My husband and I are eternally grateful for Lyle from Lisle HVAC services. We had a large scale company come out for a tuneup of our furnace and were told we needed to replace a few expensive parts. Nearly $1,400 quoted for parts and labor. It didn’t seem right so we called Lyle for a second opinion. They came the same day we called and told us that there was nothing wrong with our furnace. No parts need to be replaced. We are a young family with two toddlers, to have a large company try to take advantage of us like that feels so violating. Thank you so much for your honesty. We will be recommending you to all of our family and friends in the area. We truly can’t thank y’all enough 🙏🏼
Lyle from Lisle installed our furnace in July last year (2020) and we waited until the furnace was in use for a winter before writing a review of the installation. Our 19 year old two stage variable speed furnace had a small crack in the secondary heat exchanger, and we needed a replacement furnace. After much research, we decided to replace it with a single stage 96% AFUE furnace with a multi-speed ECM motor. Every installer we called, except Lyle, said we should replace our furnace with the same type 2 stage variable speed furnace because of the savings and the extra comfort we would get from such a replacement. Our ‘monetary savings’ experience with the two stage variable speed furnace has not been a positive one. In those 19 years, we had to replace the variable speed motor ($1200) and Motor Module ($1197). The total cost of those two repairs was equivalent to 2/3’s the cost of what we paid for the furnace originally. Any savings we made in fuel efficiency disappeared with those repairs. Also, we did not notice any significant savings in our gas bill over the years from installing the 2 stage furnace. Lyle was in full agreement with the installation of the single stage furnace. He said: “More complex furnaces with “bells and whistles” will have problems down the road; their replacement parts are expensive, and they will cost you in labor to install (which I already knew from experience). With a BASIC furnace, your parts and labor will be less expensive down the line.” Lyle’s knowledge of HVAC systems, his not pushing us to upgrade and add bells and whistles to our new furnace, and his ability to answer all of our questions put him “head and shoulders” above everyone we contacted for an estimate. One thing that surprised us was his advising us to purchase a 100,000 BTU versus our current 120,000 BTU furnace. We live in the Chicago area and had a polar vortex winter in 2019 and my wife was worried a 100,000 BTU furnace would not give us sufficient heat

More like a Smile from Lisle .. Having been burnt by HVAC/Electric contractors in the past.. Its rare to get a honest & a selfless service like this.. Strongly recommended would be an understatement.. No upselling, just fixing the issue unlike other contractors who almost punched a hole in my pocket.. On my speed dial for sure for any future HVAC issues

Recently had a new furnace installed by Lyle. He was friendly, knowledgeable and had far better prices than any big hvac company. I saved thousands compared to the quote I got from another hvac company in the area, and it was for the same equipment. Install has beautifully done and gave me easy access to change the filter, something that my old furnace lacked. Do not hesitate to call! Can't wait to get my new AC installed when the weather warms up.
Friendly, professional and affordable. He replaced our furnace and did a great job! He explained all of our options and didn’t try to up sell us into something we didn’t need. We got a second opinion from a different company and Lyle said everything the other company said, but was even more knowledgeable. I would recommend him for any HVAC job.

I can't praise Lyle enough. He was courteous, knowledgeable, passionate about his work, and most importantly- FAIR! He took the time to explain everything he was doing. Before taking any action he listened to our overall goals and explained the options. He suggested a simple fix rather than an expensive replacement like the western-suburb big name HVAC company has been doing with my neighbors who had the same problem. It's rare to find a genuinely decent person you can trust with major appliances your family relies on but knows nothing about repairing. Lyle will treat you fairly. If you're like my family and you're trying to do what's best for your kids and budget you can't ask for anything more.
Our A/C unit went out. I did a google search and first saw "Perfect Home Services" they had a lot of reviews. I had them come out for an estimate. They wanted 500 to repair the unit. Lyle from Lisle came out to look at it and fixed it in under an hour and the total cost was 115.00. He was pleasant and easy to work with. And ......... honest!!! Even after a basically said that if you can fix it for less than 500 .. go ahead. He still only charged me 115. Yes, I am very happy with his service and would absolutely recommend him.
