I highly recommend rados. He is very professional and does great work. Installed a new AC system and everything came out perfect.
Our old Rheem furnace seemed functional, but had CRACKS in the heat exchanger so gas had to be shut off; compressor was underpowered for this size house. Rados of AmeriHeat suggested a Comfortmaker (Carrier) combo furnace/AC. We finally have a furnace that is safe, works wonderfully, and AC that cools the house very efficiently. Rados was always ready with questions, did a professional installation, and we are very happy with our new system AND RADOS. He also responds to our txt messages and is ALWAYS available. More power to AmeriHeat !
AMERIHEAT is a phenomenal company!! The process was seamless from start to finish, they removed all of the questions I had with reassurance, they were very professional, very neat, showcased superb craftsmanship, very knowledgeable and detailed oriented. I will never utilize another heating & cooling company other than AMERIHEAT and I strongly recommend them to anyone who wants a professional, trust worthy company who goes above and beyond.

If this guy does device like he drives, then we know it’s garbage. Don’t drive like an ahole if your company info is on the side of your van!

Our AC running out of freon and we found Rados on google and reached out him on Monday June 28th. We paid him $300.00 for service call and freon refill. He came around 6pm and it’s been 5 days since then and our AC is not even cooling down. It wasn’t even that hot last 4 days. But starting today it’s getting hotter so right now outside is 83f and our home is 80f and our AC is blowing warm. Our AC was on 70f last 4 days and it’s been around 78-80f last few days. I’ve had many contractors before and this never happened. Once freon is refilled even our AC lines might be leaking, AC works at least a month without any issues. We paid $300 for nothing and it doesn’t even work 1 week. I am almost 40 weeks pregnant and our contractor was not able to come this week. That’s why we called him, but the quality of his work is not good!!! I am not even sure if he even puts a freon!!! My blood pressure is getting higher and I am not sure how we paid him $300.00 for freon which did not work an hour??! Please be aware and call bigger companies or contractors who able to responsible their work. Also I am wondering how he gets so many 5 starts, maybe he gets these starts like other European businesses ask his friends and families leave a review. 🤷♀️🤷♀️🤷♀️
Rados came out on Super Bowl Sunday and fixed my furnace issue in 10 mins. Fast and affordable.
Highly recommend! Rados is prompt, attentive and efficient. I found Ameriheat through Yelp and was sold on some of the reviews I read. Rados is very professional and does honest work. I will definitely be a return customer for my future HVAC needs and have recommended him to family and friends already.
Rado's is a kind and professional installer. His pricing is excellent, he is a licensed, insured, and certified Ruud installer. I received a full warranty from the manufacturer and a 2 stage furnance for less than I was quoted for single stage installs from other vendors.
Rados was great. He was quick to come out and provide an estimate. He gave a detailed breakdown of all the costs and explained which products he would be using. His estimate was very reasonable and his quality of work is excellent. I will definitely be using Rados in the future.
Rados gave me a good price to install new a/c in my house. He did great work was prompt, considerate, he handled a couple difficulties very well. Final bill was just what he quoted No extras. I will reccomend Rados to friends and family.

Rados was a true savior. I sent him a text late night for one of my rental property in IL with HVAC system fully down in the blistery winter. He rushed first thing in the morning, diagnosed the problem and got things working. Not only did he repair the furnace, changed filter but also hard wired a C cable missing in my property's NEST thermostat. Rados is very professional, responsive, respects time and provides true care and resolution to problems at very reasonable cost. I would recommend him to anyone for his "above-and-beyond" attitude towards his clients.
What I learned from my lesson is that it is vital to give a small business a try! I felt super lucky to find Rados to replace our boiler. Our expansion tank has been leaking water, and the circulator pump for the boiler made a strange sound. Upon these "exciting" discoveries, I learned that the boiler was Buderus, "made in western Germany," in 1983, and the expansion tank was from the 1950s (I admit that I should have paid attention to these things). I called up five different heating and cooling companies to give me an estimate and to access the situation (4 of them are big names). It seems to me that either I pay $2k to replace parts and hope for the best that the boiler lasts another ten years, or pay a lot more to replace the entire system. As a small business company, Rados was able to provide the best price and one of the best experiences in this heating and cooling services. He is super knowledgable and patient in explaining to me about the steps, parts involved, and the schedule. He and his team completed the installation in one day. Most importantly, all the radiators didn't make strange noise after the new boiler installed. Rados is an honest businessman, and I will continue to do business with Ameriheat Heating and Cooling!
We are very happy with his work. We had to get the service on Saturday. The charge was not as high as we worried. Rados was able to identify the problem in our furnace and was able to fix it right away. He also taught us how to better maintain our heater. We will call him in the future for any heater/ac issue and I would recommend him for others who need any heater/ AC issues.
I hired Rados of Ameriheat to help me move a heating duct within a wall of my home in Oak Park. Rados completed the work in only a few hours and was extremely polite and efficient. He was incredibly punctual and responded to all of my texts immediately. I am thrilled with both the quality of his work, and also for the price I paid (which was less than half what another technician had quoted me). I can't recommend Rados and Ameriheat strongly enough. He will do all of my HVAC work for as long as I live in the Chicagoland area.
