I have been using multiple handyman services and companies over the past 13 years of living in my current townhome and I've never had the kind of great experience like I did today with Michael & Sons. Porfirio Argueta was my technician and went above and beyond to take care of an issue I needed to have done in a timely manner to pass a county code inspection. Porfirio was extremely professional, kind, and respectful of my home (I appreciated him using the shoe protectors in my house for sure). He was in and out within 1 1/2 hours and that counted him leaving to go and get additional materials needed. This guy is the John Wick of plumbers seriously one of the best and most professional experiences I've ever had. Thank you Michael & Sons and thank you Porfirio for your professionalism and being a true authentic craftsman. -Tim
Technician was prompt and knew exactly what to do. Wasted no time fare estimation tools and apparently a really good CRM system that keeps their customers really informed of what’s going on. The only thing I would say that is a Negative is the fact that he use electrical tape to hold the clear PVC tube that had to run into the sump pump but at the end of the day it’s my basement. I’m not really hanging out there.
I had a cast iron drain line rot under my basement floor. The crew at Michael and Sons arrived quickly and came up with a plan. The crew was very professional and the gentleman handling the concrete work did a fantastic job leveling out my floor.
3 weeks and 2 techs later I am living in a house where the temperature is 87 and I have bronchial asthma. They came out twice and didn't help. I missed my holiday to wait for a tech who was supposed to arrive between 8:30 and 10:30 am July 3rd. I received an email and text ar 10:01 am to say the tech called out. They scheduled my for today to find the leak. He tells me the problem and say he cannot fix it until another tech is scheduled to come and give me several pricing options then I will have to schedule someone to come and install. I asked the tech to put me through to his manager. He gets on the call and tells me he is busy but he will see what he can do. I had to pay over $300 for them to show up and find the leak and am still without air and waiting for a new bill to be presented. This company is awful.
Technician was extremely knowledgeable and he was able to relay information in ways that were digestible for me to understand. He was thorough in explaining all aspects of financing options. Patient and professional. He explained every phase of the work that needed to be completed. Excellent “people” skills. Thank you Ted Westwood.
Or was on time and took care pf everything and then some. Our basement flooded and knocked out the sump pump and hot water heater. He looked everything over gave us a quote and revenue arranged for M&S restoration tech to come out the same day to go I’ve is an estimate. Emailed everything so all I had to do was forward to my insurance adjuster. Thank you Ro for explaining everything and helping us bring our 50+ year old home up to code.
Our technician, David, was great. He was very professional, efficient, and offered many solutions for the problem we had. Would recommend Michael&Son and the technician we had to anyone!
Michael and Sons is our go-to for HVAC and plumbing in Canton. They are quick, responsive, and get the job done right. Darryl came out the afternoon before 4th of July and stayed 3 hours to get the job done when my leaky shower and stubborn faucet wouldn't stop. We told him he could call it a night, but he graciously stayed long to ensure the job was done right. Cannot recommend enough!
As usual Michael &Son Service came through for me. The wait time was not long. I appreciate the continued updates for the appointment. The technician was excellent. Thank you again!!!
I was very disappointed on your service because the information that was given could have been explained about your set-up cost on the phone. Your service person told me you had to set up calls before you even considered installing my wiring for my security light which to me were extremely costly because after you add in your known cost then you were going to charge me for any extra wiring or installation of my unit you had this hidden cost that we could have talked about on the phone so as far as I'm concerned I don't know how I can justify using you anymore and you are just taking a service fee for coming out when you knew and no that people probably would not accept the attic cost that you are putting on them in my view.
On a Friday, about noon, I discovered our sewer line was clogged. I was able to get an appointment with Michael & Son for late that afternoon. Sherman arrived about 4:30, and by 6:30pm everything was working again, and the bathroom was left in good condition. Very professional, swift, and prompt. I recommend Michael & Son!

Fantastic. I had to replace our Air conditioner. Out of 7 bids theirs was the best option for us, not the cheapest but best fit for us. Marvin was great. We signed the paperwork and got it installed the next day.
Plummer was very good. However, Michael & Sons fixed pricing is extremely high. A two hour task less supplies cost $400/hr. Replaced the two turn off valves (hot & cold) ,, valve box for washing though achine , four inches of copper tubing. I will have repair all the drywall damage from the work at my own expense - was told this upfront.
Tech arrived on time. Diagnosed problem as a cracked water filter housing. Provided estimate to replace $1,100. Took a total of 3 hours. Part cost $40 dollars. Not happy with the price. They knew they had me over a barrel, on a Sunday, no water, Sr citizens, etc. Should have booked a motel and waited until Monday. On line estimates were less than 1/2 for a scheduled replacement. My Bad.
Called Micheal and Sons last night for a leak. They were actually early to the appointment. Adam was very professional and did not leave until the job was done. Which ended up being a little more than we thought. Would hire them again in a heartbeat!
Electrician Keyon Foster was AMAZING!!! He did a GREAT JOB! He kept me informed the whole time very knowledgeable and respectful young man! This is my rental property and I've never used this company before but from my experience I will definitely use them again and will recommend when I can just like my cousin recommended the company to me! Thank you again for your service!
Juan was great at solving our main water valve which wouldn't turn off all the way. He was able to fix the snapped off metal water line on floor to commode. Our water company wasn't able to shut off the supply this evening and will be out tomorrow to turn it off so Michael and Son can install a new valve for better operation tomorrow. Juan set up and scheduled an appt the following day to complete the job. He was polite, receptive and explained everything that needed to be done.

I usually do not write reviews for any company and service. But this company, Michael and son, made me to write it because of its devastating service (A/C issues). So, I am taking my time to review this company in detail, step by step. The owner and the new customers should also know about this. This company does not even deserve this 1 star that I am giving. Service: This is the major part. The technician came in to look my AC system and, he could not figure out the problem in my AC system. So, he tried to sell me a new unit and also their home care service, which I rejected. After that, he pointed out that there is a problem in fan motor. They suggested me to replace fan motor. Then I told them to replace the fan motor if that will resolve the issue. They gave me quote of $845 just for replacing the fan motor which is ridiculously high (In my research; that motor costs no more than $200). In my case; I had an urgency to repair the AC, because my wife was 8months pregnant at that time and temperature was above 80F that week. So, I told them to replace the motor even though the cost seemed high. They ordered the motor and took 10 days to arrive. And after the part was arrived, they gave me an appointment a week after. After a week, they replaced the motor. However, it did not fix the problem. And again; the technician told me that the TXV (a valve) is not working. It needed to be inspected by an TXV expert technician. So, I needed to make another appointment for inspection of TXV. They gave me an appointment a week after. But the technician did not show up on the appointment day. I called in several times, and after few days, they sent a technician. Then the TXV expert inspected the AC system and told me that the TXV valve needs to be replaced. They gave me a quote of $1800 which seemed quite higher (In my research, the parts itself for TXV cost no more than $200). Since I was in urgency, I accepted the repair cost and told them to fix as soon as possible. They ord
