The plumbers of thorsons did a phenomenal job unclogging the toilet in a prompt and precise order and I couldn't be more happy with the service I received I Give them a five out of five stars. They were also extremely respectful and polite to our concerns and needs as customers I will definitely be doing Business with them from now on and also they had previously installed my dishwasher and toilets in the past in excellent and precise timing.
Mangement very rude ! Sad I have to use them through my Property Mangement. Please do not go if you want manager to be rude and to hang up on you in your face when asking questions on what is going on with the plumbing issue and the evidence for the issue at hand. I would highly recommend looking elsewhere for you plumbing needs!
We had a pipe that broke so we called them to come repair it. He came did his "repair" then said I have another call and left, he didn't even turn the water back on before he left to see if it was fixed. This was a week ago. So we turn on the water and he broke the pipe even more and we have a water leak! We have called and called. They said they would come out but then they don't cause they're too busy. Then they just can't come because they're too busy. Mind u we have a pipe that's just pouring out water! So now they wanna come next week. That's almost goin on 2 weeks of "they will try to come out" if he would have done his job and turned the water on to see if it was fixed he would have known. Very unprofessional. He only made the leak worse. And they act as if it's no big deal!
First things first, Thorsen's staff was professional and courteous from the phone staff to the technician that fixed our ac system. They provided us with an estimated time and met that, as well as a phone call when they were on their way. What I was unhappy with was being quoted $99 an hour for labor with a 1 hour minimum and a technician that was at my home for 53 minutes, who then billed me for 1.75 hours of labor. I called back the next day (Friday), after getting the invoice and seeing the discrepancy in hours, and contacted Thorsen's. I also asked if perhaps they had billed for travel time, as the trip from Turlock to modesto would equal roughly 40 minutes round trip. They had no answer for that question and said they would look into it. After receiving no return call, which isn't that large a transgression, I called them Monday morning and was promptly told that drive time was indeed added in. I found it a little disingenuous that piece of information wasn't included in the minimum hours/charge explanation I received when I booked my appointment. I do understand that fuel costs are up and technicians don't only get paid for the hours they are at a call, but it would be nice if businesses such as Thorsen's took the time to explain accurately what they billed and perhaps accounted for travel time within their fee structure rather than simply adding hours to give the appearance of increasing fees arbitrarily. UPDATE I did receive a call back towards the end of the business day the following Wednesday from the office staff regardingy my initial inquiry into the labor fee. They had just completed their investigation and wanted us to know they would only be charging us for 1 of the trips and not both ways as originally calculated. The net result was a check in the mail for approximately $50 meaning we were now being billed for 1 hour 15 minutes rather than the previous 1 hour and 45 minutes on a 1 hour job (53 minutes). I had a repair person come out once and the service was great. However the reception desk lady was not attentive and rude.
Not an honest business. Paid for a new unit install and over 3 years, were out to service at least 6 times with further investment with every visit. They were out again in May and by June, not working. Called another local HVAC provider who showed us that the unit was incompatible and most likely used upon install. I tried to speak with Thorsens and try to make it right, management wouldn’t take my calls. Gabe called me back the following day and offered to come make the repair at another $5k. There are BETTER providers. Avoid this business REPLY to Owner - I DID try to contact your office. I attempted to work with your business for 3 YEARS to fix your install. I tried to reach a manager for more than a week to try to resolve this year. Your staff was well trained to reroute customers and an indication of common practice. I feel 100% taken advantage of and I’m angry about it. So don’t even pretend you care about your customers. I called another provider and our home has never been so well controlled.
Had warranty issue on an AO Smith. They had excellent service, fast, reliable, no hassle, and Alex was awesome! They’ll receive my next call when I have an issue. Thank you!
I called on Sunday and received a return call Monday morning and had a plumbing tech here Tuesday morning. The tech had a well stocked van and knew exactly what was needed to make a timely repair. The price was fair and the value I received was top notch! The Tech's name is Alex and he is a great service plumber! Larry
Tried to take advantage by saying a 2 hour job would take all day and needed two people. Doesn’t pay to be that way.

I have been with this company for many years. I'm always treated with respect. The culture of the company is exceptional. They have a strong team of experienced professionals and technicians.

Tech was friendly. Got the unit working, once while he was here and it worked one other time. Having them out again tomorrow, hopefully it'll be under $650 this time and will work more than twice. Not a single mention fromm the office of a discount or even an apology. Disappointed!
The technicians are very friendly and polite. Ac went out yesterday, called ll and he called to get ac repaired. I missed a call at 5 from one of the girls. She left a message to call back to schedule an appt. I call back no more than 4 mins and the after hours answering service answered the phone. BTW a girl called me at their closing time and didn't even mention it in the message. Eventually after talking to a couple of girls I was told a tech would call me in 30 mins. Tech actually called around 8pm(several hours later) and wanted to check out my ac some time around 9 since someone else was before me. It was too late, my husband and I were getting our children and ourselves ready for bed so I told the tech I'll call the office in the morning and he can service my ac in the morning. Call me crazy, but, I thought since I was last yesterday maybe I'll be somewhere on this mornings list. Well, nope, I got a call and was told they can't come out until FRIDAY! Btw It's now Wednesday and It's going to be 100 today but we have to wait until Friday since they're all booked UNLESS I or my ll pays for over time. For the right price they'll come out right away or at least the same day you need services. It's all about the $ with this company. The girl had the nerve to say "she can't bump me up when she has elderly, people with disabilities etc that have been waiting since last week".... But if I pay for over time they'll have no problem bumping me up before the elderly, disabled etc. Lol
If you want to pay $160 from Turlock to Newman and only spent 10 mins to find the problem. Rip off
Thorsen's installed all the HVAC when home was built in 2003 and have been my HVAC team since then, excellent, excellent service; always send same person which is nice cause he knows my home and we know him (Jarrett). Very pleasant and professional!!!
Thorsen's takes care of the AC Systems for our entire Dealership at Price Ford of Turlock and Craig and his team are always professional and we can count on quality work. With 8 big air conditioners, its great to know you have a quality group of honest people to help keep you cool in the summer. Thanks for all the hard work!
I have worked with Thorsen's Air Conditioning, Heating and Plumbing for a few years now. They are a very professional company. All the sales people and technicians there is very knowledgeable and friendly. I would recommend them to anybody.
