I have been around construction and plumbing for over 42 years, so a hardware store was my first toys-R-us. This hardware store brought me back to 1974. Dad would ask for something, and the owner ( the place was family owned and operated) would tell me where it was.. they had everything. A true one-stop shop. Here is a game I used to play. Go to anyplace selling Supplies. And see how many isles you can wonder and name everything! I can wreck plumbing..lumber..Electric...and more... this place is a great challenge!

I love everyone that works there. They know what will happen if you dont use this or that and what will happen when you use it. Great team work, personal with the. customer. Love going to Lowes but love going here to find out the correct way do fix something. Worth the trip

Love all the staff this is more like a family environment if your from and live in Portland. They are always very helpful in making sure you get exactly what you need for the job your doing. There has been times I simply got the wrong size bolt or something and I’ve went back and we got it taken care of. Also best place to get your HVAC vents in the city without paying an arm and leg. Trust Janes Brothers for all your hardware and home needs. Future reference just make sure you have your measurements correct when you go in to replace things like windows and drywall . Good prices on paint and glass replacement too..

Very rude staff. Did not care to speak while I was in the store, I HAD to speak twice to the man just for a response. The man did not want to help me, nor did I feel welcomed at all at. Please spend your money elsewhere.
