We had Emmanuel come and do our winter and summer tune ups. He is always professional and explains things very well. Grogan Mechanical was assigned to us by our home warranty company (Fidelity). The office staff is very helpful and friendly. Emmanuel always calls before arriving to make sure we are home and I feel like he goes above and beyond. He has a great recollection of our house and what he had done the previous season to our unit. I reccomend Grogan to all and request Emmanuel when I get our unit serviced.
Grogan Mechanical did a great job had good recommendations for my 1943 home in lamont which he converted from swamp cooler to a great ac unit. The new ac unit was installed 3 years ago no issues he did stipulate change ac filter and service it. Thank u Grogan

My whole experience from beginning to end was great! I was able to get the repairs done the same day. Monique was super helpful on answering questions and helping me set up an appointment. The tech Wilber was on time super friendly and was efficiently fast at repairing! I can confidently recommend them if you want peace of mind knowing the job is getting done right!
I have a home warranty and they came out to supposedly fix my pool motor which they did but after a couple of weeks it went out again so i called them back and they came back out and said it was my electrical panel. An electrician came out and they said everything was good that it was the pool motor. The electrician said it was a refurbished motor and that alot of times they go out right away. Companies do this when you have a home warranty because they know you will be calling them back out. Smh never again will i let grogan repair anything on my house. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THEM AT ALL
My home warranty set me up with Grogan and I had never heard of this company before. I am so glad they did. I was told two days to install a complete new unit. Well the first day this amazing crew stayed in to the evening to get me up and running as it was 105 in July to make sure I would have AC that night. They completed the rest the following day. This crew is amazing. As far as the owner he was also amazing in helping through the home warranty process. The unit I received is one of the best. Thank you all for your professional and honest work. I recommend this company to anyone.
Keep in mind they were used by our property manager, they showed up when they said they would, got the work done and left. For anyone having bad experiences with this company, I don't claim to understand the scenario which perpetuated the bad experience, but in my experience, half the problem is property management who hires these companies, and what cost the owners of the property are willing to pay to fix the issue. We had Grogan out this week for an ac that wouldn't blow air, and obviously with the heat wave they were booked solid, so it was a couple days we had to suffer. The receptionist said if there was a cancellation they'd call and let us know, and sure enough there was a cancellation and they arrived early. Unfortunately the problem returned that night, and I called our PM and never received a callback, so I called Grogan and they told me they received the work order and would be out in a couple days. They did and fixed the problem, apologized and left. For anyone having problems with this company, might do well to see where the disconnect in communication is coming from, in many cases if there's a middleman i.e property management, they have orders from the owners whose property they manage of what to and not to fix.
Darrin Grogan responding to an elderly person in the hospital for heat stroke: I’m in a 70 degree AC house right now and I’m going to sleep like a baby tonight. On 8/7/20, our home warranty commissioned Grogan Mechanical to fix our broken AC during 110 degree weather. According to the home warranty company, the ordered AC part was available for pick up on 8/11/20. When I called to notify Darrin Grogan, owner, on 8/13/20 that the part was available and this should be prioritized because my elderly parent had to be hospitalized due to a heat stroke, his response was absolutely unprofessional. Though I was upset, Grogan was speaking on the phone with curse words, said that the delay was due to the home warranty, and the part cannot be expedited installed because of his workers' scheduling issues. When I reminded him that my elderly parent's safety was at stake and already had to seek medical care, he responded, verbatim, "Why didn't you take care of your parent? I'm in a 70 degree AC house right now and I'm going to sleep like a baby tonight." Essentially, Grogan and his employees had no empathy for our situation and did absolutely nothing except curse and scold us as the customers. The AC part remained in their office as they ignored any calls and pleas to expedite the install. Today, 8/14/20, we still have a 90 year old elderly person in the house during 110 degree weather. Install date is still delayed until 8/17/20 with on-going attempts to expedite secondary to extenuating circumstances. Grogan's response to this was "Don't p*ss me off or else I'll cancel the job and you'll have to f****** start all over with this process with [home warranty]." Very unprofessional and unbelievably heartbreaking. The lack of humanity and empathy from Grogan and his company is absolutely disheartening. Please avoid all business and heart ache with this inconsiderate company. Furthermore, as I'm reading through other bad reviews on Yelp, I see that Grogan responds with zero acc
Grogan Mechanical did not meet expectations being contracted out by Fidelity Home warranty.GM didn't schedule appt upon receiving items to complete work.After several attempts to get answers, they scheduled me the next following Monday.No time was given to appt.Received text the day of appt, very unprofessional!
My AC went out Friday evening. I contacted fidelity and they gave me the name and number to Grogan. Monday morning, I got a call at 8:30 am and the gal was very friendly; She gave me a same day appointment. Matt the tech came out and he was super sweet and very efficient. He Took care of my problem and now I’m a happy camper. Thank you Grogan mechanical for having such a wonderful and knowledgeable staff. I will definitely refer you to others whenever possible!
