Came in to the office this morning and it was already 78 degrees! I knew it was going to be difficult to get same day A/C service. After going on line, I called the first 6 companies, including ones that advertised same day service, and no one could honor their advertisement. I tried one more time and reached Greg with Controlled Comfort. He explained that he had a fully booked schedule today and was running a little slow due to a broken toe. He took my number and said he was at a site close by and would let me know if he could fit me in. Not more than an hour later, I got the call that he'd be here in the next two hours. Customer service like this is getting harder to find these days. Greg is professional, courteous and knew exactly what he was doing. In under 30 minutes the A/C was blowing cold and I couldn't have been happier. He even asked for my garden hose so he could give it a much needed cleaning after replacing the capacitor. After meeting him, I see that he wasn't doing anything special for me specifically as I believe he treats all of his customers this way! Great job and will definitely using Controlled Comfort again!

I had an exceptional experience with this company. The level of responsiveness and friendliness displayed by their team, including Greg the owner, was truly impressive. It's evident that they genuinely care about their customers and go above and beyond to ensure their satisfaction. Christian and Vicente stood out with their friendly demeanor and thorough explanations of the entire process. Throughout the entire process of repairing my air conditioning system, I was impressed by the continuous communication I had with Greg. His involvement demonstrated his deep understanding of my system and his sincere efforts to ensure everything was handled smoothly. Not only did they efficiently resolve the issue, but they also took the extra step of cleaning up after themselves, diligently vacuuming and removing any smudges from the walls. Their attention to detail and commitment to providing top-notch service were truly commendable. It was reassuring to have someone with such expertise overseeing the project and providing valuable insights. I wholeheartedly recommend them without any hesitation.

I had four companies provide estimates for my two-zone mini split installation. Controlled Comfort had the best price, the most reasonable system sizing, and the most detailed estimate. To top it all off, Greg was the most responsive installer. Why waste your time speaking with an unknowledgeable representative elsewhere, when you can speak directly with the president at Controlled Comfort?

Our furnace was acting up and not turning on. We searched through various sites and took our chances with Controlled Comfort. I strongly believe in using local businesses to help my community. Though they are a new local company, the work and professionalism provided was beyond my expectation. Christian greeted me with a smile and assured me it was a easy fix. He was very honest in his diagnosis. The pricing was fair and very affordable. I will highly recommend this company to all my friends and family.

You can’t ask for more friendly, professional and responsive service. Greg, Christian and the folks at Controlled Comfort know their stuff and are great at what they do. We had to replace our 41 year old furnace this year; these guys offered the best product, pricing and timing, and we couldn’t be happier with the outcome.
I HIGHLY RECOMMEND GREG HEIMANN AND CONTROLLED COMFORT!!! Greg is very professional and extremely knowledgeable about HVAC and what you need. He does not sell you with the simple "you have X square footage so you need a Y ton system". He educates you on what would be efficient with cost-consciousness in mind. He replaced our old furnace with an electric heat pump, added an efficient (and slim!) condenser, updated/replaced our duct system, and installed an Ecobee smart thermostat. Greg and his associate Christian were very accommodating working around our general contractor's schedule and responsive to emails, texts, and calls. I am very happy with their work and will use them for all future HVAC needs.
Do you remember the scorching heatwave of 2022? On the hottest day, my HVAC system stopped working and the house temperature reached out unbearable levels. I then reached out to Greg from Controlled Confort and he scheduled a same day appointment. Christian who is the best HVAC Engineer fixed the discrepancy and provided detailed corrective action. The response time and customer service is impeccable. I highly recommend the Controlled Confort!
The guys at Controlled Comfort were great. Greg was very knowledgeable which led me to go with them with installing my mini split. Christian came and did the installation with a little help from two other guys I truly appreciate the cleanliness and for checking with me on how I would like things. Our HVAC unit’s motor died on a Wednesday and we were back up and running by Friday morning thanks to Greg and Controlled Comfort. Will use again for any future service needs!

I've been in my new home 7 years and realized that the summer months are upon us and that I've never had my A/C compressor serviced. I didn't want Murphy's Law showing up on a typical SoCal hot day, so I asked a fellow homeowner did he have any recommendations on a A/C company. He was looking for one himself and ended up using Controlled Comfort. He was thoroughly satisfied with Christian, the technician, the work that he did, the inspection cost, and recommended that I call Controlled Comfort and set up an appointment. Christian and Greg showed up within the appointment window, did a thorough inspection, and showed me what they found. They replaced the contactor terminals, motor capacitors, upgraded system wires, and cleaned out the compressor housing. My compressor is running like it's new and is even quieter! They were fast, cleaned up after themselves, and charged me a reasonable price that I was happy with. They are now my A/C vendor of choice, and I would highly recommend them to anyone else!
We experienced an AC leak over the weekend and had Controlled Comfort come out right after. The diagnosis was not immediately apparent, and our tech Christian did his diligence checking on a number of potential causes before sounding the alarm. He cleaned our blower motor, all of the pipes and hoses around the home and assessed the health of the core unit. We feared the worst (a full replacement) but CC was honest and upfront about better solves we could do now. Really appreciated their honesty and transparency in the process (our most sought after value in companies like this) and will be calling them in 6 months for a maintenance checkin.
