We’ve had Thompson come out twice since purchasing our new home. They installed an exterior dryer vent and most recently hvac install. Chris, sales, was amazing and personable, never felt pressured or that he was selling me something more expensive just because. Josh and Andrew came and installed our new system and they were on time, professional, communicative, and nice as can be. Will continue to use Thompson in the future.
Hands down the best group of workers and company. We did 4 quotes for a new system and Thompson gave us the best quote. Other 3 businesses were much larger companies. These guys showed up when they said they would and worked tirelessly installing our new system. Our gas heat is in a cramped attic so not a simple task to say the least. But these guys got it done. And they cleaned up their mess as though they were never here. We would be absolutely happy to work with them again.
Great experience from beginning to end. Andrew and Josh were professional and easy to work around in our home all day. We hope we don’t have any issues but feel that the service will be top notch if we do. Thanks for warming us up and cooling us down!
The tech that came out to repair our upstairs unit was very professional, knew what he was doing and saved us a bundle by not having to replace the unit! They do a nice job!
My husband and I purchased our first home in July of this year. Shortly after moving in, we had some issues with our AC . Thompson was recommended to us through a very good friend of mine, since the 1st day we contacted them, they have gone ABOVE AND BEYOND to take care of our issues. Thompson Heating & Cooling were considerate, professional, and courteous. Laid down clothes to not track any dirt or wetness on the carpet. Tested the system before leaving and answered all of our questions. Even vacuumed up their mess!
Mike came out on call to our properties this Saturday and was incredibly helpful in helping to assess our situation and get us back on track. The response time was quick, the service was professional and I'd highly recommend Mike and this company to anyone looking for reliable, top tier service.
They helped me with a problem that nobody else has been able to. Even my home warranty! This is something that I’ve dealt with for over a year and countless people in my house trying to figure it out. It took them an hour and a half to diagnose and fix the problem.
Right on time for my check-up appointment as usual, with a call ahead as well. Greg was very professional, letting me know of things to watch for with my AC and Furnace unit.

We have used Thompson for the 20 years that we have lived at this house. They have always been responsive to our needs and have performed PM on our system twice a year. I am especially impressed with service of Greg Dowling. He has always been very thorough and explains what he is doing.
The worst company I have ever had to waste my money on. Their salesman made made promises about their commitment of customer service and everything was a lie. He said if you are not happy they will replace your system. I was not happy from day one bc this $7500 new system would not even cool my bedroom. Then later I found out that they put in a gas heat system when I asked for electric bc I had just been blown up in a natural gas explosion. They still wouldn't do anything about it. Now I just found them lying about this 10 year labor and parts warranty. They don't want to cover labor after 2 years. They told me I would have to pay for any service calls for 10 years. I make one service call and they want to charge me $90. What is wrong with you people. Zero percent commitment to promises made . their own slogan is a lie. I won't give them another penny of my money and I can't wait to see you in court bc u are horrible
The technician was thorough, prompt, and shared details to help me understand what he was doing and why. I also appreciate the extra touches of getting an automated text when they were en route. All in all, it was a good experience.
They pulled a bait and switch on price. On the phone they said it would be $80 to send out a tech to diagnose the problem. This was great and $20 less than their competitors. But they also said the tech would review the options and price for repair before proceeding. That didn't happen and when the tech came up he handed me a $340 bill.

They owned error one of the JR service techs made on a prior maintenance service and corrected it without any questions.
We have used Thompson’s for years and have always been happy with their service. However, today, technician Chris went above and beyond while servicing our A/C. He did an excellent job maintaining our unit, but he also allowed my 8 year-old son to shadow him. Chris answered my son’s questions and listened to his stories with such patience. He did this all after being stung by a wasp almost as soon as he arrived. I can’t recommend Thompson’s enough and I really appreciate Chris’ kindness.
They replaced my AC unit and did other work inside the home. Nothing but positive things to say about this business.
My furnace system stop heating and with the age of almost 21 years. It was wiser to replace than repair. As for my air conditioner it was already going on 6 years. So with the different options that was provided by Thompson I decided I would come out better in the long run with the quality , warranty , and maintenance they provided of having the comfort of heating and air needed with better efficiency . I did compare pricing with another company for the same work . It was pretty much the same . With that Thompson was eager to please and to keep my business did offer me a little bit better toward the maintenance cost.
