Matt is the best HVAC tech I've hired. I had another company come out to look at my furnace because they were available the soonest and the guy told me after a 10-15 minute inspection that it needed a new $900 control board. (He also suggested I might want to buy a new furnace from him—surprise). I said no thanks and called AirTech. Matt took his time looking over every inch of the furnace to properly diagnose and fix the issue and it's now back to normal. AirTech also called the next morning to check in and make sure everything is still working properly. Some other companies just want to take your money. AirTech cares about their customers. They will get the job done right at a fair price. I won't hire anyone else.
My furnace had started to make a buzzing sort of noise. I called a couple heating and AC companies around town. Air-tech was the most responsive and most reasonably priced. They were awesome. They were on time, communicative and very helpful. Here's an example of what I mean. I was busy and so I had to schedule them to come the following day, but I was a little worried if it was safe to run the furnace till then. They had me video the furnace running, and then email it to them, then let me know if they thought it was safe or not. Above and beyond helpful. I would highly recommend them.
Air -Tech is outstanding. The service was above what I was expecting. They told me what time they would be here and they was. They all work hard and got my new furnace and air installed and I am very satisfied. I would highly recommend them
I recently purchased a house, and was having an issue with getting the furnace to work.. Contacted the original installer's, general installer's, AirTech, they promptly came out fixed what was the issue, at no charge to me. I recommend them to anyone who needs heating and air service
We've used Air-Tech for our HVAC maintenance for over 15 years and have been very pleased with their service, attention to detail, and fair prices. Our heat pump recently stopped cooling just as the August heat wave set in. I called the emergency number on a Saturday morning and Chad was at my house within an hour to assess the problem. The unit was 17 years old and needed to be replaced. They gave a competitive quote and had the replacement in and running by Wednesday. Thanks for your prompt and professional service!
It was the day of a major snowstorm in February 2021. Our HVAC had stopped several time over the previous few days. We needed help. Our realtor Mrs. Lorraine Fowler of REMAX gave us couple of names. Mr. Matt Bomba, owner of Air-Tech, came over the same day we called * It was in the middle of a snowstorm but he did not charge extra (some other companies gave us appointment the following week or offered to send one on an emergency basis at considerably higher charges). * He spent 45 minutes doing a thorough servicing. Competent, efficient work. * Patiently explained everything to us. Then he quickly drove off to his next appointment. * No issues with the HVAC since then. * IU alum. Wife works in IU. Matt owns his business.
Service is prompt, professional and a fair price.
My air conditioning quit working right when it was getting hot. I contacted Air-Tech through email and assumed it would be at least a week before they could come out. Carmen called me and said she could have a tech out that day. Not only was the tech there that day, but 5 minutes earlier than promised. He ran some tests and figured out that there was a tiny fracture in the line that supplies coolant to the system. He showed me the leak and said he could fix it on the spot with my permission. Although he said it may not take permanently, so far I've had zero issues and I'm so happy to have air conditioning again. This heat has been awful but my unit is keeping up and keeping my house cool. 10/10 would recommend.

I needed a complete HVAC unit replacement. I bid a couple of companies. Air-tech was the most complete, need-meeting, and fiscally sound decision of all the options reviewed. The job was lengthy and all their technicians were helpful and timely in getting the job done quickly and professionally. My family and I were very happy with the end result.
Fixed our air conditioning but they were not very respectful to our house. They dragged mud in on their shoes and after looking in our closets left all of our belongings out in a mess.
The new HVAC is fully armed and operational! Air Tech did an amazing job replacing my old R-22 air conditioner. They were very competitive price-wise, and the service was excellent and timely. I definitely recommend them!
Fixed my aging heat pump system twice (different issues). The repairs have lasted and bought me some much needed time. Will need to replace the system sometime soon, though. Very professional service. I will definitely call them when the time comes.
They've been in business for many years here in Bloomington customer service is great the quality of the workmanship is excellent and their prices are always Fair
