and were obviously a huge fire risk. At the end of it all, I had cold air (thank god), I found out multiple problems- because he went above and beyond (true customer care which unfortunately isn't found often anymore), and get this...I paid less than half of what the previous company charged. I'd recommend General Mechanical HVAC to anyone. A+ for quality care, great prices, efficient, and same day service!
