The five star reviews are correct. We wanted a new Lennox AC unit installed. Joel's quote was the lowest among all reputable companies/ Lennox authorized dealers. He is busy but responds to your texts or calls back. He installed our unit when it was still cold and came back on a warm day to start it. Everything went smoothly. After two summers with a struggling old AC unit, we now have cold air without headache again.

Our air conditioner started having issues again for the 3rd time since we let another company come out and fix it. This time we called Joel and he came right out and let us know the previous company and put a part on incorrectly which caused a second part to fail as well. Once he replaced both parts about a couple of weeks ago it has been running great ever since. In fact we noticed it is working alot better and it much cooler in the house since he serviced it than when the proir company "fixed" it twice before. Highly recommend this company.
I would definitely recommend Joel's Heating and Cooling to anyone living in Plainfield or the surrounding area! Joel's company provided outstanding service and installation of my new AC unit. I received countless number of quotes for the new ac and it's installation, and Joel's quote was very competitive!!! Absolutely great work and I am convinced my money was well spent! I have had the pleasure of having Joel address all of my heating & cooling needs for the past few years. On Monday, May 16th, Joel replaced my failed 17 year old air conditioner with a bigger..more powerful…super modern model !! I am "blown away" by how much cooler my townhome is now as a result of the newly installed air conditioner !!! The previous air conditioner was ok for the 1st floor, but I barely felt any coolness on the 2nd level !! This new air conditioner certainly remedied that problem !! I am one happy individual now !!! Thank you Joel…sooo much for your expertise as well as kindness !!!
Great service and on time
All this heat and my house was an oven, I looked up Joel and called, boom at my house within 15 mins. Got us up and running and ran diagnostics, very knowledgeable and friendly, I highly recommend him to anyone very flexible and humble.
I placed a phone call to Joel to inquire about fixing our heating system, and he was here within 2 hours. He was professional, super nice, answered all of my questions and fixed our issue all in a timely manner! I will continue to use Joel for all of our HVAC issues and I recommend you all do, too!
In the coldest day of 2021, Joel answered the call to service our house late at night as temperatures began to drop, significantly. He even went out of his way to get the shop opened up in the early hours of the morning to ensure he had the right part for our furnace. We are very grateful for his responsiveness and QUICK service. Our house is up and running, no issues at all. Thank you JOEL!
Joel was great! Called late in the evening and he came to the house quickly as our heat was not working. He ran back to his shop and grabbed the part he had in stock and installed same night! Very happy - will definitely call for his service again! What a life saver on the coldest nights of the year! Thanks Joel!

Very responsive...called on a Sunday night, and we arranged for him to come the next morning (which was a holiday). I can tell Joel did a thorough job, and he really took his time to get it right. Further, he explained what went wrong and how I could do things going forward to try and prevent the problem from happening again. Joel went to my house On time compared to other companies. Even check up on the work done after 24 hours making sure the my HVAC unit for my 2nd floor is properly working.
