Tim and American Family replaced the HVAC in my Chicago apartment. Their pricing was reasonable, communication was excellent, and installation was fast and professional. New system works great!

American family heating and air-conditioning set the standard when it comes to professionalism. I had an issue with my furnace and it was 57 degrees in my house. I spoke to a gentleman named Tim who was polite and courteous. They were out to my home the same day and checked th basics and were able to get my furnace back in action. No trying to sell you extra stuff or overcharging. Very fairly priced and honest guys to deal with. I was very impressed with the service I received. They definitely exceeded my expectation. I will continue to use them and definitely recommend them to all my friends and family. 5 stars to Tim and the crew at American Family!
Tim came out for an estimate and refilled my ac that had a slow leak . At that time he hooked up the ac thermostat after the painter unhooked. I was very impressed with him. Down to earth, friendly and knowledgeable. I had 3 quotes and his was the best price. I went with him for price and personality. I had to call and ask him a question after only knowing him a day due to the painter again and he guided my husband how to hook up. I highly recommend American Family Heating & AC.

Outstanding Company Had 4 quotes to replace my existing heating and air conditioner. I chose to go with American Family Heating and Air because of price, the labor warranty and dealing directly with Tim, the owner. Tim and his crew answered all my questions before and during the install, did a great job installing, then made sure the entire work area was clean when finished. Tim also went above and beyond with a couple things making the entire purchase worth every penny. I highly recommend American Family Heating and Air for your next HVAC repair or installation.
These guys are great. They were on time, professional, honest, and reasonably priced. They were able to diagnose and repair our issue relatively quickly and we are very impressed with this business. We would highly recommend using these guys for all your HVAC needs.
All employees were excellent. Job was done on time and new AC works great. Cleaned up everything when done and price was very competitive. Will use again when 2nd AC/furnace need to be replaced!
Our air conditioning quit on a Sunday evening. I called All American and was really surprised not to hear an answering machine! We talked and Tim(?) gave me several suggestions. I asked about scheduling a service call as it was hottt! He offered to come out at 7 a.m. and I was so grateful! Every serviceman who has ever been here has made an attempt at selling a new system. Tim didn’t do that. He found the problem quickly and fixed it. We were very pleased with the service!
American Family has been my only HVAC provider for the past 12 plus years. They treat each call with special concern. I’ve never had to recall them. They offer top name equipment installed by their up-to-date and highly qualified service personnel. I no longer price shop as I am completely comfortable that American Family is giving me the best possible price. Good products coupled with fast reliable quality service.
I had a great experience with this company. Tim installed a furnace I had picked out, and then after a few days I called him and told him it was very noisy. He came to look at it first, then suggested a different furnace which he installed within a day or two. Very nice guy to work with and I highly recommend this company.
Tim and his team provide excellent professional affordable service at all hours! Even a quick question from a single mom about silly how do I fix this... always get an answer!! I highly recommend their service! My home is warmer and quite this winter due to there wonderful services! Thanks guys!

One year after a complete heat and cooling system installation, we experienced a new operating sound/noise. While it seemed minor and was not an immediate concern, the American Family Heating team took the time to schedule an immediate check of the system! They came and left on time with an adjustment made quickly! Great team, just confirms our decision to use them for the new systems!!
Holy Cow! That's all I can say! My heat stopped working at 8:30 last night and by 8 this morning it was fixed! Tim was so quick to diagnose and ordered the part right away and within a half hour WE HAD HEAT! He has a customer for life! What a breath of fresh air when you find a dependable and professional service like this! Thanks Tim, I'm going to tell everyone I know about you and your company!!

My AC unit was not functioning correctly, just spinning around unconditioned air. I searched around and came across American Family Heating and Air Conditioning. I plugged in my info and detail on the website and got a text from Tim, same day. He arrived same day (did not have to — thanks Tim!) but made a visit and fixed the issue, no hassle. Very courteous and precise with the diagnosis and onto repair. The cost was fair. I would recommend American Family Heating and Air Conditioning and would use them again in the future.
