Highly recommend Family heating and cooling. Another contractor came out and failed to fix my Heat pump. Matt and Ed came out to fix the problem, were very friendly and answered all my questions. K. Bryant
Matt did a great job diagnosing the problem with my Mom's heater and repaired it quickly. He came the same day I called, which was on a Saturday. My mom's house was 54 degrees and he made sure she had heat. He also came out to take care of her faucet which was dripping, replaced the faucet and was very reasonably priced. I appreciated that he took care of something for her that he does not normally do but wanted to make sure she was taken care of. I highly recommend his company and will not hesitate to call him again!! Matt is very friendly and goes above and beyond to make sure you are happy and satisfied with the quality of his workmanship.
Would not recommend this HVAC company to my worst enemy. A total of 6/7 visits (lost track honestly) & 3 months-- STILLLLLL NOT FIXED!!! OUTRAGEOUS TRULY TRULY TRULY!!!!!!!
This team is absolutely fantastic. Matt my tech was awesome. Kept me informed and ensured my system replacement was completed correctly.
First I called Oliver heating and cooling and they said my AC was broken and I need a whole new combo heating and ac unit which would have costed several thousands of dollars. Then I Called Family Heating & Cooling from my Home warranty and the skilled technician said it was just a drain clog, which was an easy fix. Some companies just want to rip people off.
I called Family HVAC to help with an AC problem . Matt, Jack and Eddie were very helpful. They helped me with my AC problem! They did an awesome job! They are friendly, helpful just a wonderful company I Highly recommend this family business! An Awesome Company 10/10

Awesome company! My AC was not pushing out cold air on a really hot day. Called Family Heating & Cooling and they came out same day to replace the capacitor. Made the process very easy and quick! 10/10 would recommend!
We appreciate everyone at Family Heating & Cooling! We initially came in contact with this company through our home warranty company, American Home Shield. We are happy to say that our air conditioner works after two years! The technicians we're extremely knowledgeable and patient with us. The customer service was also top notch! We definitely recommend this company to everyone who has any HVAC need.
I have ahs home warranty my unit was working fine I decided to take advantage of the free yearly maintenance which was included in my monthly fee. Family heating came out did the maintenance a few days later no heat ! Be mindful my heat was running when the technician arrived after fussing they came back out to no surprise it was no error on their part it’s very sketchy to me my unit was A ok before they came and with the technician even confirming my unit was good just days later no heat. But he was pretty ok with telling me call your home warranty company put in a service ticket and we will come out and trouble shot 😬
Matt was able to set up an appointment promptly, was a pleasure to have in my home, and resolved the thermostat issue efficiently. If you need any HVAC work, call them first.
Matt is hands down one of the best, most down to earth owner operators you will meet. He will go above and beyond the call of duty to make sure the customer is satisfied. Sprinkle in the fact that he is a genuinely good guy, and you have the makings of a top quality service professional. Matt and the team at Family will always be my first call. Highly recommend!
Very disappointed with today's service. I had to wait seven days for them to show up, and when they did, they rushed through and left without diagnosing the root cause. He said he added a few ounces of freon and was leaving, but then I asked him to find the leak as well. He refused and said systems lose freon all the time without there being a detectable leak. Nonesense. I asked him to come back and to see whether the system was losing the freon he just added. He refused. I asked that he check out the evaporator and the coils to see if it was dirty. He pulled two screws to open the cover by a fraction of an inch and declared that the coils were clean without bothering to inspect.
No AC since July. It's September they are finally coming to fix it this week. Since the beginning I've dropped $600 for fans and a portable AC. Also had to take an elderly parent to the hospital for heat exhaustion.
The tech made everything quick and easy. He had the problem solved in a matter of minutes. Good job
This company is complete fraudulent. When Matt came to my home he was nice and pleasant, went over the next step. Which now I see was an act. I have American Home Shield and they are a vendor for them. Matt told me my pan was cracked and I would need a new system, the same thing two other companies told me. He also advised because American Home Shield only pays for low grade system, if I want a better system my cost would be 3,500. I was fine with that and would of used them. Then a week later I get a email from them stating that the cost would be 4,547.00 out of pocket. I called the lady told me she can't discuss pricing and that is my out of pocket cost. I asked how much is AHS paying she said we have not gotten an approval from them. I called AHS they told me they never sent over a report. AHS called them to send over a report, well because I did not approve the upgrade system they lied to AHS and Matt told them that my system if working fine and that I have 3 pounds less of refrigerant and I declined it told Matt I said a friend was putting it in. That is a bold face lie and they lied all because I did not agree to pay 4,547.00 out of pocket. This is the worse experience I have ever had with any company and I have never seen such lies and fraud.
After scheduling with American Home Security the company decided that they couldn't do geothermal repair. Shouldn't AHS be aware of that. Took a week to get turned down.
Horrible experience! I called for an appointment because my AC Unit stopped working. They never called me back, nor did anyone reach out to me via email either. I had to call someone else, because after waiting days for a phone call, the heat in my home got unbearable. If you have someone else in mind to use, then you're better off!
My family’s house A/C was not working properly. I immediately thought to call Matt. Reached out and he came to the house in about a hour. He fixed the issue with no problem. They’re professional, and responsive! For any HVAC issues, they’re the company to call!
