Ted Dumont has serviced our AC for every home we have owned in the Boise area. They are professional, honest and efficient in getting the job done. They work hard to get you in and taken care of even during a busy holiday such as July 4th. Ben was patient and professional and answered all our questions. They are also very fair in pricing. We will continue calling them. Thank you!!!
Ben serviced our A/C today. Great guy. Thorough job. Cleaned the compressor coils. They were grossly dirty. Probably saved us from burning out our compressor early. He was very informative. It felt like he truly wanted the best for us. Ted Dumont HVAC is a good company. I became a customer when I called them on a weekend once and got a phone call right back with help. Good guys.
Ben was our technician and he was excellent. He called me when he was on his way and showed up on time for a dryer vent cleaning. He took the time to show me where the vent obstruction was and showed me how to check for potential issues going forward. He did a thorough job and cleaned up everything after he was done. I've been 100% satisfied with every technician from Ted DuMont HVAC in the past, but Ben was especially informative and took the time to show me everything he was doing and how to monitor for any potential issues in the future. I highly recommend Ben and the company! I've already sent a referral to a friend following today's service call.
Ben came out on time, was friendly and professional, and explained what went wrong and how he was going to fix it. Then, he did! No BS, just showed up and fixed the AC. In a world where reliable service is shockingly rare, I will definitely use them again, especially Ben.
Our AC stopped working right at the beginning of summer. The office we work at became stifling, & absolutely unbearable! It reached a temperature of 86 degrees inside, & we thought there was no hope left. That is when our hero arrived: Ben! He was quick, knowledgeable, professional, & super friendly. He is an absolute asset to this company!!! He deserves a raise! This will be our only choice for HVAC maintenance. We are very impressed & we would give this company a TEN STAR rating if it were possible! Thanks so much Ben!
A/C refrigerant lines were freezing up. Ben diagnosed the problem and got the system back to working quickly and made sure I understood everything that was going on. Great service.

Needed a second opinion on our commercial HVAC system and was recommended Ted Dumont. Had Adam Nokes come out and look at our system and couldn’t be happier with the service and advice, especially after having bad experiences with other HVAC companies in Boise in the past. A lot of companies will try to upsell you on service and equipment you don’t need, but he was extremely helpful and gave much needed advice which will end up saving a lot of money, time, and hassel down the road. 10/10 would recommend for anything HVAC related.
I contacted Dumont HVAC about a ventilation system issue that I had. Ben was dispatched to my home and he was informative and professional. Ben diagnosed the problem and put together a proactive plan. He contacted Dumont HVAC home office and got the parts ordered and kept me informed of the status of the order. He returned a couple of days later and fixed the issue and walked me through the process. Our heat went out and the next morning Ted Dumont HVAC sent Ben out to assist us. He was quick and knew exactly what he was doing. He gave us advice on what to do if we find ourselves in a similar situation and was very friendly. I highly recommend Ben for all things HVAC related!
I had Ted Dumont HVAC come out and replace an inducer motor on my 10 year old furnace. Ben showed up with part in hand and had us up and running in no time. Thanks Ben! I am a long time customer and I highly recommend them! We Always get great service!

Ted Dumont HVAC was recommended to us and I am SO GLAD that we contacted them to get our furnace running again. They were prompt, effective, and even showed me how I can prevent the same issue from occurring in the future with a maintenance trick. Ben was fantastic, I appreciate his professionalism, honesty, and willingness to teach me how my furnace works and how I can maintain it. In the end, the repair ended up being far less than I worried it would be based on former HVAC experiences in Boise. I will be calling Ted Dumont HVAC for my service and repair needs from now on.
My furnace quit working at 11 PM on a cold night. I emailed Ted Dumont that night. At 9 AM Ben was at our front door, and had my furnace working before 10 AM the same day! They rocked it! Call them if you want to stay warm in the winter and cool in the summer.
Another company stated our system needed to be replaced. Ben went through our system while explaining everything and found that it did NOT need to be replaced. Great service!!
