Troy and his team are fantastic! Called, and in record time Troy found and repaired my cooling issue for my elderly mothers house. Very few companies give such great customer service! Call Marathon for all your HVAC issues, you will not be disappointed.
I noticed my AC was taking extremely long to cycle and not cooling the house properly anymore. My mistake was calling a different company to come and take a look. After being quoted $1800 just to find where my system was leaking freon from I decided to look elsewhere and thankfully found Marathon. I set an appointment and Josh immediately found the problem; my evaporator coil was leaking. I received an honest quote and he gave me time frames on when I could expect to have the installation done for the new one. Installation took about 3 hours from start to finish and now my system is working like it's brand new. Thanks Marathon!
Tech was very professional and knowledgeable. On top of that he was on time and very efficient. Rare qualities to find these days.

I have used Marathon Heating and Cooling for both heater repair and A/C repair. Both times they were very professional, experienced and had good price.
These skilled technicians are well versed on all types of A/C and evaporate units, show up on time, and follow up with great service. They replaced my old mastercool and serviced my A/C as well. These are my guys from now on.

Troy came and inspected the HVAC and Hot Water systems on a house we recently purchased and provided a proposal to replace the systems at various price points. We agreed to a date for the replacement. Troy and his team arrived as promised at 8:00AM and worked diligently all day until all tasks were completed and thoroughly tested. After cleanup the only way you would know they were here was the house was warm and the water was hot. Troy and his team communicate well, work efficiently, are a pleasure to have in your home. Marathon is a great company. I strongly recommend that you use their services.
Testing new feature
So this company came out 15 minutes later found one problem that was it. I called a second company who was at my house for about 2 hours and found several problems. I have several pictures of what the 2nd company found and I need a whole new ac system outside and in the attic, I would not recommend Marathon Heating and Cooling.
Josh came out and was honest, professional, and on time. He was able to fix my heater and let me know what the issue was. He made sure to explain everything he did and what the issue was. His 12 years of experience showed and we will definitely be using Marathon again for all our needs.

Troy was very responsive set expectations and a time line. He delivered, cleaned up and explained everything in detail. During the selection process of having our two AC/Heater units replaced Troy responded to my calls immediately and he was super knowledgeable and answered all my questions. That was one of the main factors we hired Marathon Heating and Cooling. We would do it again .
Our HVAC needed a new compressor. Ordering the replacement hrough our Home Warranty policy proved to be more challenging than I expected. Frustration drove me to call Marathon direct to ask for help in getting the part - as our tenants had been without fully functioning HVAC for about 2 weeks. and spoke with TONY. Troy (Marathon Heating & Cooling) could not have been nicer as I discussed the situation, and not only did he listen to my concerns, he actually stepped in to work with the Warranty company - the result being that he/we got the replacement part in 2 days, versus what had been forecast as 'maybe up to 2-3 weeks'. By day 3 he had picked up the compressor and by end of day 3 the HVAC was up and working again. Add to that he was a genuinely thoughtful person who was not afraid to go the extra mile. I truly recommend this company. An owner with a good heart and a willingness to do whatever can be done to do the job. He's the best!
Troy called to see if he could come sooner than the scheduled time. Which as fine. He was very efficient, knowledgeable and friendly. He gave us options for future coverage.
I was very lucky when I found Troy Roads, owner of Marathon Heating and Cooling!! Troy's diagnosis visit was reasonably priced and he came after hours due to my work schedule, for no extra charge. It turned out I just had some wires that came detached when I moved items that were next to my furnace. Troy inspected the whole system anyways, and reset the wires permanently. Next, I hired him to fix a condensate drain that I already knew was causing water pooling on my roof. He installed a new drain within a few days. When I blew a fuse about 2 months later, he came the next day to fix it. Just two weeks ago, I hired him to recommend and install a brand new unit on my second home, which needed a whole new base to be built on the roof. He is super knowledgeable because he has worked in the industry for large companies for about 20 years. You definitely will be glad to hire Troy because you get the experience and knowledge of a long time professional technician, without having to pay the overhead costs that large companies add on. I have Troy’s number saved in my phone and I will be his loyal customer for as long as I have homes in Tucson. He impressed me a lot on his first visit because he can explain everything about my machine and the reasons why he makes his recommendations. I have always called him since, and always will.
