I submitted a service request for AC repair via Home Depot and a gentleman from ARS contacted me over phone. He promised me a deal with $79 diagnose fee and parts fee only for the repair, which I confirmed with him twice over phone. Later, a lady from ARS contacted me for updating appointment time. She said the diagnose fee will be waived if I go with the repair with them but I’ll need to talk to the technician to figure out the parts and labor fees for the repair. Finally, a technician called me before coming and said I would need to pay a $99 diagnose fee and $311 parts and labor fee for replacing the capacitor in AC’s outside unit. I asked him about the previous pricing I got from their phone calls, and he said if I didn’t have proof in writing, I would need to pay what he said. These communications were absolutely ridiculous and wasted my time as everyone had a different saying. I cancelled this appointment immediately and will never use ARS. Future customers should be aware that whatever pricing you get over phone may not be true.

I called to verify what I was getting for the $69 special. I let them know I wanted my ac cleaned; inside and out. Crs Anthony confirmed this is what I would get. The service man said he cleans out side and assures the check all the pressures and temp. A bit disappointing. Wasted my money. Still don't know how it will run after full cleaning. Service guy said tune up was performed and only a partial cleaning. Outside only.

I had to have a new central air unit installed. Not only were they on time, they were professional. Both the salesman and the installers walked me through my new unit explaining everything to me. After talking to the salesman we decided to put in a new furnace as well. My house has stayed at the right temperature despite the hot days we have had.

Rick replaced my outdoor water faucet, but not before he replaced the indoor piping & shut off valves. The piping was kinked in 2 places (could have burst & flooded my basement - which is a finished basement!!). He could have told me I’d have to remove the wall paneling so he could easily access the problem, maybe someone less experienced would have, but he worked around the problem & methodically replaced the bad piping & left my wall intact!! I was so pleased with his knowledge & experience, his dedication & how he worked thru the obstacles to get everything working & completed👍👍 I told Rick he was a wizard & a Houdini!! He was very respectful of myself & my property & cleaned everything up like it was before he came! Rick is an asset to ARS & I’m very glad he came to my rescue today😉

I had a brand new heater and AC installed in 2021...fast forward to now and we're remodeling our bathroom in the basement to find they ran their lines through our wall frames around the shower stall. There's exposed wire outside that isn't up to code and they want to charge me $2500 to come and reroute these lines and fix the wires so we can install a new shower. They told me this after jacking me around for 2 weeks of waiting on an answer...If it had been done right in the first place this wouldn't even be an issue. I'll take my business elsewhere for future jobs.

ARS/Rescue Rooter installed completely new HVAC system less than two weeks ago. Despite talk about how they "support" new systems like this, the manager was rude over the phone, blamed us for changing some deeply layered system setting and then they billed us on top of it. Unscrupulous behavior. Overpriced, schmoozy, and unprofessional. I even wonder if they fleeced us about needing to replace the existing system which was from them... not even ten years old. Learn from my mistakes and stay away from these people.

The installation is very professional looking for working with an old house. AC needing a little adjustment. They sent 2 troubleshooters out and had the problem diagnosed and fixed in about 90 minutes. I would recommend using them.

I have used ARS for all my heating, cooling and plumbing needs for the last 3 years. I have never been let down and I’m always treated like a valued customer from making the appointment to completing the necessary work. Today, Austin came out to clear a clogged drain. He was very humble and explained everything clearly. He set reasonable expectations and while the price was more than initially quoted, I didn’t get the impression that he was trying to “hustle” me on the price. In all reality, I kinda feel like he went above and beyond and for that I would like to say “thank you” again!

I had ARS excavate my underground water shutoff valve and install a new pvc pipe so I was able to shut off my water at the curb. The old access pipe was broken, rusted out and not usable. I used the Angi website to describe the job and they referred me to ARS. My first contact with ARS was with Shawn who looked at the job and quoted the pricing. The work was scheduled very efficiently and the 2 employees who arrived were very talented and knowledgeable. In about 1 1/4 hours everything was completed to my satisfaction. The two workers were very friendly and considerate and I enjoyed working with Shawn. I would definitely use them again and highly recommend them.

We purchased a new HVAC system from ARS and have had nothing but trouble with it. Within the first month of installation we had to have it repaired three different times due to it being installed incorrectly. The staff were all very nice, but we are very disappointed and have considered having them take it out and get our money back.
