Furnace out, 8 degrees, call Dan & he answers promptly but tells me its going to be a couple of days & offers a couple of referrals that might be available, I tell him I'll wait 2 days. He arrives on time, fixes the 17 yr old furnace for a very fair price. I can recommend Confortman with confidence.
This will be my goto guy for all hvac needs. Punctual, respectful, knowledgeable and willing to contact other resources if needed.
After more than 2 months of people coming back and forth to my house to address a HVAC system (and lots of money, despite having a contract with the installer), I gave up and called Comfortman. He came out, figured out the problem, and now everything runs perfectly. So if you have a problem, this is the guy to call!
I called Dan to schedule an appointment(Thursday) his next availability was Friday. I received a call Thursday late afternoon “he had a few minutes to spare” could he come help me? WOW he chose a customer over a short break and cooling off!! I call that above and beyond especially in this heat after an already busy long day. He was very knowledgeable, friendly AND my AC was fixed!! If you are looking for a reputable, honest and fair company this IS THE ONE. Thank you Comfortman😊

When my air conditioner stopped working, Dan Goss responded quickly to my plea for help. (He had fixed my furnace 18 months earlier). Dan offered to work on Memorial Day and I was very pleased with the quality of service and reasonable price. Dan fixed the capacitor, did diagnostics to determine I needed more refrigerant and installed a new thermostat. He explained everything and made suggestions for making my unit run more efficiently. At no time did he try to “up-sell” me on anything, which I really appreciated. Dan is also pleasant company! I heartily recommend Comfortman for all air conditioning and heating issues.
Highly recommend. I was easily able to schedule an appointment for our AC going out. Dan came out and was able to fix the issue and get our AC running without issue. I found the pricing to be very reasonable and I found the service to be excellent!

Dan at Comfortman was the only person to answer my call on the first Sunday after the temperatures started to drop and our heat wouldn’t come on. He came as quick as he could and he was extremely personable. It turned out to be a quick fix and he charged us a very fair price. Not only would I highly recommend Comfortman for all your HVAC needs, but do yourself a favor and get to know Dan and you won’t regret it! He’ll be our go to going forward and he should be your’s too!
Dan was great. He has an answering service that takes calls when he’s under a house somewhere, they were very professional, bright and cheery. And so was Dan, who called me within five minutes of me leaving a message. He asked a few questions to help narrow down the problem. Then he showed up 15 minutes later and we had AC within an hour. Very good manners, made good conversation, genuinely interested in us. Great guy.
So impressed with Dan Goss and Comfortman. Dan came and worked in less than ideal circumstances to get my AC system back up and running. His pricing is excellent and a nicer person cannot be found. Highly recommend.
Dan Goss' company has been taking care of my home in Embry Hills since 1999. When I first met Mr. Goss his business was called DeKalb CARE and many in our area still know it as that. Now as the Comfortman team, they continue to exceed expectations in several important ways. Dan's a down-to-earth good guy, good father, good husband, and a good neighbor. I could tell he was trustworthy from the get-go. He saves me money, even when he could make a bundle just bending the rules a little. He showed me a problem he'd diagnosed and how he could fix it fairly easily; then he explained another repair option; he explained that some HVAC techs would steer me to replacing a major part at great expense, but he was confident the minor repair was all I would need now and the system could perform for years just as -is. Time has proven he was right. He's always prompt and his work seems pretty quick & efficient, and the same goes for the employees I've met over these years. Comfortman has earned a great reputation in Embry Hills and the contiguous Doraville-Tucker areas. I'd confidently recommend Comfortman... to my closest friends and relatives...without reservation. I called Don late on a Saturday night. He was here on Sunday and only charged me for a service call. Seems there was a blown fuse, so he left me another fuse and told me to call back if it happened again. 3 days later it blew the fuse and the replacement. He was here within the hour. This time he found the problem, a tiny rub on a wire that shorted out the fuse. He repaired and never charged me again. I highly recommend Don, the Comfortman!
What a nice guy! Dan arrived on time, was very professional and courteous. He set about doing what I needed and then we had a nice chat about my HVAC issues. He wasn't pushy about what needed to be done and just let me know the facts (even showing me pictures he took of the issue). He knew his limitations and gave me a great referral to resolve my issue. I would highly recommend Comfortman for your HVAC needs.
Dan the Comfort Man. We called him after 5 pm. He very kindly came by on his way home to examine our heater who's fan had seized up. He confirmed my husbands diagnosis and came back the next morning with the parts and tools necessary to fix our furnace. The repair was not inexpensive, but quite a bit less expensive than some of the other quotes. We weren't even charged for his diagnosis time. He was friendly, efficient, helpful and knowledgeable. It was quick and fairly painless. I definitely will call him for anything related to my heating and air in the future.
Our old school thermostat decided to die out on us on a Saturday evening on the coldest day of the year! We searched the NextDoor app and found so many recommendations for Dan at Comfortman. I called and he scheduled to come come out the next day (a Sunday). Dan showed up on time, replaced our thermostat with a new smart thermostat, and even checked our HVAC and replaced the filter. He did all of this at such a reasonable price too! I will be using him again and would suggest him to any of my neighbors in the Decatur or Tucker area.
The door switch on AC was broke, the technician from United Air temp switch off AC and ordered the switch, was told that it would come in 3 to 5 business days. It did not come in seven business days (sizzling 90F average!), me calling to Air temp was in vain. Found Dan through the Nextdoor page, called him evening and he was able to squeeze me in next day. He hooked up AC without a door switch, got a switch on a third day and all is fixed. Took him literary 15 minutes to diagnose and fix. Totally recommend. Knowledgeable, responsive, recourse full, affordable, nice man. You can rely on him, that's a teacher with more than 30 yrs experience talking. :-)
