This is our first home with an HVAC system and MSM will be our preferred maintenance provider of our household's systems! They not only were very responsive and made it easy to schedule work, when they were at our house they were very professional and walked us though a 'how-to' on our new systems. I highly recommend MSM!
Mainstream did a boiler/hot water heater replacement for me. They did a fabulous job and the unit they installed is amazing. Great company, great people. The experience was so good that we just signed up for central air with them.

Our furnace heating element failed and Main Stream Mechanical was very prompt in scheduling a service call and when I decided to replace my old furnace they scheduled the replacement installation immediately. The installers led by Nick were prompt, efficient and did a professional installation in the time frame estimated. They left my home spotless and warm. I have been using them for years and will continue to do so.
I have used Main Stream for the past 9 years in two different homes. They are responsive, professional, knowledgable, and thorough. I use them for all of my heating, air conditioning and general plumbing needs.
I found the office personnel very friendly, reassuring, confident, and responsive. The tech arrived just prior to the promised time. I found the tech very knowledgeable, courteous, and thorough. I have confidence that my heating system will function better than when it was initially installed, by another company. The tech explained to me that the system was improperly tuned and he corrected it. He had to replace a part that should have been replaced by the previous company. I contacted MSM because I lost confidence in my previous service provider, I am now entirely confident in the repairs made and the service performed. Even my garage heater was improperly setup and now I am confident it will be much more efficient. This afternoon the heat came on and for the first time the baseboards were warm. I can only imagine what improvements to my A/C they will make in the spring.

Main Stream Mechanical is the best. They had quite a puzzle to solve with our newly installed (not by them) HVAC system. The technician who came out went above and beyond the scope of his job when the source of the issue was not easily attainable. He made sure that all avenues were exhausted and finally, after using a scope camera, discovered the origins of the issue. He quoted me a price on the fix (after conferring with his supervisor) but, then did the best thing - he told me that it would be better for me to go back to the company who installed the system and get them to fix it, as they should take pride in their work and should do it for free as the system was installed as part of a new build and just done recently. I found this to be a great gesture - to do what is best for the customer rather than worry about every dollar that could be made. That alone will have me using Main Stream Mechanical as my HVAC vendor now and in the future. The problem was fixed by the installing company but, none of it would have been possible without the professionalism and care of MSM.
I had a plumbing issue that could have turned into a real nightmare, real quick. I contacted John and he set me up with someone who came out and stopped a leak almost immediately and probably saved my ceiling. The price was incredibly reasonable also. Fast forward a couple months my mini split system stopped working so I reached out to John again and within days they had come out, diagnosed the problem, ordered the parts, and repaired the entire system. Couldn’t give any higher praise to this business if I tried, they’re super fast, highly efficient, and everyone who works for them are genuinely nice people.
The office staff is friendly and helpful, and the technicians always throughly explain their findings and answer any questions I may have. Great service!

I called and asked to have a technician come to my home to look into the source of water dripping into my garage ! Joe from Main Streert Mech..immediately with 15 minutes diagnose dthe situation AND responded the next day to remedy it !!!
Mainstream Mechanical performed repairs on my central AC system and also on my tankless heat and hot water system. Every touch point from making the appointments to having their Technicians in our home was simple and very pleasant. The entire staff is professional, pleasant and highly efficient. It was a pleasure to do business with them and I would highly them to everyone.
Our experience with Mainstream began with a request for pricing to change from oil to gas and AC. Eric (Mainstream) was the only vendor who both gave us the feeling of being a partner in the bid discussions and also, who knew what he was doing. Over the years we are satisfied with both the quality of the product installed and the service provided. We indeed recommend Main Stream.
I was dreading having my nearly 20-year-old gas furnace replaced but Main Stream Mechanical made it easy and painless. I was able to use Mass Save's HEAT Loan and furnace rebate program and Brenda helped me learn what to expect, and she was super communicative about scheduling and the entire furnace replacement process. The technicians who did the replacement were all polite and respectful. Overall, this was a great experience and I definitely recommend Main Stream Mechanical.

Great service from the start. Erik came to my house to provide information about the product. He was very knowledgeable, and answered all my questions. Technicians did a great job in the installation, keeping me updated on the progress as I was working at home. They even braved the April nor'easter storm, to get as much done before it was unsafe to be up on a ladder. Nick took the time to explain how the system worked when all was complete. Very happy with the job!
