Tommy C. was knowledgeable, patient, answered all of my many questions and honest. He and the person who came with were professional and helpful moving things around to work in a tight space (even though I offered to). They put things back as they were prior to starting the work. I recommend Tommy and Sherlock. One suggestion is for Sherlock as a business is for phone support to improve communication with customers on specials, meaning what's included, what's not included, and for which specific appliances. And to also communicate clearly what was discussed to the people arriving to do the work. It seems like there is room for improvement in this area.
Kyle was extremely professional, performed service on a leak with perfect results. He was very engaging and personable during the two days that it took to repair. I would recommend him and Sherlock to anyone needing plumbing assistance. Got the leak repaired and our service back on within a very reasonable time period.

Victor came out on this hot 4th of July to fix my AC unit and did it quickly, professionally, and even walked me through what he was doing so I would know exactly what went wrong and what he was doing to fix it. Bob at the office worked wonders with some last minute rescheduling to make sure he got Victor out here. I appreciate you guys! Thank you!
After working with another company and having lots of issues with them, we have been very happy with our experience at Sherlock so far. They were able to get us an appointment the next day. Victor, our technician, was great. He was friendly and took the time to listen to us regarding the problems we have had with our AC. He clearly explained each step he took to diagnose the problem and was knowledgeable about the system as well as transparent about the costs and options we had for repairing the issue.
We purchased an ac with install from Sherlock less than a year ago and it quit working during the first major heatwave we experienced. However, Sherlock got a technician out to us by the end of the following business day which was a pretty great turn around considering what a busy time it is for them. It turned out that the ac was either set up with too little coolant or has a leak. They replenished it and it works fine now, fingers crossed its not a leak. I appreciate that they took care of us and prioritized helping us when they were so busy. Edited 6/30/2023 We haven't used our ac since Sherlock refilled the coolant. Well, it doesn't work again, technician came out and this time says there's a definite leak and we need to pay Sherlock $3500 to fix it. We just bought the whole unit from them less than 2 years ago?! We have been asking management and customer service to call us back for over a week now. Every time we call we are told it will be 24 -48 hours, yet 7 days later , no call. So disappointing. When they came out before, I think there was a leak, and rather than fix it while we were under warranty, they just made up an excuse that the system hadn't been properly installed with enough coolant. Now they are avoiding addressing the issue. I would advise anyone to beware of this trick. If you're low on coolant, there's a reason and we should have known better than to trust a refill with a story about "maybe not set up properly". Edited 7/3/2023 We have been calling Sherlock regarding this issue for over 2 weeks. We are always told we will receive a call back in 24-48 hours. No one ever calls. Supposedly "CJ" or " Rachel" , the customer service manager and service manager are being given our messages. It's crazy to me that you will respond to a Google review publicly, pretending to care, yet refuse to call me back to address this issue?! Please provide a contact here in your comments because continuing to state for me to contact senior management is no help

Jared Stein-Roe is a personable, professional, and knowledgeable HVAC tech who is a valuable asset to this company. He quickly diagnosed and repaired our technically challenging problem. He is a credit to the Sherlock organization.

They did a good job servicing my AC system. No issues with service. They were very professional and helpful. Only improvements could be giving a more precise timeframe for my appointment rather than being on standby the day of and waiting for the update for the technician arrival.
Lukas came out for our system checkup and identified an issue we didn’t even know we were having with our thermostat which was causing our furnace to not kick on properly. He thoroughly troubleshooted the issue, fixed it, and showed me how to make adjustments so that if I felt I needed to change the airflow I could do it myself as well. This is an issue we would have likely stumbled on in colder months later this year and would have had to place a service call. Super thankful for Lukas’ help. He was so kind and professional and helpful.
If you have an older house, hire Sherlock immediately. We have used them for several repairs around our old house for a number of different issues. Their experienced plumbers have always come through and saved the day for us. They. Are. The. Absolute. Best.
I scheduled a routine maintenance check for my heating and air conditioning system. I was able to schedule a date that was convenient for me, and was reminded about the appointment and notified when the technician would be arriving. Schuyler Davis, the service technician, arrived and provided me with excellent service. He explained what he would be doing, and kept me informed throughout the time he was here. My heater and air both required some maintenance which Schuyler was able to perform the same day. He was knowledgeable and professional with a very pleasant personality. I would highly recommend him.
Morghon was professional, extremely hard working and conscientious worker, and was so helpful in resolving all my plumbing issues. One of the best plumbers who cares about customer that i have seen so far in SD.
If you need plumbing service Sherlock is the best in town! Especially Kyle was really professional! The price was reasonable too.
Sherlock is lucky to have Cesar as one of their technicians! He is polite, kind and professional. Most important is that he really cares about his job and that the customer is happy. Sadly, that is getting rare these says. He did a great job servicing our HVAC unit and performing an adjustment to one of the ducts. HE deserves 5 stars, but I'm deducting one star for an issue with the installation a few years ago (it was tenant occupied at the time, so we were not present) and the fact I requested a manager to contact me and have not yet received a call - it's been three days... P.S. My puppy fell in love with Cesar, and you know how good dogs are at judging people! Cesar is dog🐾 approved! I'll be sure to ask for him the next time! 😃
Sherlock and Cody are awesome. Cody is the best HVAC Technician I have ever worked with. Very clear in his diagnosis, reasonable options, and takes time and care to explain everything. He is very knowledgable and credible in his work. I recommend Cody and Sherlock to all. Thanks Cody for such a great experience.
Jared was our HVAC tech, and he was amazing! One of our AC units stopped working and the fan wasn't spinning. Looked on YouTube myself to try to figure out/diagnose the problem without any luck. I called Sherlock heating and air and they sent out Jared! He came out and explained everything in detail of the reason why my unit was malfunctioning. He was thorough in his evaluation, very professional, and knew what he was talking about. Looks like our starter went out, and he changed the part up in 15 to 20 minutes after his assessment. Now I can enjoy cool air in this hot hot summer with my family and friends!
