It was such a pleasure dealing with Daniel and the whole team at CO Eco Mechanical! Unlike most plumbers I’ve dealt with, they were more focused on the right solution and truly aligning the product with our needs, as opposed to selling a preferred vendor list. They share our concern for the environment and are focused on smart energy related approaches. They took the time to walk through the quote and identified available rebates. The team showed up early (as requested) on the install day, were quick and clean with their work. They appear to genuinely enjoy their trade and it shows with their attitude and professionalism. I plan to work with them again in the near future and highly recommend CO Eco Mechanical to anyone considering HVAC upgrades.
They are highly recommend, and I rarely say that! I had them install a heat pump for my 1977 house. They were very clear in communicating my options and did exactly what they said they would do. They were on time, professional, organized, and clean. It was a tight group of professionals starting with the quote, then installation of the unit, electrician and activation. Daniel’s expertise and communication style made me feel comfortable. My house has some unique features and it required a custom fit, you can tell they were experienced in dealing with this sort of thing. They made sure to cover the lines outside with material that is paintable. They taught me about the system and how to use the thermostat. Everything runs great, and I couldn’t be happier.
We contacted four companies to get advice and bids on installing a heat pump system and backup gas furnace. We opted to go with Colorado Eco-Mechanical for three reasons: (1) Daniel Howell, the owner, was our primary contact and he designed the system (he has a mechanical engineering degree from the Colorado School of Mines). (2) His company specializes in these systems and had great reviews online. (3) The design and equipment that he specified seemed like the best approach for what we needed. The installation went quickly and with no surprises, his team was fantastic, and we’re had zero issues.
These folks are incredibly professional and better than all of their competition. We've received quotes from pretty much everyone in this market and we've worked with quite a few too. None of them hold a candle to Daniel and his team. If you want something installed correctly, thoughtfully, and professionally I strongly recommend having them out.
Eco-Mechanical installed heat pump and small, auxiliary furnace at my home. The work was excellent and the price fair.
Colorado Eco-Mechanical replaced my gas furnace with a heatpump and they replaced my water heater with a heatpump water heater. They were super efficient, friendly, knowledgeable and incredible easy to work with. I'll definitely use them again if I need to do some more upgrades.
Daniel is a mechanical engineer from School of Mines and it shows. He is extremely knowledgeable, especially for high efficiency and net zero homes. Very professional. I highly recommend his company for all HVAC types of jobs.
Colorado Eco Mechanical installed a Daiken Mini-split system in my master bedroom. Very easy to work with, very professional and friendly staff, fast installation and competitive prices. I would not hesitate to call them again for any HVAC service. I requested 5 bids from other companies and they were the obvious choice. They were also helpful with Xcel rebates.
Daniel and the team were awesome. We worked together to come up with the best system for my home, eventually ending up with a Bosch air source heat pump. I was focused on electrification, decarbonization, comfort and quality. I also wanted humidification. They also recommended some changes to our duct system, and did those repairs well. His team was diligent, professional, and clearly enjoy working for the company. I highly recommend them.
We worked with Colorado Ecomechanical to replace our AC unit and furnace. After consulting with many companies, we decided to go with Daniel due to his straightforward manner and his interest in green energy. Daniel walked us through the various options and helped us to understand the pros and cons of the different systems and brands. We settled on an air source heat pump with backup high efficiency furnace for very cold days. Unfortunately, supply chain issues meant some last minute changes which Daniel and his team managed for us in a timely manner. We were without an AC system in the height of the summer, so their fast turn around was very much appreciated. Since installation, the Ecomechanical team have come out to do fine tuning, and a full inspection of the system free of charge after the Marshall fires.
Tried working with CO Eco Mechanical on a heat pump installation but kept getting ghosted by Daniel. Their quote was the lowest i found but then the communication issues were so bad I had to move to a different contractor.

Eco did a great job on our new system. They listened and paid attention to the importance of creating the most environmentally thoughtful system within our budget. They had creative ways to boost efficacy that none of the other bids included. They were professional and thorough and clean. Very happy with our new AC system.

Two thumbs up for this team. Daniel's team installed a new HVAC system on our second floor, and replaced a thermostat on our main floor. They were professional, knowledgeable, reasonably priced, and got the project done! There was a lot of coordination to be done with the electricians, but Daniel and his team communicated timely and effectively with me and the electricians. They did a great job cleaning up at the end of each day too. Highly recommend for your HVAC needs.
Colorado Eco-Mechanical were fantastic installing a new furnace and putting new supplies connection in my house about 2-weeks ago. Daniel was very professional and ethical in advising me what works best for me. He delivered quality work on time. His crew wear very professional, skilled and courteous!! Love Daniel and the crew at Colorado Eco Mechanical. They installed a mini-split system at my house and were polite, respectful and efficient workers. Would definitely use again.
Daniel first worked for me to fix a major installation nightmare by another company on a job requiring ceiling cassettes for a mini-split system. He and his crew subsequently have done a major HVAC project for me on a massive remodel. HIs crew is highly professional, skilled, and Daniel personally cares about the quality of the work. Colorado Eco-Mechanical is the best HVAC contractor I've worked with in my 37 years in business.
Daniel and his crew are very knowledgeable. We’ve worked with them on many projects and some really complicated geo thermal systems that are working great. HVAC systems can be complicated, especially when you introduce renewable energy. With Daniel being a P.E. it certainly helps with the design build process and with the success of integrating controls systems. If things are not working perfectly there are will to jump through hoops to fix them. I would highly recommend them.
