Vasyl did a great job repairing our old AC unit. Great service all the way around. He was very prompt and kept in good communictation especially on a very hot weekend day. The AC repair needed was explained well, the service preformed in short order and our AC is up and running again! Very happy with Vasyl AC Heating & Air. And since my old central heating unit should be checked out before next Winter sets in, I'll be contacting Vasyl for that service too.

I had an emergency with my heater early this morning and they responded to us within minutes and were over to fix the issue very soon after. We’ve used this company before, they are super helpful and professional, identified and fixed the problem very quickly & very fair pricing.

Our air conditioner stopped cooling and while Vasyl AC Heating & Air was quick to arrive, the only options given were to replace the compressor entirely for $2500 or to replace the entire system. The next day another HVAC company came out and had the AC up and running in less than 5 mins with no replacement parts. We opted to swap out the capacitor just in case and it is still running - all for less than $300. While we do intend to replace the full system eventually, we will definitely not be going with Vasyl as we had to go over 24 hours without AC on something that was clearly an easy electrical fix. Additionally, we learned about the manual J calculation requirements in the state of California that mandate HVAC companies to take into account the unique elements of your home including window types, roof color, insulation, etc when recommending the appropriate size AC for your home. This is much different than the old assumption that you need 1 ton of AC for every 500 square feet of your home which can result in a system that is much larger than needed and end up costing thousands of dollars more in cooling costs in just a few years. After all of these items were taken into consideration, we learned we only need a 2.5 ton AC unit. This was after being strongly encouraged by Vasyl that our system is highly undersized and we needed to upgrade to a 4 ton unit when in fact we can downsize. Our advice, get multiple opinions and do your research - it can save you tons in the long run.
