Excellent service, from estimate Explaining options, to compleation. The install crew was professional, knowladgable and even fixed some issues found during install, and cleaned up no mess when they left. The price was the best of 3 estimates and service was A+! ..... needed them again today, we called yesterday and they said between 11 and 1 today, arrived at 10:58!!! Review problem, tried to repair part, and when didn't work had new part in truck, done in less than an hour and Nick was awesome! Professional, knowledgeable, and personable! Thank you Carefree.

Kevin and Sergio arrived promptly at the beginning of the scheduled 2-hour period and quickly detected the problem with my HVAC blower, a defective blower relay switch, which they repaired with a new switch. They were very professional and courteous in answering all of my questions.
I called carefree regarding an issue I was having with attic fan. They were able to come and corrected the issue in a timely manner. While here I had asked that a regular checkup / maintenance be done on our AC system. I have recommended them to my daughter when her furnace went out in a brutal chicago winter last year she too was very happy with them

I am a retired general contractor / carpenter so I have experience with using sub contractors in other trades. When I moved to this area more than ten years ago I was, as a home owner, referred to Carefree Comfort. I have used them for maintenance and repair of my systems and I am very much satisfied with their work, charges and the manner of their service people. I referred them to my son who happens to be an HVAC mechanical engineer and he seems to be satisfied as well. For me, an easy five stars.

I’m March 2023 we hired Carefree Comfort to install an AC in our 100+ year old home. Not only did the job require a delicate touch given the age of the home, but it was to be completed only a few weeks after our baby was born. Carlos, Nick and the team ensured the job was completed efficient in under a week. They were meticulous in their cleaning before they left everyday. We worked together to ensure certain parts of the home would still be accessible. They were timely, courteous and communicated clearly the process of the job while managing our expectations. I would recommend Carefree Comfort not just for their quality of work and professionalism, but also because of the flexibility and understanding they showed in ensuring the job was completed in a way that worked for our family.
Sergio was professional and efficient. Most important, he took the time to explain everything about my system since I had just bought the home. I had heard great things about the company from my mom who just used them for a new furnace. I am a believer now also!
My furnace went out in my house within a couple days. I put a new furnace in did an excellent job very professional. The owners are probably the nicest people you will ever meet!!!
The best!!!! We called them on Friday morning due to a gas odor and our furnace not coming on- they were here within 3 hours of our call - addressed the problems and solved it! We have them coming to our home twice a year for maintenance and being a Real Estate Broker I always refer them to my clients. Had Carefree Comfort out for preventative maintenance on our furnace in our new home in Libertyville. They were efficient, friendly, offered suggestions on making the house more comfortable, and didn't try to sell me anything extra. I'd for sure have them come out again!
Technician was knowledgeable and efficient. Quickly identified the issue and resolved it. Showed up very quickly on busiest day of the air for a heater that wasn’t working.
