Joe was very professional and didn't try and upcharge me for my service. I was glad I found Altamont Heating...will use them again if needed.
Got my AC working again. After 2 months of dealing with other HVAC companies and a nonfunctional AC during the summer, Smarter Attic found that one of the other companies had removed caps causing my Freon to leak out and had completely disconnected my heating. Everything works fine after Smarter Attic came and looked at it!

Joe was my technician. He was professional, friendly and knowledgable. He explained what the problem was, how it became a problem and what he did to repair it. I would recommend Smarter Attic to anyone and will call them the next time I need my system repaired or serviced.

Great service for AC filter replacement maintenance as it’s not always easy access to furnace in attic. Added drip pan sensor, the quote was 7 months ago and they still honored the same cost estimate, big plus in my book. Only regret is that I didn’t find them sooner.

Sonny came out to service a home warranty call. He was extremely professional and efficient. The problem I had was easily solved, but he also identified a potentially problematic component and replaced it. I cannot recommend them highly enough!

.I hired this company to remove old insulation and install new in my attic. The first time was terrible. Wrong size insulation(width). Batts upside down. I thought I hired a professional insulation company, mainly because of the good reviews. But after the second install, It's just as bad. I will post pics if I can. I just can't get over how bad of a job they did. Does anybody check to make sure their workers are doing a quality job? I'm not trying to be a mean to anyone or cause problems. I will re-do the insulation myself, even though I hate doing insulation,(that's why I hired a company). Examples of problems; 2 runs of insulation 18 ft. long have 5 pieces of what looks like scrap, some R-38 some R-30, that is just stuffed between joists, not stapled. The pieces are ripped and stained. Some of the tack strips are stapled to the bottom of the joists or torn off. I could go on but I've run out of time. I'm sorry if I hurt anybody's feelings or made anyone angry, but every word is fact! Update; I posted some pics from both times they installed the insulation. I fixed the problems myself because the summer temps can be brutal with no insulation, so I sweated my butt off to get it done ASAP. No, I didn't sabotage their work, if that's what you are thinking. If they did work for you, just have a look yourself, or have someone look just to be sure everything is right, because most people rarely got into their attic, especially during summer. I still have not heard from the company about making it right. A refund of the labor cost that I paid would be a step in the right direction. Again, I am not making this up, and not trying to stir up problems, just want to be informative. Thanks for reading. J. Hale
The company was sent by home warranty and my ac breaker kept on tripping. The last company that cameout 6 months ago did bad wiring when they replaced blower motor and my circiut kept tripping the tech fixed it and is now working.the Technician (Joe) was friendly and the service was fast I talk to home warranty on Friday and they are here today. Thank you
Our AC went out last week and our Home Insurance contracted with Smarter Attic. Sonny was on time, wore a mask, was very pleasant and was able to have our AC up and running again in less than 90 minutes! Great service, and tech!
Smarter Attic Heating Air and Insulation is a great business. We were having issues with rats in our attic and Smarter Attic helped us remedy the issue. They removed the existing attic insulation, cleaned, sanitized and rodent proofed the attic. After a couple weeks of observing no rat activity, they came back and reinsulated the attic. This company is very professional, thorough and efficient. I will definitely recommend them to friends and family.

I had a A/C maintenance done. I was advised when technician was on way (which time frame fell into the initial window I was given) Technician was professional, fast and honest. I was a little low on freon (which is normal for a 15 year old unit) the price was reasonable and my AC is still working great. I strongly recommend this company. Thanks again for your help Sonny!!
Added blow-in insulation to R38. Techs were on time, polite, professional and fast! Highly recommended.
