Ron installed my new heater and it works perfectly. He is polite, responsive and careful. We needed some extra duct work which he took care of as well, working with other contractors.
Ron did a wonderful job of repairing my heat venting system. The venting was disintegrating and needed to be completely rebuilt. Because he had a few jobs ahead of me, he came by and did a quick repair in order to make sure my basement did not fill with carbon monoxide. He came back later and re-routed everything. He was great about communicating when he was coming and came on time. He came back a couple weeks later to install smoke/CO detectors because he was concerned that I didn't have any. I would highly recommend Acosta Heating to everyone

Highly recommend this business and Ron in particular. He runs a locally-owned and supported business. When service is requested you are not transferred to a switchboard handling several businesses, you receive personal attention, questions and no promises without qualifications that he will do his best to solve your problem. He solved ours professionally, with great customer awareness and good value. Asked all the right questions before even making an appointment. Use a local technician who knows his craft.
I called Acosta Heating because our old gas furnace stopped working around Noon. Ron answered and thought he could stop by on his way home. He arrived the same day, when expected and fixed the problem quickly. Ron was courteous, professional, friendly and obviously knew what he was doing. I heartily recommend Acosta Heating and would use them again.
Ron is very professional. He arrives on time. He takes the time to educate you on the installation and maintenance so you understand why each thing is done. My home is old and the original wall heater was dangerous. He replaced the unit with one that was safe and up to code. Ron even went the extra step and showed me how to shut off the gas in an emergency. He left the area he worked in cleaner then when he arrived.

I only do reviews if it is extremely good or extremely bad - in other words a big green light or completely stay away. If you need this service Ron Acosta the owner is the man! The response rate, pride of ownership, and in-depth knowledge of the subject matter is abundantly clear. Let this man do his work and he guarantees the results. Work ethic and knowledge base is second to none - I am so glad I went with him. Ron is a great example of a true expert who rolls-up his sleeves and gets it done right. I have been landlord in bay area for over 25 years and when it comes to any heating issues I have always used Acosta heating. He is a true professional, very knowledgable, always takes his time to found the root of a problem, even if he needs to get into a crawling space. It is hard these days to find an honest repair service of any kind and Ron Acosta is one honest service man who looks both to save you unnecessary expense and also to make sure that the work he performs is done right! True gentleman, old time school, wish there would be more like him.
Acosta heating air conditioning and sheet metal are great! I personally recommend them to anyone who needs help.They are very polite, honest, prompt and they deliver the quality work from my own experience as they fixed my furnace.
Great Company - Great Price. My wife and I went to the Sonoma County fair, and bought a Tune Up for our furnace by Moore Heating for $20. When the guy came out he showed us that the furnace being 14 years old had rust on the front of the heat exchanger and tiny cracks, on the top. That my Furnace was potentially dangerous to run and that I needed a new furnace. The said their boss would call me and give me a quote. Buying a new furnace wasn't in my budget, not a cheap item. So I went on the price shopping spree. I called 6 different yelp, heating & Air Companies and got quotes, and an education in Heater technology, ducts and efficiency. Some gave me a basic price over the phone, some came by the house. Prices varied by quite a bit. My best prices were from Mark the Furnace Man, and Osorio Heating. Then I went to Pini Ace Hardware and got their local Contractors list. I saw the name Ron Acosta and realized that I had gone to Tam High School with him. I called him for a quote, He came to the house the next day and was the first to ask to look under the house at my Ducts to see if they were intact. If the ducts leak, I would cost more to find the leaks and seal them. All the Heating Contractors I called told me this information with their quotes, but Ron was the only one who asked to see the ducts. I opened up the hatch and he looked under the house and said my Ducts look great and didn't think we would have any problem passing the HERS rating test. Ron Gave me a price quote, just a little more than my best and tied for the #2 place. Ron called me the next day and I told him my best Price quote including the Hers Test and City Building Permit. He said he would match my best price. I told him I'd think about it. I wanted to check Yelp and found that he 2 Reviews and 2 Filtered Reviews all good. Ron Called me again the next day and said he would really like my business. He had followed up, matched my best price and had Good reviews, so after talk
