Julio was in and out and performed a thorough inspection of the AC unit. I'm very pleased with the service.
I’ve known the owner Adam since he started the business. He’s a great guy and hires great people that are friendly and informative. I have and will continue to recommend Unique to everyone.
I wasn't sure what was wrong with my AC other than it was tripping the breaker a few times in the past year on hot days. Danny from Unique came out and checked everything out, and ended up discovering that my circuit breaker was undersized for what the AC said it needed. My unit is over 26 years old, so I was expecting the worse, but Danny was honest and straightforward. All it cost me was the trip/diagnostic charge, when I was expecting so much worse. Great communication, they were able to come out a day earlier than originally planned too. All around, from making an appointment to talking with Danny through the diagnostics, it was a great experience.
I called Unique Heating & Air Conditioning because our swamp cooler stopped working and they didn’t disappoint! Julio Garza was our technician and I was impressed with his customer service. He took the time to tell us exactly what the issues were and got us back up and running in the same visit! I definitely recommend this company if you need your HVAC system repaired or replaced. Very efficient!
Update: I have continued using Unique Heating and Air for annual maintenance on my AC and furnace and they continue to be great! Never have trouble getting an appointment and they are professional and thorough. Unique installed my new furnace and AC last year and they have serviced both my old and new equipment. All have been good experiences. They actually answer the phone, or get right back to you when you leave a message. Last year my old furnace died during a bomb cyclone and they came right out and got it running again.
Julio came out and was here a few minutes before and highly professional. Thorough, detail oriented and explained what was happening with our system. He was very patient. Call operators very nice and helpful. Would absolutely call them first when have HVAC needs again.
Lorenzo was absolutely incredible with our AC service today. He was very communicative with everything he was doing and provided timelines as the work was going along. We used Unique last year as well and that was also a great experience!
I contacted Unique Heating & Air on Wednesday to schedule them to come out for a tune-up on our a/c. They informed me someone would be out the next day (Thursday). This didn't happen. Didn't even receive a call. I called back on Thursday (June 15th) and told them no one had showed or called the previous day. They proceeded to reschedule me. They did show the second time but I was not satisfied with their service at all. The technician didn't even come inside my home as I am accustomed to. When I asked did he want to come down to look at the unit, he remarked did I keep the filter changed and told me there was no need to come in to check it. I've never seen anyone do this before of all the technicians I have had to service our furnace or air conditioner. After he completed service on the outside unit, he then proceeded to ask me for $89 for the service. I replied I had already paid in advance for the service last year which I assume he would have known?! Not sure what this was about but giving the technician the benefit of the doubt, I will assume he didn't know. Needless to say, this will be the last time I use this company. Service satisfaction is not that difficult, but when I see this many red flags, caution is warranted.
Mr. Garza went through my furnace and AC. He checked everything and cleaned my AC unit. I was amazed at how dirty my AC unit was. It hadn't been cleaned by any of your service men. Over the years you have sent people who never took my AC apart. I was told to take a hose to it or the fan would burn up. Mr. Garza did a wonderful job. He's an excellent service technician. I will always ask for him for my maintenance issues.

Got a new furnace and AC unit. Julio and Jason were here on time. Very professional with how explained everything to me. They worked quickly and cleaned up after the work. I would recommend this team to anyone in need of HVAC work.
Tyler came to service my units and was very friendly and informative. I've never dealt with anything related to my AC or heater before and he showed me where everything of interest was at the beginning of his visit, then did his checkup quickly, quietly and efficiently.
Tyler Winters performed an A/C maintenance for us. He was thorough, taking photos of procedure and sharing those with us. Professional and courteous. He is an asset to the company!
Yet another 5 star experience with Unique Heating & Air Conditioning! Unique has been our go-to service for our furnace, AC, and hot water systems. Their engineers & techs have always been extremely professional and yet very approachable. They always seem to go the extra mile to ensure that everything is set up just right.
Julio did a great job. He inspected my AC and was able to tell me of any issues I may have this summer. After talking with him I decided to have a new unit installed. My old AC was probably 20 years old. Thank you Julio!
Tyler arrived on time and did a great job. He carefully removed his shoes each time he came in the house. He followed a disciplined analysis in order to find out the problem and then quickly and effectively made the repair. We had cool air again in no time! I appreciate his friendliness, willingness to go the extra mile and his detailed updates. He did a great job and I'd recommend him and Unique Heating and Air any day.

From the first call, the folks at Unique Heating and AC were polite, helpful, and responsive. They had our failing water heater replaced before lunch the day after we called in an issue (at 8pm). The technician, Lorenzo, was thorough, and offered preventative maintenance advice and walked us through why we needed a replacement (we truly did) in a sensible and non-pushy manner. He went over his installation plans before doing anything. Would highly recommend. Be sure to check their website for coupons, which you should mention when you first call.
As usual Julio was prompt, polite, very professional. A great tech!
I called about smelling gas and thought my pilot light was out. Technician Lorenzo was at my home in less than 30 minutes. He checked everything and all was well. It was a false alarm and a miscommunication but I felt much better knowing there were no leaks or problems. This was the second time Lorenzo has been to my home (last time was last fall to check the furnace for winter). Both times he was professional and very polite and thorough. Thank you Unique for having such a great employ. .
