I agree with the other positive reviews, especially the most recent from Mr Grundy. Hoping they come through for me yet again today…awaiting a call back when they open.

We recently got the new furnace installation done through Discount Heating and Cooling and were very satisfied with their service. Special shout out to Doug Granata for his expert advice and going out of his way to give us a great customer experience. We will recommend Discount Heating and Cooling for HVAC systems.

During a recent cold snap the heat went out in my 99 year old’s mothers condo. My brother called and talked with the owner of Discount Heating for close to an hour late in the evening. He tried to help us get the furnace started remotely, but couldn’t. The owner diagnosed the problem over the phone, found the part in Michigan and had it shipped and installed the next day! Thank you for your over the top great service. You guys are the best!!!

I rarely if ever write reviews, but in the case of Discount Heating & Cooling I feel the need to do so. I have been relying on "Discount" for over 25 years now and as I reflect upon that time, they have never let me down. Steve and Doug are hard working, very honest servicemen and they are also the owners. Give Discount a call and most likely Sandy will answer the phone. She is always very kind and helpful, even at 6:30 in the morning! She'll ask what time is good for you and she'll dispatch a service person so they arrive at the time they said they would. They always call about 15 minutes before arrival just to let you know they are on their way. Their trucks are immaculate and their workers are always knowledgeable and professional. The business as a whole is always quick and reliable. They never overbuild, nor over charge. If they say something is failing, or is broken, you can trust them. Unfortunately that's a rarity in this industry. The pricing is more than fair and the quality of work is excellent. As a long term customer, trust me when I say you can't go wrong with Discount Heating & Cooling.

They just installed a humidifier for me in a super tight closet… they got all the necessary materials and supplies to make the job go smoothly, it was a pleasure doing business with Doug & Joe from discount heating!

We had you come and clean our system when it was working fine. When you left the upstairs no longer worked. We asked you to come back and fix it, you said "No", not unless you pay us lots. No longer a customer.

I was referred by a friend that couldn't talk highly enough about Discount Heating & Cooling. I was told that I needed to replace my 7 year old system by another company and I called Discount Heating & Cooling for a second opinion. The office staff was extremely nice and helpful. I was scheduled and they were prompt and curtious. I didn't need a new system. I needed a repair that was rather inexpensive. Thank You to EVERYONE at Discount Heating & Cooling for all your help. My dad's 90 years old and still lives alone in Northbrook I called these guys up when I found out he was having problems with his air conditioning After explaining the situation to the lady on the phone they put me on the phone with a check and I tried to explain it more thoroughly they were over there the the next day repaired and cleaned the unit and also installed a Wi-Fi thermostat for me to be able to look at what's going on dad's place Thanks guys Jim P

Had to delete my review because they decided to be unprofessional and respond with my address and unit number. Unreal. You need change big time. They put in a new unit in 2020, but it leaked. The liquid line dryer they kept trying to repair kept leaking and they kept charging (I have receipts for proof) of spending almost 10k with them. They estimate quoted me saying it's my lines leaking of 4-5k. Had a second opinion who did uv light leak, vacuum, pressure and found nothing but in the coil they supposedly "fixed". The new hires fixed the issue and I have had no issues. If you want to trust these people go ahead. But as I just stated I had to delete my old review because they posted my address and unit number and lied. Pretty sick. Watch they do it again and have to delete it again. Just be honest and real.

Called this morning because my AC wasn't working. Joey came out found my problem brought new unit and installed within hours. Great guy super friendly.

When my AC stopped working I called Doug at discount heating. He returned call quickly Serviceman Joey arrived the next morning at 8am and was able to locate parts and install before noon. Really top notch response and Excellent service

I want to give a huge shout out to Jack for his professionalism and excellent customer service. I would highly recommend Jack for your air conditioning services. I would most definitely use him again.
