TDH folks are great and pros in the HVAC services they offer. Rolando was great, he came and serviced our AC condenser unit, and also addressed the inducer motor sound issues in the furnace unit, and their back office scheduled a follow up visit to replace the part. My experience with their team has been positive and I recommend that you try them as well.
So grateful to get a service call so quickly on this hot day. Rolando was knowledgable, professional, and thorough. Identified the problem quickly and fix it. Highly recommended.
Setting up an appointment was a breeze. This is the second time I used TDH. I emailed TDH on Saturday evening and set up the appointment for Monday afternoon. The technician came within the time window. Rolando did a great job accessing the issue and resolving it fairly quickly. He answered all my questions and did a great job. Thank TDH mechanical!
They cleaned my AC unit after another firm I had called left my unit dirty even though I had called for a AC cleaning and spring checkup. The other firm's technician claimed I had multiple things wrong with my unit and I needed to shell out a minimum of $600. And he then kept going by telling me I should get a package deal which guarantees certain things for $1600. I said no thanks and told him I'd be calling the firm that installed my unit. He then told me they aren't really supposed to clean a defective AC unit and he wasn't kidding as he did a terrible job of it. And this company's policy is that they no longer open the top of an AC unit to clean out all the leafs and debris.

Awrsome people to deal with. I hope they dont change like most companies that once they are done AND GOT PAID! You wont hear from them anymore. TDH is a professional company to deal with. They reach out to me even after the installation reminding me of my part to do.
I still haven't decided on a contractor but this quote is the best by far. This was also the most thorough estimate.
Jorge and Cesar were great and knowledgable installers and I had good interaction with them throughout the whole furnace installation process. I would highly recommend these guys and this company for any future HVAC needs.

Jorge and Cesar were as professional as they come. I appreciated that they explained what they were doing as they went through each step replacing the boiler in my home. They provided answers to all my questions and were able to remove my old boiler, install the new one, and get all the radiators bled and working all in one day! Exceptional service. Mark and Jesus came early, 7am, and worked for 10 hours to install my new furnace, upgrade the air duct, clean ducts. They are professional, courteous and friendly. They provided high quality workmanship.
Jose was a great technician. He came in at the promised time and did a fantastic job. Before replacing my old furnace with the new Trane model, he cleaned up the space, paid attention to small details - like the way my old PVC pipes were draining from AC unit, and replaced it with new and made the whole area much better to use and helped ensure that for the maintenance of the furnace, water heater and my humidifier all can be accessed easily . Jose thank you for your excellent service and the professional approach. I would strongly recommend TDH to anyone who asks me. Love the no nonsense way of doing business knowing I have 12 years of parts and labor warranty. Thanks again TDH team and special thanks to Jose.
Working with TDH Mechanical, Heating and Cooling was one of the best experiences I have had working with a contactor. They were quick to respond, provided me with a great price and excellent customer service. The service technicians that installed our new furnace and water heater were friendly, knowledgeable, put down tarps over the areas of flooring they needed to walk on and did a great job cleaning up after they were finished. We also received a call the day after our installation from someone that was just checking in to make sure everything was working properly and to see if we had any questions. I will definitely be referring them to the next person that asks me if I know of a good HVAC company.
We selected TDH Mechanical for our Multi-Unit Apartment Building in Aurora,IL after careful and methodical evaluation of 6 other Boiler HVAC Experts. Each of them evaluated our situation in detail just as TDH Mechanical did and proposed a solution/price. We selected TDH Mechanical for many reasons, and wanted to share with you in this open feedback/review forum. And yes, we read all of the reviews / feedback from all sources, and of course, and TDH Mechanical has a huge list of happy and satisfied customers, and here we are adding one strong one to his huge list. Based on our detailed set of questions regarding the installation, Tim personally got the Boiler installation expert to visit the site to answer all our specific questions, pipe-replacement-detail and that discussion instilled huge amount of confidence in us. Tim, also allowed us to clarify some of the matters via email to ensure full clarity of the proposed Boiler solution. We had a huge variation of answers from various HVAC experts including some out of the box, and completely out of bounds in terms of prices. Tim's team kept is simple, relevant, and proposed the best and most simplistic answer that would meet our specific requirements. Tim's style of management is instilled in his people from a work ethic, honesty & integrity, exact date of start as promised, timely show at the job site, no waste of time during the work-day, and timely finish without rushing. Mr. JIM Smiewec was first of 4 contractors who gave me fixed and great estimate.All others said..if u find the better price we will match it..etc. PLEASE NEVER EVER USE ABC.They estimated 80 percent higher price and also were rude...lol. I have a friend who owns a company but he was also 30 % over. I got my HVAC and new termostat and humidifier replaced today.Technicians were on time and professional and even changed power otulet for a tip they really deserved. Long story short.Please call TDH and do not worry.They also install TRANE that seems to be BEST system there is. Finally they oferred to install 120000 BTU for free upgrade but told me to stick with 100000 BTU as new systems are so much more efficient and also let me pay 50 % upfront and provided zero free financing for 18 months for the rest. 10 stars....!!! Everything from the initial proposal to installation was top notch with TDH. They do not try to sell products you do not need. I purchased a Trane 2 stage variable speed furnace, 3 ton condenser, Aprilaire humidifier and air cleaner for a reasonable price. The installation crew of Jose and Andres did an excellent job and answered all of my questions. I even had an opportunity to speak with Tim the owner who helped me decide to go with the Aprilaire 4 inch air cleaner as opposed to a standard 1 inch furnace filter. I will definitely use TDH for routine maintenance/service and highly recommend this company. I would like to add this company has an excellent response time. Other companies I contacted did NOT even respond to the request for a quote via phone or email.TDH had the products in stock and were able to schedule the install quickly. Very impressed with TDH's customer service.I never write reviews but felt compelled to share my positive experience!
I was recommended this company by a friend and I am so glad I used them. They came out right away and looked at our AC, told us the problem and were able to schedule us before the heatwave came! They also looked at our furnace, since that was super old as well and we were able to save money by replacing both at the same time. They were very professional and worked quickly. I will definitely be recommending them to anyone who needs this work done!
