We tried a few other HVAC companies before finding Milt’s. We have the maintenance contract with them and they’ve always been reliable, knowledgeable, and fair. I came home yesterday and the house seemed warm and quiet. Sure enough, the a/c wasn’t on. I called at 6:13 p.m. and Charlie arrived at 6:48. Whaaat?!? After a very thorough investigation, he confirmed the problem. The new part was ordered, picked up from Jax, and installed by Seth less than 24 hours later. Highly trust and recommend Milt’s!

Milts was responsive and fixed our issues quickly. Sean communicated well throughout the process and delivered exactly what was expected. The installers, Sammie and Charlie, were excellent! They were very professional and kept us informed throughout the install.
I cannot begin to express, how professional, courteous, experienced, and efficient Milts has been with replacing our HVAC system. From my first phone, call, someone was out that afternoon for an estimate, emailed my quote and discussed options and scheduled installation within three days. When they came out for the installation they were prompt and knowledgeable and explained everything in advance. Charlie and Sammy were incredible with their knowledge and efficiency. I can’t say enough about Milts as we have been on the island 10 years and they have always represented the very best standards in customer service.
Milt's A/C owner Rick Crawford represents the old fashion family owned way of doing business. Very accessible, thorough in his evaluation of our needs, with a great demeanor. We chose Milt's A/C to install 2 new Daikin A/C systems in our Fernandina Beach home. Daikin/s 12 year parts and labor warranty and exceptional fine reputation made it an easy decision to spend a little more for such an important part of our home. They were early on the install day and Sam and Trevor worked diligently and effectively and were able to get both systems installed on the same day. Sam obviously has many years in the business and guided the installations so smoothly and cleanly, with Trevor's friendly assistance. As in all businesses, their staff's attitude, efficiency, and follow through are always directed from the top. In this case it surely is a true compliment to Rick.
Communication is terrible. I didn't know until the invoices started to arrive in the mail that there was a service charge on what I thought would be a warranty call. I believe that technically they are a company sufficient enough to do the work but if you want a more customer oriented experience you should seek elsewhere.
I have dealt with a number of HVAC contractors over the years, on Amelia Island and in the greater Jax area. Our best experience by far has been with Milt's of Amelia. They recently replaced both of our old units with Daikin Fit heat pump systems. The equipment has been quiet and efficient. The installations were professionally done and in a timely manner, and they took the time to return to "fine tune" both systems to our home's conditions. I am also reassured that all equipment carries a 12-year parts & labor warranty from the manufacturer. Milt's of Amelia has earned my highest recommendation.
Milt's is very prompt, professional, courteous and efficient. All of our questions were answered and we are very happy with our new system.
We will only use Milt's for all of our A/C needs. Our A/C went out over 4th of July weekend which was awful but Milt's made the process of replacing it easy. From the initial service call through final installation of our new Daikin heatpump, every employee was knowledgable, polite, professional and ready to answer our questions. Our new system is exactly what we wanted: highly efficient, comfortable, and very quiet! We highly recommend Milt's.
We had two new Daikin air handlers/heat pumps and condensers installed at our beach home. Our technicians, Sammy and Trevor worked diligently all day and stayed overtime until the project was complete. We are looking forward to years of trouble free heated and cooled air with the 12 year warranty.

First class organization. Great staff and management. They helped us thru an air conditioning emergency in the extreme heat. Beyond the call off duty. Our new system was installed quickly and is working like advertised. They are my a/c company by choice!! Sammy was so helpful and nice. VERY glad to have Milts and Sammy as my ac and heating pros!!
Excellent service along with response time. Milt's installed a new unit a couple of years ago, They were quick to respond to our needs and provided clear details on selecting a new unit. Now we're in maintenance mode. Thank you Sandy, for your service and keeping the unit operating efficiently.
Nick got the ball rolling and was very responsive. Sammy and Trevor the “doers” were here on time, got to work, made needed changes on the fly and were neat as a pin. At the end of the job Sammy walk me through the thermostat and got my app uploaded and working. Great team effort. Let’s talk system, a new Daikin Fit 17 seer inverted variable speed heat pump. It is quite as a church mouse. Give Milts a chance

Milts came to the rescue yesterday… we have a unit with a bad chip and know that they are not readily available. Milts got some chips in and sent some one out immediately (and after hours) last evening to restore our AC. They are always incredibly responsive and serviceman are polite / on time and knowledgeable! Only company to use for us !
Milts needed back ordered parts to fix our AC so they ordered a whole new unit and took the parts from that one getting us back up quickly. Very happy with that given the chip shortage!

This spring 2021 I bought a house where Milts has installed AC condenser and air handler (Daniken). Work was done in 2018 and all new ducts were installed in 2020. I have receipts from the seller. They spent over $22k with Milts. During house inspection, it was noted that newly installed ducts are laying on the ground and that this is wrong. I was not overly concerned as that could be easily fixed. Or so I though. It was not until it got hot, when I turned on AC, that I noticed system not performing as expected. One room in particular was not getting cooled properly. I called Milts for service about a dozen times. After about two weeks of me calling and following up, service guy finally came out. I showed him that ducts are full of water as they are on the ground. You can Google why, ducts with cold air, touching the ground will get condensation. Some were so heavy that they got pulled away from floor registers allowing for even more condensation and air leakage. Technician said he will talk to his boss, and someone will call me back with solutions. I followed up again with multiple calls. Was told that the Owner, Rick, will call me. Still waiting for the call. I did call two other local HVAC companies. They came out in a couple of days. They said that ducts will have to be replaced. Milts charged $10k for new flex ducts last year. Beware, they do not stand behind their work and will leave you hanging.
