We called for a repair of our central air unit, we ended up having to have a whole new HVAC system Christopher was very good explained everything to us. He was very knowledgeable. We scheduled only a few days later for install of a new HVAC system Chris explained everything and we felt very comfortable with the whole situation. We had Tekhne Good Guy Jason Smalley come out for the Good Guys A/C tune up special. He found a burned wire on a failing capacitor that was 8 years old and at the end of its life. He replaced the capacitor and wire, and saved us from an emergency call when the unit would have undoubtedly failed at the peak of the cooling season. Thank you Jason Smalley and Tekhne Good Guys!!

I was throughly impressed with Michael and his genuine professionalism during our initial phone conversation to schedule an appointment. He asked specific questions regarding my issue and asked my preferred availability-how often does that happen? He understood the criticality of my issue (no AC) and offered to take a look on Father’s Day! Understanding it is a special day, Michael said he did not mind stopping by first thing in the AM. Incredible customer service. He completed his full analysis and suggested 3 options based on the outcome and my available budget. Just impressive. Needless to say, I am going with Michael and Good Guys to get my new AC installed! Highly recommend this company and Michael!

I have used Good Guys services almost since Johnny started his business. The church needed the air conditioner serviced. Johnny’s uncle heard us talking and recommended Good Guys. We were very satisfied with the swift service and excellent quality of workmanship and professionalism. They replaced our outside unit and put in some ductwork They have recently replaced the thermostat. I have used them for my home services also. I replaced my furnace and added central air. I have recommended them to others. I won’t use any other services.

Called my warranty company every day for a week to get these guys out here and there must be some bad communication in between the two parties because the warranty company would say one thing and then the other. They handled their business well when we finally got a solid line of communication between us.

I am currently using the HVAC service of the company that installed my unit. However, after having questionable service and response. I called Good Guys. Sebastian Cosio, arrived as my service tech from Good Guys. Sebastian listen to my issue tested my HVAC system and took care of the problem. At each step he explained his findings and how the system should be responding. I can't say enough about Sebastian's knowledge and his willingness to explain his findings to me. I was very happy with my service from Good Guys and would recommend their service.

Update 20230609 Again great service, M Parsons checked furnace condenser drain flow, cleaned unit Update 20221022: Good Guys Matt Parsons overachieved again. Found a water leak in the furnace evaporator (?) pressure relief box that was spilling over into the catch pan that I hadn't noticed. He explained the purpose of the evaporator pressure relief box, its normal routine maintenance need during annual furnace check. Fortunately I had a spare available when I had tried to fix a humidifier drain leak myself and bought it, and Matt replaced the device and properly also its elbow pvc pipe for the drain without any question as part of the maintenance call. As we have two furnaces, he checked the other's box and found it to be almost clogged as I don't recollect any prior non-Good Guys company (that I had used for 25+ years) ever removing/cleaning the device for annual furnace maintenance, or even mentioning it. Matt also explained my questions regarding if an electronic air filter is worth installing by responding the different types/styles and thickness of all types of filters including basic 1' thick, 4' thick, and electronic so I could decide which is best for our house. He described what Good Guys installation would be for a thicker width air filter versus an electronic. He also did something else I don't recollect any other company's tech ever told me was being done, which i think was checking the electrical capacitance (ok I might not remember the exact term but something like that) of the gas ignitor and advising if it was near end of life as it had to be replaced before a couple of times when it burned out. He said it was showing normal wear but nothing to be concerned with, and he said visually what would be found on the ignitor as indications of wear. Reasonably, he did say our furnaces' lives have 7 years past the normal units' expectancies and to be prepared if something unreasonably cost replacement surfaces what the rough cost might be for entire

The two techs I've worked with so far, Eric and Jason, have been great. They are knowledgeable, prompt, and professional. They explain things well, offer suggestions, and make service a priority over selling products. Helped me maintain my (~20 year old) original system as long as I could before helping me replace heat pump and furnace. These really are "good guys" to have working on your heating or cooling.
