It's unfortunate that a review like Michele's 1-star rant (and she apparently wasn't even a customer) is affecting this company's overall average. It's petty to trash someone's reputation and livelihood so capriciously. Moreover, it surely doesn't reflect my own personal experience with the company's owner, Bob. He couldn't have been kinder or more courteous. Bob's repair of my A/C unit (a blown condenser during June 2017's 109-degree heatwave) was quick, honest, and fairly-priced. I'd highly recommend Diamond Heating and Air to friends and family!
Fast, friendly, professional service from the initial call with Elaine to waving goodbye to Bob after the service. Bob also gave some great maintenance tips and educated me on our system. A heartfelt thank you to this exceptional team. Diamond HA is what 5 stars is supposed to mean.
Bob and Elaine are wonderful. Our home warranty initially dispatched a different company to fix our AC, but they would be 2 weeks out with the temp 108+ for several days. We finally convinced the home warranty company to call around and actually find somebody available. Then sweet Elaine called with the news that Bob would come the same day. Bob came sooner than expected, was very friendly, and worked quickly to not only fix the AC but improve it. He knows his stuff. We highly recommend Diamond Heating and Air.
My fiances grandparents recommended them to us and it was such an easy experience. Eric fixed our ac in less than an hour. Diamond is definitely a great choice.
Diamond Heating and Air was sent to us for our very old AC unit by our home warranty company. Elaine called and scheduled an appointment within 2 days. Eric was on time, diagnosed the problem, had the parts on his truck and fixed the problem immediately. We never thought that old model motor would be available let alone on his truck! AC works great. Best home warranty vendor we've ever worked with. We highly recommend Diamond.
I love Diamond Heating and Air. They came out over a year ago and replaced my AC compressor on one of the hottest days of the year. The owner, Bob and his wife are so professional. They provide fast service at a reasonable time frame. I called again this week as I was having problems with the temperature control pad. Bob came out and was able to identify the issue and fix it quickly. I highly recommend them to anyone in need of heating and cooling needs. You will not be disappointed!!
My ac unit started blowing hot air into the house. Going thru our home warrenty company they referred me to a whole entire different place but they couldnt make it out for at least a week its 100 degrees outside with 2 animals 1 being senior and 2 small children I reached out further and was given info for this company. I spoke to the sweetest woman 1 who was part owner from my understanding the other technician who actually came the other owner Bob I believe well if it wasnt for them we would have been roasting literally my home was already at 83 degrees inside my apt was for in a few days but because of my situation they came out almost immediately. Professional and so kind. Fast working got our place cool and ac unit working it was the compressor that was dead the entire fan inside wasnt moving. It's an older unit way older than I even had though. I am so greatful for their hospitality and taking care of us. I highly reccomend them! And if we have further issues I will tell our home warrenty I want diamond to resend them again. Times are tough these days so nothing is taken for granted anymore and their persistence to help us we are greatful for. Dont hesitate to contact this company. They are very nice and get the job done and things working right. Thanks again!
If I could give ZERO stars I would. Our A/C went out while we were out of town. We went through our Home Warranty, who sent this company. Initially, he seemed friendly until we received denial of further payment from the warranty company. When Bob came out, he checked the condenser unit outside and replaced the capacitor (which was covered under warranty). He only looked at our downstairs thermostat that we installed and was working for about 3 weeks (Nest thermostat). We installed 2 Nest Thermostats and our A/C was working up until Sunday, July 5th. He completely lied to the warranty company stating the A/C never worked after our Nest thermostat installation. Essentially voiding our home warranty for our AC system. He proceeded to blame the problem on our wiring and that we were the ones who broke the A/C while installing incompatible thermostats. We are obviously not HVAC experts, but still found his findings to be questionable since he NEVER went into the attic. He also proceeded to tell us, without looking, that we had a Beulter system, with a ztech board which we don't. Bob then had the nerve to send us the proposal (photo below) of over $2,700.00 to resolve everything, without a complete diagnosis. Needless to say, I would stay away from this company unless you want to be sold unnecessary equipment and overpay. Our AC is finally working as of today (7/9) after a simple and low cost replacement of a $20 transformer and $2 furnace fuse.
I've used Diamond Heating and Air for years, always with excellent service and very reasonable pricing. I recently replaced my complete 20+ year old HVAC system with an Energy efficient system and the cost savings YTY are amazing. July 2018 PG&E Bill $656 compared to July 2019 PG&E $462 and PG&E rates increased from a year ago. And my house is consistently the right temp. Thank You Bob and Elaine!
My air conditioner quit cooling on a 100+ degree day. I called Diamond and the owner arrived within four hours, diagnosed and fixed the issue within an hr. and replaced my air filter which is a good 14 feet high. With in no time my house was cooling better than it had all season. I have used Diamond in the past and every service call has been done quickly, professionally and economically. Diamond is the best. They are my HVAC pros.

We had a new system installed a year ago and it’s been great. More efficient, quiet and effective. 3 zones and a quiet fan whole fan which is awesome as well. I have a 100% confidence in recommending them to all my friends.
On a 100+ degree Saturday, a real person answered the phone and sent a technician to look at my non-cooling air conditioner. The problem was diagnosed in short order. I would definitely call on Diamond Heating and Air in the future.
We had Diamond Heating and Air come to our house to service our failing air conditioner. They were prompt, clean, and answered all our questions. They gave us various options with prices to best fix our air conditioner. We would highly recommend Diamond Heating and Air to anyone.
They advertise a professional and caring company. I disagree. Bob rudely yelled hurtful words at me, humiliating me in front of his employees and my neighbors. He has no regard for the people living around his job site. All of this was over a parking issue in which I politely asked if he could move one of his vans so that I could comfortably back out of my driveway. He made me feel like I was a total idiot for not being able to back my car out. My lack of driving skills do not deserve or condone his inappropriate behavior. Totally unacceptable by a professional.
Awesome company! Everyone we worked with from the beginning paperwork to the installers to scheduling our yearly check up have been outstanding!
