I am so pleased with the new AC/ unit our comfort level is 1000% the installers were professional and nice I wish I could remember thier names they had to travel to get a replacement for the new item that were needed they truly went out of their way to exchange the part that was damaged shame on ACE hardware in the Portland neighborhood the guys traveled all the way to the Bardstown road location to retrieve the much needed part awesome job to the McGinnis employees, thanks 😊 R.HILL

McGinnis Heating and Cooling built my HVAC system from the ground up. Very professional. Affordable. And was done in no time! The entire staff was professional and knowledgeable. I recommend them to everyone!
I really appreciate everything McGinnis has done for my family we were without heat for quite a while and I know how things can get quite busy but I appreciate them for coming over and installing our new Linux heating I appreciate these guys I have no complaints whatsoever I'm just glad and thankful to God that we have heat now thanks to McGinnis

My homeowners insurance used them and they were HORRIBLE!!! NOT PROFFESIONAL! JANKIE!! And do not return your calls!!! They came out monday and dude flat out told us he didnt know what was wrong or how to fix it. He said hed come back out Tuesday w his boss. Tuesday came my heat came back on then 2 days later it cut back off. I called the number on my invoice which happend to be the owners number and hes rude asking “why I called his number and not the office” I called the office ashley gives you the run around saying she gone try and get someone out there then doesnt return your call. So now We’re stuck w no heat over the weekend w a newborn!! They’re in bad standing I don’t even know why they’re being used!
Same as the other person, my home warranty sent them after my ac quit they came to my house 5 times and on the 5th time took my parts with them. I called my home warranty and they sent another company out and they fixed it in 45 minutes and works great. I do not know what is wrong with this company but they waisted my time and theirs. Would never recommend and I feel for anyone who would have to go through what I did. But one thing I can say is they always spoke nice and professional but that is the best way to screw someone over.
I called 3 or 4 other heating and cooling companies neither of them answered the phone but when I gave McGinnis heating and cooling a call they answered the phone. When I told the gentleman what issues I was having I understood when I called it was late and he probably couldn’t stop by to see what the problem. But the gentleman took the time out of his lunch/dinner break to walk threw the steps while on the phone to fix my situation. So if I had to recommend a heating/cooling company I wouldn’t think twice on who to call. McGinnis heating and cooling is who I’m calling because I know their going to take care of me. Thank you I appreciate it!!!!!
I had gotten quotes from two major HVAC companies in the thousands of dollars. McGinnis Heating and cooling diagnosed and fixed the problem for a few hundred dollars. I later had them install a ductless hvac system in a rental apartment.

Their customer service was excellent. They were able to come out at a time available for me. The price was reasonable. Just great service.
I was assigned this company by our home warranty when our AC stopped working. They came out and said that it was fixed, but after they left it never came back on again. We scheduled another time for them to come back and they never showed or called letting me know they wouldn’t be there. I called again and scheduled another appointment which was two days later and again they didn’t show up and didn’t call to let me know they wouldn’t be there. That was two days I had to get off of work early to be there for them and they didn’t even show up. I ended up getting a hold of the owner and he told me that I should just find another contractor to come fix our AC. I did not like they way this company treated me and I would not recommend them to anyone.
McGinnis is absolutely wonderful! They came out immediately, did a great job and I have thoroughly enjoyed working with them as I am a single mom and they made certain the children and I had heat on a cold winter day. I cannot state enough my appreciation for their work! I greatly recommend using their HVAC services you might need. I especially enjoyed working with Mr. McGinnis himself and his office manager, Ashley. Both so nice, kind, and knowledgeable. They really care about their customers!❤️
