Our AC suddenly stopped working this morning, I spoke with a very friendly person on the phone and she managed to get someone out the same day. Their system seems well organized and streamlined, I received a confirmation text and a heads up when a technician was en route. Jose showed up right when they said he would be here, he was also very friendly and knowledgeable. He got the problem diagnosed and fixed within minutes then made absolutely sure everything was working as expected. Even gave me a few tips on a new house we’re building. Will not hesitate to call again or refer a friend.
I had Jose come personally and look at the problems with my AC,. He put in a little Freon and charged me close to three hundred for an $18,000 new furnace and a/c .a/c worked for a week. He didn’t even diagnose the a/c. I wouldn’t recommend this business

Professional and courteous. They inform you if there is a delay. They send a text with a picture of the tech, which I really like. They will be my go to for future needs.
Beware, this company will scam you! I called this company to come out and diagnose my AC problems. I asked how much it would be for them to come out and they said the diagnosis fee is a standard $120. I said that was fine. They came out early the next morning. The tech was here for about an hour and found out that one of the wires on my thermostat was not connected causing the system to short cycle. I thanked him and he said they would bill me. A few weeks later I got a bill for $520! I called and asked the guy if this was a mistake and he said he would need to talk to his technician. After I explained that the technician just diagnosed the issue and connected a wire (no equipment was needed) I asked if they charge $520 for that, and he said yes sometimes they do. I told him he said it would only be $120 for the initial diagnosis and I never agreed for the technician to do any extra work above that. After some yelling back and forth he admitted this was purposeful, blaming me for telling him I believed I had installed the thermostat correctly since I did myself (it's a NEST). I realize now that this company is trying to scam me. I agreed to a $120 diagnosis fee, and they switched it to a $520 fee to do the diagnosis and connect a single wire on the thermostat without any notice or opportunity to decline the work. Stay away!

They were very transparent about the state of our system, and I really appreciate them not pretending to wave a magic wand to fix everything. They were efficient and hard working, and got everything as good as possible. They were kind and helpful. I will be continuing to call them for maintenance on mini split set up.
Snowflake was great to work with. Jose assessed the system and the issue we were having, explained everything clearly and provided plan for maintenance and repair. Two ductless heads and a heat pump were deeply cleaned, and a blower motor replaced. Ductless is still hit or miss on whether companies truly know how the systems work, and it's obvious that Snowflake knows them very well. We'll be using them in the future for any/all system needs.

I received 3 estimates for an install of a Mini-Split ductless system to heat/cool my RV garage (chose Mitsubishi unit). Jose, the owner of Snowflake Air came personally to provide the estimate, not a salesperson as with the other co's. Unlike the other co's reps, Jose gave me various options right from the start re unit brands/models, materials, install methods, etc...I didn't have to ask. He then answered my questions and provided product brochures, etc... Very easy going, no hard sell. After that, Jose emailed me more product info for HOA approval and responded to a few add'l questions I had. His price quote was somewhat close to one other co, coming out in the middle of the 3. Snowflake's online reviews were excellent, but I ultimately chose this co based on my gut feeling that they would not only do a quality job, but also that they would be the most responsive should any issue arise down the road. So far, at one week after the install, I couldn't be more pleased with how well Jose and his staff communicates, the install, and the system itself. It's a night and day difference in my garage. Jake the lead on the install team and his helper Luis, showed on time, and did a very good and neat job in nasty weather. Assuming one is buying a quality product, the job's success always comes down to the installer. Like the friendly office staff, they were courteous and professional. This company communicates exceptionally well and is timely in responding. I would recommend Snowflake highly without hesitation.
This is the third home I've owned in Boise and called on Snowflake for my furnace/AC needs. My furnace suddenly stopped working late afternoon on a snowy 20 degree day. Snowflakes owner Jose was at my home in under three hours and had the furnace back up and running in minutes. Since the repair went so quickly he also took the time to install the new programmable thermostat that was sitting on the kitchen counter waiting for me to get around to installing. I've used Snowflake Air for furnace repair and had a very good experience. They were on-time and professional. The cost was reasonable and I've had no problems in the several years since they handled my furnace repair. Since my system is now 18 yo, I've decided to buy their twice yearly service (autumn for furnace and spring for A/C) which I think is a fair program. I get a very positive feeling talking to their technicians and office staff.
Excellent!! We did a ductless system in 1 room, love it! While they were here, they looked at our whole house's current HVAC system and worked out a plan if we ever wanted to upgrade from it. There was extra work that they weren't expecting that they didn't charge for. And it was $2k less than another companies bid.
I called this Morning before Snowflake Air came to my house and this is the fourth time they've helped me. Their Customer Service is not only professional but courteous. I will have no one else take care of my heating and A/C Because of the way they treat their customers. . Thank you, Michael and crew for and OUTSTANDING Job.
