I have dealt with numerous companies over the last two years with our old system. Chris from Hilo Aire was the most professional and courteous technician I have ever dealt with. The company is honest and fair priced. It was a great overall experience. Thank for helping us during a difficult time to not have air conditioning.
We had a great experience with Hilo air. Our air wasn’t working and Chris was able to come over same day that I called He was very informative about our system & explained exactly why our air was having issues. He gave us great advice and didn’t try to sell us anything. He got out air up and running again! Thank you so much. I will definitely call him again for any issues in the future.
Hilo Aire went above and beyond!!!! We had an issue with our air conditioning and have small babies. On a weekend he was willing to immediately walk us through it so we could get our kids comfortable and not have to wait. He was incredibly knowledgeable and was able to fix our issue with his step by step clear guidance. We can’t thank you enough for your willingness to help right away and on a weekend evening. We would hire him again in a heartbeat for any future issues. Thank you!

Chris and the guys went above and beyond. We were shocked at how efficient, friendly, timely and knowledgeable they were. They might seem a little pricey, but they’re truly state-of-the-art and the quality of service and product is unmatched. 100% will call them for all our HVAC/heating needs.
Hilo Aire was one of 3 HVAC companies that came out to give us estimates for a new HVC system and new duct work. From the first visit it was obvious that they were going to be the perfect choice. They spent the most time inspecting our old system, inspecting all areas of our attic, explaining what and why we would need new equipment. They were the most thorough and professional of all the estimates. The entire process from estimate to installation was seamless. They said it would take 2 days and it was done in one and a half. They respected our property and kept things clean. All the technicians were highly skilled and had years of experience. We feel very confident that we made the best choice.
We needed an update to our old inefficient a/c system. Like everyone should, we got multiple bids. Hands down, this company was the most knowledgeable, did the most through inspection and gave the best price of anyone. As a team, they found solutions that would work best for us. Always a fast response to questions. The crew that did the installation were very professional. When they finished the day, you wouldn’t have known they were even there. I had a wonderful experience with Hilo Aire. I reached out because my AC system was broken, and Chris immediately responded to me, and came out that same day. He conducted a thorough analysis on my system, and provided me with multiple options on the spot. A week later he sent a crew out for the install and the crew were extremely professional & quick, in and out in 1 day. I highly recommend Hilo to anyone with any sort of HVAC issues, they won’t disappoint!
SECOND TO NONE!!! From the time I contacted this team until the handshake upon completion of my HVAC systems, I had a smile on my face! The professionalism of owner, sales team, and installers couldn’t have been better. Great pricing from quote that no one could come close to, to the quickness and quality of work I received. Even ran into a snag of no 220 in my attic with conversion from electric from gas, didn’t stop them. Problem solved without a hitch! Would highly recommend Hilo Aire to anyone looking for replacement like I had to do after 16 years on these worn out units! You won’t be disappointed! Chris and Brett were amazing! I called them at 5:45pm on a Friday night and they were at my place within an hour. Chris was able to diagnose and repair my HVAC and thermostat within an hour and was incredibly professional and knowledgeable!! Would highly recommend their services to anyone in the area!

Was expecting repair to be a motor and other parts with freon and be pretty expensive, but it was just a fuse and Chris didn't even charge us. Our unit is very old and will most likely be putting a new one in soon and will definitely call them to do it. Chris was very nice, answered a lot of questions. Very professional.
Hands down the best company I have ever used! I decided to upgrade and re-install a new ac unit and heater. My house is pretty old so I knew upon looking for a company it would be pretty pricey. First off…Customer service was amazing. They were honest, dependable, AFFORDABLE, and no stress. Chris and his team were the best. Willing to work with you and very honest in the pricing. I couldn’t believe what an amazing price I was getting compared to the other places I got quotes from and the customer service you even can’t compare. Aside from that the work is 10/10!!. Hilo Aire exceeded my expectations. I struggled for 6 months with no AC and no heat, waiting for my home warranty company to figure out the system’s problem. Once I contacted Hilo Aire they were able to accommodate my schedule for an evening appointment and arrived equipped to inspect the system including the rooftop condenser. Chris and Bret made a thorough inspection and discussed my options in layman’s terms. Hilo Aire was able to recommend a reasonably priced replacement system with a competitive and comprehensive bid. I met with 4 other companies, but Chris and Bret stood out for their attention to detail and professional presentation. I truly appreciated their follow up calls and highly recommend them!

HILO Aire should be your first call when looking into your HVAC system! Chris is the consummate professional… honest, prompt, and friendly. Hilo doesn’t try to upsell you, or sell you options that don’t make sense for your house. He came and inspected our system, to find out that it was severely underpowered for the size of the house. He made sure he showed us options, but gave us a straightforward recommendation of what we actually needed to be comfortable and lower our cooling bills, without pushing the most expensive options, which is all too common. He even made sure we knew about updated California HVAC mandates that may need to be addressed. Installation was swift and very tidy, and the system is better than we could have hoped for. You would be hard pressed to find a better company if you’re in need to HVAC work! Highly recommend HILO!
