Would not recommend to anyone. Looked at my heat pump, said I needed 8.5 pounds of R-22 refrigerant. The unit only holds a max of 27 oz. Completely tried to scam me. On top of that, they never followed up with me after the initial look at the unit and the technician said I didn’t have a leak. Clearly there is a leak if refrigerant isn’t at full capacity. Found another company who only put 1 lb of R-22 in, did a thorough inspection and cleaning, completely fixed the issue. Do not call this company.
knowledgable, friendly, and competent. He answered all of my inquiries and explained what he was doing. He also granted me unfettered access to his heating system so I could see whether any additional repairs were required there. They did a fantastic job.

We found Stellar HVAC Repair when we needed a complete unit replacement of our furnace and A/C 2 years ago. Other companies gave us quotes over the phone without even looking at our home. Stellar HVAC Repair sent out a professional to take measurements and figure out the exact unit to fit our needs without overselling. We’ve utilized them for seasonal maintenance, and their techs are always professional and helpful!
James was great! I saw him in my neighborhood and I had an appointment for next morning. I've approached him asking since he was already there if he could check my A/C which was not cooling. He came over and fixed the problem replacing the capacitor. I'm glad he was able to help, otherwise I would have a very sweaty night, the temperature was 86F inside my house. Thanks for the excellent customer service!
Joe was available the same day he was contacted. He was pleasant and instructive. He took the time to explain the problem and the steps that needed to be taken. He also took the time to show me how to use filters to keep my furnace running smoothly. From now on, he'll be my go-to guy!

He arrived wearing a mask and booties, neither of which were required in my home, but I thought they added a professional and caring touch. Had no ac called Stellar HVAC Repair and they came out same day fantastic service, explained everything and turned out to be a minor problem and he had our ac back up and running in about an hour. They are definitely now our go to company for any HVAC issues we might have in the future.
All I can say is that this group is amazing. They had my heating and air conditioning installed within two days. The crew was very meticulous in their work, mindful of the existing building when doing the installation and running lines. Everything is amazing.
The installers came when promised. They were very informative. There was minimal disruption and they cleaned up their work area. I would not hesitate to recommend the company to family and friends.

Technician came 1.5 hours late. He checked the AC system and said that several components needed to be cleaned (I agreed). I asked him if he could check the refrigerant pressure just to make sure it wasn't low. He became belligerent and unprofessional, telling me no he wouldn't check it until he did the other work (The bid for the work was very high, in my opinion and I was not ready to do that).Then he tried to charge me $325 for the service callout that took approximately 20 minutes (the charge was stated beforehand to be $125). I refused and he relented, but this was very unprofessional. I would absolutely never call this company out to my house again. Poor communication, bad attitude.
They answer the phones when you call, which is nice. Otherwise, mostly scammy. Have you pay $50 for a technician to come assess the job, but won't come do the work. I was given a scheduled time for the installation we were quoted. No one showed. The manager at the shop noted they simply double booked, and there was nothing that could be done. So, I wasted an entire day waiting for a tech who knowingly wasn't coming. Thereafter, I haven't been able to get an appointment for the past several weeks. Apparently I'm waiting for the technician to call me? Every person at the shop gives a different statement of what the process is. Ultimately, they took my $50 and despite my repeated attempts they have failed to make any progress at performing the work. I would avoid this company due to their false expectations, poor communication that led to a misadventurous day at home waiting for a technician who never came, initial charge for an evaluation and failure to follow-up to perform the job.
I had a service appt feb 23rd where a technician came out told me there was water present and that furnace needed to be replaced, charged me half of the payment without giving me diagnostic report and pressured me into doing it next day without cancellation. I called back as I didn’t feel comfortable and manager called me back to check and ask why, well your technician didn’t do his job. I need to submit photos and diagnostic report from company that was first on site for insurance (ie stellar hvac) and they refuse to send me details !!!! I have called 10-15 separate times or more since February requesting details and a call back and have received nothing!!! Please make this right and send me diagnostic report and photos so I can stop bugging youuu this is the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced
I appreciated the way that your technician discussed with me the options that I had for my older AC units. Instead of a hard sell for a new unit he suggested that we complete the service and watch the units. I appreciate a company that puts me ahead of their profits! I will be using them for my yearly maintenance program from now hence forth!
