I am very pleased with Samson and Sons. From the first technician to get started. I had to leave my husband “in charge” and had no problem doing so because I could tell by first impression I could trust him and the crew. Very clean, polite and knew what he was talking about. I came home as they were leaving and walked into a very cool house. I highly recommend this company. Mark, the owner was very helpful, and courteous. The office staff was very polite and helpful. I would hire Samson and Sons again.
All these years and still going strong. I recommend these guys to everyone I know!
We own a small Tucson townhome built in the 70's that was just using the open space in the walls for the HVAC returns - no ductwork. This resulted in weak airflow and a stale smell coming from the wall interiors. We asked several businesses for a quote to replace this system but were most impressed by Samson's attention to detail and very specific solution proposal, as well as the reasonable cost. Then their install manager came to the house to take measurements for the new ductwork design, followed by the install team. There was only now small space available for a new return hole in the roof but they were able to make it work and the result was an immediate improvement! We appreciate the communication and the service for our heating and air conditioning. Living in Tucson it is important to have a service plan with an HVAC company and Samson and Son's is wonderful to work with.
Dylan gave me a courtesy call and arrived promptly. Professional and courteous, Dylan provided summer maintenance and cleaned my a/c unit. He came across as knowledgeable and adept and I felt he went above and beyond. This was a good change, I have two other family / households using Samson & Sons and it’s a nice change from the previous company. Well done Dylan!
We are so happy to have found Samson and Sons! Over the years Michael expertly maintained our two aging heat pumps, at very reasonable cost and without ever trying to sell us a new unit. Honest, on time, friendly and extremely knowledgeable. When it was time to replace one unit, we could not have asked for a better experience—scheduling, installation, price, friendliness, professionalism. Finally, Christian recently came to repair a unit that had stopped working and check the pressure of another. He worked out the problem and resolved it for us on the spot, also noting that the other unit didn’t require more coolant at the moment. Honesty you can always count on, professionalism, reasonable rates and friendly service. Great employees making this a truly great business!

All aspects of getting a new heat pump installed and a vent removed and replaced for a roof installation went smoothly. They scheduled promptly, came on time (or rescheduled a couple of days in advance when necessary), and cleaned up after themselves. Personnel were polite and helpful when asked questions, and did a good job of explaining various aspects of heat pump operation.
SSHC is with it. It wasn't the lowest priced 4 ton HP split system in upper SEER range like omg. Its crew finished methodically and Mark came out later to personally look over every aspect of services delivered. Loose ducts were properly fastened onto plenums , etc. Mike came out before Christmas 2022 to manage maintenance package. ROC feedback was reviewed during purchase phase in 2020. SSHC stands over my HVAC system's performance through "maintenance" visits. Two thumbs up for amazing expertise (getting job done right seamlessly first time) and agility (flexible maintenance follow ups). Highly recommended for best quality Bosch product on market and its super courteous crews who bolster that first impression.
We chose Samson and Sons to install our new ductless mini-split A/C and Heating system out of four competitive bids. Alex estimated the project, and he was by far the best rep we dealt with. He was the only one who sent us a detailed load calculation, so we knew the size of the unit is correct for our space. His estimate was also free of all discount and service contract "gimmicks" that the other companies promoted to get our business. This company is honest and straight-forward. Mladan then came out to measure and order. He was thorough and made sure I understood all aspects of the installation. Our installation crew included Zach, Isaiah and Quentin. They were super friendly, professional and did a great job. At the end, Zach led me on a walk-through, made sure I was completely happy, and he even took pictures of the serial and model numbers to email me and took care of registering the unit for warranty. Overall, this was a flawless process, completed quickly and on time. Everyone we encountered was a joy to work with. Contractors can be very frustrating and unorganized at times, but you can rely on Samson and Sons to deliver an exemplary experience. Their process from start to finish is perfection, and we're 100% confident we got the absolute best value for our dollar. We will surely use Samson and Sons for ALL our HVAC needs in the future.
I was replacing a 12 year old system that had been nothing but problems and in the process, got quotes from seven different companies. The industry seems split in two - the ones that you see doing a lot of expensive TV advertising and the cost is reflected in their pricing and then the other end of the spectrum, where the company relies upon word of mouth and their pricing also reflects that philiosophy. The difference between the two companies was $5,000 for the exact same equipment - brand, model and any extras. I'm not paying someone that much more money because they have some TV advertising campaign and slick sales people. Samson & Sons was responsive, professional, on time and did impeccable work. There was literally nothing to not like about them. They weren't the absolute cheapest but by far and away, h ad the best reviews on Google and Yelp as well as outstanding comments on NextDoor. I'm a huge believer in word of mouth and that is what sold me on the company. Hopefully we are entering a long term relationship where they will be servicing and maintaining the equipment for many, many years to come. So, thank you Sampson and Sons for being the "old fashioned" kind of company that believes in customer service and satisfaction!
Great service, have used this company for 2 years. Serviced my AC and heating. They photograph and document everything then email you what they completed with pictures. Service was quick and engineers are knowledgeable especially regarding new rules from Doe. Pricing is good and we found using there maintenance plan is even better. Thoroughly recommend them.
Called in because heating system wasn't working. Lady in office instructed me to try something and said,"if that doesn't work call us back in 30 minutes. It didn't work and a tech Matt came out in 40 minutes and had it up and running. This company has always been the best.
Samson & Sons repaired my cooling/heating system and did an excellent job. They showed up when they promised and kept me informed throughout the entire process. They quickly diagnosed the problem and repaired my system. Because they were able resolve the issue so quickly, I was only charged the minimal service charge. They are trustworthy and competent. Samson and Son recently installed a new dual heat pump system in our home in Marana when one of our 16 yr old units failed. The service was fantastic. They came out to diagnose the problem right away and provided a portable unit free of charge until they were able to install the new system. The sales representative was very detailed in explaining the options available and within 2 days we had the new system up and running perfectly. I would highly recommend them for your heating and cooling needs.
We did a great deal of research before choosing Samson and Sons to replace our old AC units about three years ago. We've never regretted that decision. Not only did they offer the best value on the new units, the installation was flawless. Since then, the semi-annual maintenance has been superb with Jose and Christian providing superior service again this year. This business has our highest recommendation!
Jose was wonderful. He promptly accessed my system and ensured it was running perfectly. He educated me on ways to reduce my electric bill and how to change my filters. He also told me where to go to get filters and which filters to purchase.
I have a vacation home in Tucson and since I am often not there I really have to rely on the people that service my home or things can go really wrong in my absence. I have had issues with past service providers charging for unnecessary repairs or a failure once which led to a huge electricity bill. I have had a number of HVAC companies service my home, I have never been very happy. I finally found Samson & Sons 3 years ago and everything is done on time and budget. They always arrive when they say, which is really important if you live out of town and need to catch a flight home. My HVAC has worked faultlessly since they took over maintenance, which is one less worry for me. I you live in beautiful Tucson or have a vacation home there I strongly recommend Samson & Sons, they will keep you cool no matter where you are.
