I had Giovanni from MKDS out for an estimate on a new air conditioner and MKDSs quote was very competitive! Their install crew payed very close attention to detail when installing the new AC unit - everything was perfect! overall they did an excellent job and will be happily using them again for our yearly maintenance on our new unit! :)
I have used MKDS multiple times to install two different A/C systems in different areas. They are responsive, polite, and go above and beyond for their customers. Highly recommend.
Highly recommend MKDS! I called another HVAC company first in Glen Ellyn and the rep who came out wasn’t knowledgeable at all, and was very sales focus. Told me I should replace my furnace when that was working fine and I called him to fix my humidifiers. Was not listening to my needs, and didn’t do any diagnostics to see if it was repairable. MKDS came in, looked and my two humidifiers and within 5 minutes told me one could be repaired and another needed to be replaced. Price was about a third of what I finally received from the competitor. Micah teaches classes in HVAC and has a wealth of knowledge. Gave me insight on my boilers too. Marco did the actual repair work. A great team!
MKDS came by the same day as our inquiry to check our humidifier system. Another local company had quoted us quite a bit above market for a full replacement and said our unit was broken, but MKDS informed us that our system wasn't broken at all and only required a new pad. Honest, trustworthy company! Micah couldn't be a nicer guy and his wife Emilie was very helpful in orchestrating a quick turnaround for our issue. Highly recommend! Great Nextdoor reviews as well.

Called in the middle of the night, expecting a call in the morning. To my surprise, I received a call shortly after I left the message!! Micah showed up late at night on a weekend and got my heat up and running in no time!! Wore shoe covers and was very courteous. Pricing was very reasonable as well!! Highly recommend!!
Hands down, best customer service ever!! I reached out on a hot day (yesterday) when our system was making strange noises (it couldn’t get going) and no cold air was blowing. It was after hours but I explained I have a newborn and can’t afford to have her in a hot house. They did some trouble shooting with me over the phone including listening to the noise the unit was making and diagnosed the issue immediately. Less than 24 hours later and the issue is resolved. When it’s time to get work done or replace an HVAC, these are the people you want, because you know they will be honest and straightforward about the work needed!
Very quick response very professional I needed a part for my furnace and they were able to obtain it and get back within hours very satisfied
MKDS has been a life saver. My heat went out this weekend. I was dreading the cold and the dent in my wallet two weeks before Christmas. Micah came out on a Sunday night to look at it. The problem was the motor, which was still under warranty. Micah had a new motor installed the next day. I assumed I would still pay for labor even if the motor was covered. Micah told me MKDS matches the manufacturer warranty with a labor warranty. What a great family owned company!
These guys did a great job installing AND programming our new thermostat. Now our heat comes on 30 minutes before we open and goes off after we close. They were very comfortable and knowledgeable about their products. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

We moved into our new Condo in mid-December where everything we touched was either old, filthy, installed wrong, or breaking down.... But, when just last Sunday at 7:24 am, our condo filled with the strong smell of burning wire and plastic, things became a instantly serious! . We couldn't tell where that burning smell was coming from. We shut everything off and waited for the smell to dissipate. Then we felt the room temperature began to plunge, so it wasn't hard to figure out that the 20-year old furnace had just died. I immediately texted our previous Hevac guy, but after waiting 12 hours without a response, we were in true panic mode. That's when we stumbled on MKDS online and read all the 5-Star reviews. We texted over our predicament and waited LESS THAN TEN MINUTES when a reply cane thru. Micah offered us the first appointment for the very next morning. WHAT A TERRIFIC EXPERIENCE! Micah came to our rescue ON TIME and since I was at work when he came over, he even offered to return that night to re-explain what he had found. If ever someone needed a new furnace, it was us. It was so bad that we could have had carbon monoxide leaking into our Condo! Now we have a terrific state-of-the-art furnace and thermostat that we can control with our phones. Now we are both warm AND safe! Micah and Mike were thorough, neat and efficient. They went thru everything they did for us step by step. They took all the time we needed to answer all our questions, too. WHAT A POSITIVE EXPERIENCE WE HAVE HAD WITH MKDS! WE COULDN'T BE HAPPIER!!! Susan and Bart

MKDS was at my home once again. He diagnosed and fixed the problem within about 20 min. He is very knowledgeable and passionate about his work. He wasted no time or money. He doesn't nickel and dime you. This will be my heating and air company for life.
I called MKDS after my air conditioner went out during a hot spell of the summer. Micah fit me in that day and replaced the motor. The replaced motor ended up squeeking as a few days went by and Micah came back out took that motor back, got a new one and replaced it at no additional charge to us. He was very professional and did the work quickly. Not to mention he was not only on time but early. I would highly recommend MKDS.
