I sure miss Orange. Perfect Home Service - BEWARE. They are scammers. My heat quit working (AC was working fine) - they came out - bad controller board. New board came in - a different tech comes out to install it. Heat was fixed - but eh AC was now not working. Tech stated I had a bad wi-fi thermostat. hmm - what are the odds. He then tries to sell me 1 of their w-fi thermostats. $700. Insanity. I get on Amazon and order a new 1 - $99. Install it - same thing: heat works and no AC. I have another company come out - he finds the issue in less than 5 minutes. The new controller board was not wired correctly. BEWARE of Perfect Home Service. I fill out their survey - they call me the same day. I explain the situation - they said they would refund me the $$$ I spent on the new thermostat. That was 6 weeks ago. Not a word. I have chalked it up as a loss. DO NOT use this company.
This is no longer the business Jim and his team ran, it was puchased by a much larger company and they are horrible on the customers service side and I would not recommed them
We LOVED Orange... Perfect Home Service, who bought them out doesn't even come close, BAD Experience! Called to get a quote and was told the process would be 60-90 minutes. Sales guy showed up laying on his tacky sales approach like a used car salesman for an hour. He presented us numbers that came in $2,500 more than another quote we had got for lesser equipment. When we told him we'd like to think it over and compare it to the other quotes, he didn't like that. Literally like flipping a switch, closed his computer and said have a nice day! Wanted to close the deal then and there, clearly in it for the commission... I will NEVER use this company and I will NEVER refer this company. We called thinking we were getting Orange Home Services, come to find out Perfect Home bought them out. There are plenty of other options... find another one!
I gave an extra star because they were very nice. Orange Home was bought by another air conditioner company. They quoted us $5000 just to fix our air conditioner and tried to sell us a new one for $10,000-12,000. Very sale-sy approach. We got a hold of our original air conditioner guys and they fixed it for $165 and said that even though our air conditioner is old, it still has a lot of life in it. They suggested we wait to get a new one because they didn't see a reason yet. That is a huge difference.
From the very start I new I was in good hands. We had an emergency situation with out furnace in our home due to flooding from a broken water supply line from our main level to our basement. When I called frantic, I was greeted by an extremely empathetic, calming, and caring receptionist. A repairmen was sent to our home and arrived quickly. The repair person was courteous, friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. He diagnosed the issues quickly and had everything in his van to repair items that were needed. I was impressed by the preparedness and honesty. Often feel like contractors take advantage of these situations and this was certainly not the case as we were put at ease. The price was super fair especially for an emergency response. Jim and Cindy the owners followed up with us afterwards and took a good amount of time responding to a few questions we had. 5 stars all around, massively recommended!!!!
Was many thousands over another company for same model number furnace and air conditioner. Was a large disappointment and felt like we couldn't trust them anymore. $7k difference is insane. Went with another reputable area plumber and heating company.
We decided to go with Orange to replace our furnace based on Google reviews and were not disappointed. From the initial walk through, to the fair offer, to the finished installation they were professional, thorough, and a pleasure to work with. They explained every step (and in non HVAC company verbiage). We will be using them for all our HVAC needs in the future.
My furnace was not working probably and the fan periodically blowing cool air and turning on constantly. Technician came and didn't diagnosed it probably. Had them come three times within three weeks and charged every time. Not satisfied with them.
Great people behind this exceptional company. They clearly care about their customers, with good attitudes and work ethic that trickles from the top on down.

From top to bottom is was a pleasure dealing with this business. Kyle came out and diagnosed my issue with Hvac system very quickly. He was professional the entire time while dealing with my issue and also with me following him around my house. The issue turned out to be some wiring problems. He could’ve easily done work to my unit that had nothing to do with my issue but instead fixed the problem with no over charge. If you need Hvac work, I highly recommend this business for their professional services and honesty.

Greg was very professional and explained everything. Thanks for the great service! Update: We have now used Orange Home Services for both maintenance and new HVAC system installation. We sincerely appreciate their great knowledge, customer service, and professionalism. They are very particular about getting things right. Their quote was comprehensive with no need for add-on charges. We also appreciated the communication on arrival times and answering questions.

I could not be more pleased with this company and their employees! We simply had a maintenance appt. scheduled and Greg (who came out to do the maintenance) asked the right questions at the right time and offered us a solution! Within 24 hours of this service appt. we were tackling 2 leaks in the heated floors in our basement. Curtis and Jim from Orange were amazing in everything they did...now we have fully operating heated floors in our basement....thanks to Greg who initially asked the questions and then to Curtis and Jim who fixed the problem.....thank you to Orange, you have lifelong customers!! Thank you!!!
$190 to clean a sensor on my furnace? What a joke.
