Chip spent the time needed to find what was causing the error code on my furnace and resolved the issues one by one. He is a seasoned professional who seems to take pride in his work. His work ethic and honesty is hard to find these days.
They made the problem worst. Worked on AC Unit for 2 hours. As a temporary fix the technician left the fan on And said he would look for the part and call back the next day. But they did not follow up with us. Told us they would check around for the part and never did get back to us. And in the meantime the house became even hotter after he worked on it. And when we called the next day no one ever called or came back out. When you call them you get an answering service that does not wrk for the company. Very Bad Experience
Chip was amazing! My furnace went out couple days ago and wasn't blowing any heat, so I called Chip and he came out on the 8th. When he got up to my furnace he told me that whoever installed my furnace in my house installed it with the wrong capacitor which ultimately ended up burning out the fan motor which is why I was not getting any more heat and why It was making that loud buzzing noise every time I turned it on, so he informed me that my parts are under warranty and that he would go get them and change them out So he left and came back and did just that. Everything was installed and then at the end he found out that the limiter switch also got burned out, so he told me he would come back tomorrow (which is today), pick up the new limiter switch and i will have heat again. Not to mention he traveled a great distance yesterday and today to get all the parts. Very commendable and reliable person! And now my heat is back working, furnace good to go, and me and my dog don't have to sleep another night in the cold!

Mr. Smith was extremely professional, knowledgeable about my problems, and courteous. He has my future business not only for my house but also my father's home and any rental property we may need future repairs in. I didn't know Chip before my A/C service call but he made me feel like family and treated me as if I had been a lifelong customer! I highly recommend his company for any of your HVAC needs. Chip and Elroy were perfect! They helped identify a tricky problem and saved me tons of money by cleaning my unit and repairing the issue. I have cold AC now and much better airflow! We are extremely satisfied with their professionalism, punctuality, and knowledgeability. Oh my gosh. My a/c started blowing warm after at 8pm and I called Franklin D Smith Heating & Air and they were able to come out the next morning. He walked me through what was wrong and then promptly fixed it. So sweet. So kind. And knowledgeable about his craft.

I would highly recommend this company. They cleaned the attic where the furnace was installed and removed debris from other service providers and the garage. They vented the furnace through the roof, corrected issues left on the roof by Dish installer, used quality equipment and didn't cut corners. They pride themselves on doing excellent service.
When I tell you Mr Franklin and his partner are absolutely the best they truly are! No only was he honest with pricing and very knowledgeable he explained every problem area to my understanding , he was also able to work with my home warranty company . Not only did he install a new Hvac system but also fixed every problem area he encountered including my thermostats. Will definitely recommend and will most surely be using his services again.

My Warranty Company could not find anyone competent enough to repair my Whirlpool Bathtub in my Master Bathroom. So they sought out Franklin D Smith HVAC because they already knew he had the skills to solve my problem. Sure enough, he came up with a Repair Idea and it worked GREAT. My wife is so very happy now to have her Whirlpool Back after being down almost six weeks. Thank you, Franklin!!
