I have an old AC that needed some TLC, and had the coupon. They came out, did a check and some maintenance. Was advised that while the unit was 20 years old and five years past the expected longevity, it was fine for the moment. No hard sell, no pressure, and it does feel like the AC is running better. Will definitely give a call next spring for a checkup before things heat up.
Mr Nathan Paredes is very professional and did a wonderful job in the maintenance of our air conditioning and heating system. Excellent customer service!
I spent $14,000 for a new unit 6 years ago. For the last 2 years, They repaired the same frayed wire problem at a high cost. Yesterday, after another regular maintenance, they came up with multiple issues. The unit was ‘leaking’ and the compressor, under warrantee, was the problem. They want $1500 for labor and $1600 for Freon. I got other quotes from the Carrier website, and they were 1/2 that price! I researched Freon costs, and wow, what a markup! When I called the office to discuss the cost and attempt to get a payment plan, the A-hole operator refused to put me through to a manager unless I told him the problem. I was angry, and he again refused to put me through and told me I should call back when I was less angry! Well let me tell you, Sir, I won’t call back, but I will share my story with EVERYONE WHO WILL LISTEN. Do not use Canoga Park HVAC! They are overpriced and incompetent. If you can’t give good customer service, you won’t get a good customer, again!
Miguel’s explanation was thorough and easy to understand. He is very kind
Canoga Park Heating and Air Conditioning are very professional. They always keep you up to date on their arrival. Very neat and courteous. Explain what they are doing and let you know if they find something that needs to be looked at with possible solutions. They are not pushy. All the individuals I've come across working with them have been friendly, considerate and understanding.
Fast and efficient and answered all questions. Very courteous and professional.
So far, I got a decent estimate for duct replacement. Waiting to finalize estimate and schedule the job! Duct work was reasonably good. However, it took several calls and visits to straighten out a compressed duct in order for it to work correctly. Technician came same day for heater problem and adjusted the unit so it was able to work again. June 12th: My free a/c tune-up turned into a costly repair because I didn't say "No" and postpone it for a second estimate/opinion. The tech Nathan scared me that certain components might fail. Although he was efficient, he wouldn't reduce the cost of the repairs ( over 1k) (I am dedicated customer) tells me as I'm paying for it that the parts he used might fail in less than a year. I am unhappy about this and I am worried that my a/c might fail this summer.
Greg was professional with top rated service. He was friendly yet very explanatory in what I needed. I am thoroughly happy with my service. Jan
This is the second time we've used Canoga Park H&AC. The first time was for a new central air and heating system for our house; the second time was for split units for our studio area. Both times we were extremely pleased with the service, the installation, and the attention to detail that CPHAC provided. To cap it off, the price was reasonable too! We recommended them to our neighbor who also used them and was pleased. From start to finish we feel they were top notch. Highly recommended!
My family have been customers for decades. Had a weird power outage that disabled my furnace. Johnny came out same day and got me up and running, he was very courteous and helpful.....as he always is!
Kevin was extremely helpful knowledgeable and certainly made it a lot easier for all of this to happen
Technician Kevin Castro came to check on my furnace that was not working. After checking it, he determined that the inducer motor needed to be replaced. They offered a very inflated "recommended" package of about $2400 where they also wanted to replace the igniter and add a surge protector "to protect my investment". Without the surge protector: $2100, and the so called "band-aid option" of simply replacing the motor inducer: $818. Keep in mind that a new furnace would be under $2000. When I asked what is the cost of the part, he would not say. Long story short: The cost of ordering online the original motor inducer is $56 and the igniter $25. Replacing them consists of removing a few allen screws and reattaching cables. Avoid at all cost unless you want to pay an exhorbitant surplus in "labor".
Charged me $1,100 and did not fix my system. The tech was inexperienced and did whatever he could to rack up the service charge, without ever doing anything to address the reasons the system did not work. I found a new company and paid $700 for the repairs I needed. This company did more damage than good.
Super professional, on time, knowledgeable... did a thorough inspection of (3) HVAC systems and quick turnaround on full report, estimates for repair, service, etc. That's why we're going on 20 years of using Canoga Park H&AC.
Our A/C was making a hissing sound. The CP Heating and Air Conditioning company contractor told us that whole system needs to be replaced including ducts and the a/c unit. The price was $23k. We called another company, they said there is nothing wrong with our ducts and only a blowing motor needs to be repaired and it is going to cost us $300. $23,000 vs $300, what a huge difference. Do not call this company, don’t work with them: Canoga Park Heating and AC.
On July 28 these people came to do an estimate at my home. They had to order a part. Then they came to install the part and it was the wrong size. Then they ordered another part. I had to call them several times to find out if the new part was here. Then when it finally did arrive on August 23, they said they couldn't come out until Sept 13 to install it. After all the time I waited they wouldn't come out for two more weeks. I went to the company In Person to ask them to do something! They said "oh we'll give you a discount" ..... when the techs installed it on Sept 13, they presented me with the original bill.... No Discount. And I was a long time customer for many years. Never trust anyone at this company.
I just had my servicing done by Nathan from Canoga air and heating and it was a good experience he was very courteous and respectful. He recommended I added a search protector for my air conditioner as I live in a mobile home and very happy with my continued service with Canoga air and heating.
Excellent company. They installed new air and heating ducts for our home. They have maintained our gas furnace & air conditioning unit for the last several years. They employ well trained technicians. Nathan serviced our units today. He was outstanding. Very efficient, courteous, and knowledgable.
Miguel performed this service call very professionally. He made recommendations in detail for my system. Well done.
