The technician was clean, friendly, very informative and remembered us from last year's AC check!
Air conditioner stopped working the Sunday before July 4. Billy was out to inspect the issue within a few hours. He provided tips on how to baby the system along until the next day when the replacment parts would be available. Twenty four hours later Billy was back with parts in tow and had us up and running a short time later. We have been using Stivers since 2007. They continue to earn our business with every call, whether seasonal maintenance or when the unforeseen issue arises.
So I have to say, that in this day and age, when quality work and quality workers are hard to find, Stivers provided both. When I met Bill, I knew I made the right choice. He didn't try to sell me what I didn't need. He told me what we would need for best efficiency and explained in detail what work would be required to provide us with the best results and experience. Bill is the one of the most humble and patient people I have ever met. His concern and patience with all my questions was very evident . On top of that, he is a very hard worker and has earned the respect of all those around him, including me. James is extremely knowledgeable in all he does and is very patient with any questions we had. Hard working and very efficient in ensuring we received the best quality work and product. I felt very confident with James doing the work that needed to be done. We had a very old system that required alot of electrical work in order for our new system to function right. I honestly don't know if I would have trusted any other company to do the work that they did. Not as well or as efficient. We were truly blessed to have chosen Stivers to install our new unit. I trusted them in and around our home and honestly by the time they left It felt like family. Billy, the youngest of the crew was a delight and an inspiration for the younger generation. He's hard working and efficient and just an all around good young man. He gave me hope that not all is lost with the younger generation. All in all I would have to say that my experience with Stivers was phenomenal. Look. You can go to a big major company for your work BUT if you want quality products and the very very best service money can buy. Stivers is the place to go for all your needs. They've been around over 70 years for a reason. In closing I want to say that I normally don't make comments this soon after the work is done. Stivers has always been quick to respond when a need arose. Their employees work hard and fast and they always address what is wrong, trying to solve my issues without trying to add to my cost more than necessary.

My parents used Stivers before I moved back to Louisville and I have been using them, myself, for close to 30 years. They are always prompt and courteous. We maintain a service contract and they have installed several new systems for us through the years. I highly recommend them.

They were very responsive when I called for an AC issue. I was given an appointment in 2 days. Service Man was awesome. We decided we should replace our old system with a new one. But was given all the pricing options before our decision. Highly recommend!

We have been customers of Stivers for years and they perform semiannual furnace and AC checks. On this service call the AC had stopped working. Billy was able to come out the same day we called and diagnosed the problem as a short in the wire from the AC to the furnace. He returned on Monday to run new wire and restored the AC. Thanks to the Stivers family for always taking of our heating and AC needs.
Stivers was recommended to me when I first moved to Louisville and I've never even thought of switching to another HVAC company in the past 17 years.
